I would buy this figure, only if it showed up in the next Michael Bay Transformer movie. Otherwise, I'll pass thanks.

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not...
Six Shot is probably one of the greatest figures from the end of G1 U.S. Airways and the beginning of the headmaster series. The looks of articulation on this surpasses the old Sixshot.

Sixshot, Greatshot, and SHADOWMARU! I'm hawt for all that.
Gonna Need 2 Shadowmaru, the second one for his dead brother (maybe they'll make a grey repaint for us?)

I kinda hope not. While I tolerate much in my collection, I was never a fan of "gun for the kiddies" alt-modes. Not to knock the characters, all of whom were curiously mega-awesome in the lore. But even when they played it off that they really did (or at least implied) turn into gigantic handguns, it still bugged me.

But it addes to the coolness that you can wield sixshot as a gun! Mass displacement to make everyone think its 'just' a weapon. I dig.

My original Six-Shot is plenty fine. I'm sure the next thing your going to say is he even killed Ultra Magnus. I doubt that.
So this is your attitude on the whole classics/generations lines?

Couldn't they come up with something new?

I stand corrected...
this will be going on my Decepticon classics shelf, replacing the G1...which will still be displayed with pride amongst my other G1 grails.

That makes it a perfect homage in my opinion. More of that please!

My only gripe about this will probably be the price

Well, it's true. It's true. They're semi-G1. They're quasi-G1. They're the margarine of G1. They're the Diet Coke of G1. Just one calorie, too articulated to be G1.
Just don't ask me to explain Masterpiece, as I don't think I could find a suitable Dr. Evil quote to paraphrase.
