What "Video" are you referencing to, Because if you READ the description- THERE ARE 4 Separate PoV PROLOGUES ((One PROLOGUE every Week till August 2nd))..
Thus,,, YOU NEED to pay better attention to the subject matter.
ALSO, when I wrote my initial comment @7:30 am. (Not 3 am.) they're was NOTHING up on the Machinima website, NOTHING up on their Twitter page, Nor their YouTube channel (as I refrenced in my Original comment). - Now on YT their is (((this stop-motion crap))).
I don't know why SOME of YOU PEOPLE always want to argue.. But In this case YOUR Dead Wrong.
You couldn't be any more wrong, how does it feel...
The prologue composes of 4 videos which is what we get before August I'm not wrong.
And just like you at the time of the comment there was no evidence of there being 3 more prologue videos.
Jesus why does everyone act like they have to be right all the time?

Yes there was. The press release posted awhile back said there would be four preludes.Deadput wrote:And just like you at the time of the comment there was no evidence of there being 3 more prologue videos.

Additionally, Davis and Gutstein announced that a prelude series to TRANSFORMERS: COMBINER WARS will launch on June 28 on YouTube, Facebook and go90. The four-episode PRELUDE TO THE COMBINER WARS will help prepare fans for the full series by revealing the current state of Cybertron from the distinctive points-of-view of four characters.

Sometimes people don't see some posts. It happens. Once stuff falls off the front page of Seibertron it's a pain in the ass to look through the earlier news posts (which is something I'd really like to see remedied.) If you missed the announcement, the initial video was very vague about what the upcoming prologue videos, so it's easy to get confused. Now we're all on the same page
Some liked Jon as Prime, some don't, I think that's interesting. He does a great Cullen impression but the way he enunciates some words gives him away, and it's kind of offputting if you're used to him hamming it up in Honest Trailers or DrSmoov's videos or if you're expecting the genuine article. I wonder what Megatron will sound like...

You're right, good job me.
In my defense I only watched it once, and he doesn't actually say anything, just some grunts and yells.

I mean, I guess I could point out Computron's torso looking decidedly unlike the toy (is there a 3rd Party add-on it's evoking?)... but Optimus is front and center with his entire hip section lifted open with a very prominent piston right below. That's one of those things you try avoiding in a children's property.

Okay, I surrender. I only rewatched the last bit of the trailer to see Megatron's lines when I posted that. Clearly I just need to rewatch it all before I stick my foot any further in my mouth. If that's possible.

It looks like they started modeling Computron off of the UW version but then halfway through some Hasbro exec came running through the door yelling "No! No, no, you're supposed to make it look like our toy, not that better looking one overseas!" And then they decided the best way to make him look like the Hasbro one without scraping all of their work was to give him a faceplate.

Its probably the same artist who drew the Little Mermaid movie poster.

So true.
Back on topic. Now, I kinda wonder if Galvatronus will have a roll in this series... I can imagine Victorion making an appearance, but Galvatronus would be even more amazing. It'd make for some awesome combining scenes with the force-combine thing.

I'd personally love for all the CW guys that couldn't be in IDW to make it into this series, which is already happening as is shown with Computron here. Even just the Combiners that are in IDW but didn't show up until after the Combiner Wars series like Bruticus and Sky Reign. Imagine if the G2 guys appeared...

Oh man that'd be awesome. I'd love it if Superion changed colors, and Menasor could change just because it kinda fits his crazy personality. Bruticus however...

They could always blow past it it as Super Modes they gain from the 7 Chaos Furmanites after wishing on the DraG2 Balls.

I'd be blown away by an appearance by Predaking, Abominus, or Piranacon since they have yet to show up in any current fiction.
Posted by Kurona on June 30th, 2016 @ 3:22pm CDT
Though, Predaking did appear in Botcon's Dawn of the Predacus; while Piranhacon/King Neptune appeared in Beast Wars Shattered Glass. Not to mention Abominus being the primary Decepticon combiner in Shattered Glass.

But anyway...I'm sure it will be cool no matter what/who we get. Also, Does anyone want to lay odds that it will end with a Titans Return Cliffhanger?

o.supreme wrote:Yeah I was referring to mostly mainstream fiction. those combiners all also appeared in IDW/DDP TF/GI Joe Volume 3 crossover, but I don't count that either.

Yeah, it's inspired by IDW, but in its own new continuity.Tyrannacon wrote:I watched the trailer for it today and I'm actually looking forward to it, but it seems like the continuity is different from the IDW G1 Comics around the time? I mean Optimus is fighting Megatron, but that's definitely different in the comics. Still interesting though.

It's basically a new continuity inspired by the idea of combiners fighting. Previous plot summaries have told us it's set "after the war", with many details that just don't align with IDW's version of events.
