Come on iGear, where are those &%@#ing Shark Sentries!?! You used to make true 3rd party stuff like Autoscouts that weren't as likely to invoke lawsuits!

Wow, I sure hope they make a MP scale Grimlock or Hot Rod next, because those would be totally sweet and HasTak arent making thems.

Does anyone have any iGear figures? Is the quality comparable to Hasbro's?

I only have their Kup head which is good, but I mostly hear horror stories when it comes to their MP KOs.

If you buy them all directly from igear it would be $740 shipped ($440 for the coneheads and $100 each for Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker.
If you buy the coneheads from Tfsource you can get them for much cheaper ($341.95 + shipping). Tfsource doesn't have the original three yet. But if you bought the coneheads from TFsource and Starcream, Skywarp and Thundercracker from igear, you are looking at around $660.

I hate to admit but these are tempting, and I own all the official releases. I really like the colors and the leg transformations are superior in my opinion.

Finally, you've seen the light! You're totally right man, HasTak isn't going to make seekers as great as these. They'll keep churning out repaints of their cruddy seeker mold. Haven't even seen a Hasbro release of Thundercracker yet:( I think you're close with your idea of releasing Grimlock, maybe if they upscaled him though. Now you're talking! Hotrod/Rodimus Prime, wasn't a huge fan of the mold, I'm sure they would be able to make it better though.

I've said from the jump, these products are good quality. But please, please don't take my word for it. Ask peaugh. Ask your colleague El Duque. I remember listening to the podcast he sat in on, I rejoiced when he said outright that if you didn't know they weren't official, you would believe they are legit. Everything about them works. The mods are significant and they even give nods to their inspiration (collaborator) Wheeljack, with a molded WJ face on the inner thigh. The mods to the main body are cleverly and professionally designed. The joints are stiff but not too stiff, paint apps are great, and they come with a heap of stickers to decorate your seeker with. It's a shame that you don't have one for yourself, all you can do is let others tell you what to think about these figures. And remember, we're discussing the seekers here. Save your hatred of Crystal Leader for a different thread when you reply.

I only have MP Starscream. I really hate his hip kibble.

Same size.

The MP and PP seekers all see eye to eye, the coneheads are slightly taller because of, well, the cones. Shoulder to shoulder, they are the same height.

That's kind of what I am seeing, the grey on Skywarp looks "cheap" to me.

To just address a few things others have mentioned so far:
-I really like the idea of more cartoon-accurate colors
-The grey on Skywarp does look kinda cheap, hope they fix they on the final version
-The iGear seekers/coneheads are in the same scale as the Hasbro/Takara figures
-Good opportunity to get a Thundercracker for those who missed out on the Takara version/have waited years for a Hasbro release
-The plastic quality on the coneheads seems on par with the Takara/Hasbro versions. The ONLY thing I did not like are the flaps by the arms (one of the first parts you are supposed to move in transformation), it does seem to fold back correctly (like official products) and makes this step a little awkward. I could also mention the plastic stand is a little too tight when pushing into the base.
-I own both Takara and Hasbro Starscreams, Takara Thundercracker, and Hasbro Skywarp, I'll probably still pick the iGear versions up.
"Traitor" is an awesome codename, but I have NO IDEA why they named the other "Destroyer".

The big "Not Final" stamped across the image may address that.
I have a full set of Takara and Hasbro seekers, and I may sell off 3 of the legit ones to get the kibble free versions these guys are selling.

Maybe Igear can recolor the MP Rodimus toy in Car robots speedbreaker colors. maybe put a face plate on the rodimus inner head.
I also don't see the point in these 3 igear season one/1984 trio seekers.
I already have the liscensed hasbro MP seekers that walmart released for super cheap prices. I was even a cheap meiser held on to my recipts & kept returning them to pay cheaper clearance prices. I own 2 MP Skywarps that I paid around $15 each on deep clearance at walmart.
I own 2 mp walmart hasbro starscreams that's i paid on clearance for around $30 each.
Sorry,I don't feel compelled to spend over $100 for the igear versions of the 1984/season one seekers.
Sure I don't have any MP Thundercrackers. but i'm willing to wait it out & see if hasbro releases this one day. if not,no big loss,I already have skywarp & starscream & it's just a recolor anyways.

Seriously?
I never saw any MP Skywarps around here, let alone for $15(!).
I never saw any MP Starscreams marked down either.

1. I already have the HasTaks, and don't actually like the seekers enough to have to have these too
2. I'm generally a big supporter/buyer of third party stuff but come on....these three are so far over the line they've come back around the other side of the globe to tap on HasTak's shoulders and blow raspberrys at them.
