Oh well, hope he pulls it off

Looking at the people listed on the front page of IMDb's cast list, there are apparently four, and they are Mark Ryan (Ironhide), Glenn Morshower (a colonel), Chris Ellis (minor character, who really cares?), and Mark Anthony Vazquez (minor character, who really cares?).
I fail to see what this means exactly.

So now I can also announce that I've recently recorded two voices for the Activision game based on the film to be released at around the same time as the movie. I voiced both Ironhide and Hoist for the game, directed by legendary "Rocky" star: Carl Weathers, who is an all round gentleman and an excellent voice-over director! More info on Transformers later in the summer!
Where does this say that he will be voicing Ironhide for the movie?
I have read over the whole article 3 times and do not see it..
If I am missing something please point it out.

HOIST IS IN THE MOVIE GAME. YAY.
Does anybody have a YouTube clip of him or something?

Doesn't seem to acctually say that he is voicing Ironhide in the Movie, but I think it's a safe bet what with him voicing Ironhide in the game. I know people could use the Welker/Weaving argument but that was a case of appeasing the fans. Cullens already in both so I don't think the studio really wanted to go out on a limb to have Cullen voice Ironhide this time around.

Oh, man, I really hope that this doesn't mean just the game. I'm ready to know who's voicing who already. But he's been involved with the movie for a while, according to Wikipedia, so hopefully he's doing both. He looks like he'll have a good voice.

MAY 2007
Well! It's almost summer! So time for a quick update folks!
I recently got called back to the studios by Michael Bay to voice more material to be utilized in editing the Transformers movie to be released during the summer. Michael was again in great form and having a lot of fun with the characters of the Autobots.
Did you skip the first paragraph? I'm guessing it means he'll be voicing a character as opposed to making sound effects with his mouth, and Ironhide seems like a good possibility seeing as he's doing the same for the game.

Um.. That does not say anything definite. Sorry but your argument is invalid.
That says voice material, it does not specifically say a name.

Thank you.

True, but I took that verbatim from his website. There is a link in the news story. Follow it and read what he wrote there; it sounds like he's doing the movie voice as far as I can tell.
I'm not trying to stir anything up, either, mate. I just tried to answer the question.
EDIT: OH, you mean a character's name... Good point!

You are, as usual, correct. Honestly, I wish more career journalists and reporters were as careful about getting the facts right.

We need to be the best TF board around.. That is my ultimate mission.

Re: "I Love 1984". For those not in the know, it was a nostalgia show looking back at the highs and lows of the year, with various people reminiscing about stuff, and yeah, Transformers was in it (in fact, on the TF Movie DVD with the Headmasters ep on it, the disc opens with the Transformers segment of the show - Simon Furman and Paul Cannon of Transforce, among others, share their thoughts).
I don't remember Mark Ryan being on it, but then since I'd never heard of him before seeing the Transformers IMDB entry, that probably shouldn't come as a surprise.

Then I guess some of them just happen to be inept at it. The reporters who write AP articles on biological and zoological matters come immediately to mind. And, for the record, which do you believe constitutes a 'broad' statement?
a)Honestly, I wish more career journalists and reporters were as careful about getting the facts right.
(Note the qualifiers italicized.)
-or-
b)All career journalists and reporters try their best to get the facts right.

Not to mention Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, were both writers for the new Transformers movie and Alias.
Might as well call this movie "Alias but with big robots"

I guess they just like the random bit players they've had on their show that only appeared in a combined eight episodes.

And the idea of creating a language is very cool! I do alot of Sci-Fi and horror type writing(hoping to get published one day) and I find it a challange to come up with dialect and lingos that do not incorporate and of the sayings, puns, and refrences that we take for granted.
It's not that easy.
