Christopher Knight has dropped by the board again to let us know on the status of the upcoming CD release of Steve Jablonsky's Transformers score. It will be a single disc release that will be "as complete as possible", though Warners may plan a 2 disc release for release in the neaer future depending on the sales of the signle disc release (which, from all appearances, will do quite well. There was at least 90 minutes of music that was done for the movie. But Jablonsky and his crew also did the music for the video game. I suppose a 2-disc set could contain all of the stuff that they've done for the movie franchise including trailer music etc.

I liked the movie's score enough to actually buy both versions should the 2-disc edition ever make it to store shelves.

Same here. As long as the "Autobot's Descend" score is on the first version, I'll be happy to pick up the single-disc soundtrack to tie me over until the possible 2-disc version comes out!

That is delicious. As long as it has the Autobots descending track, the Scorpionok, and everything in that FX Ripped All-Spark track, I'm happy.

I think the support for the score album has taken Paramount/Warner by surprise.
Although since the album soundtrack they released was utter crap, it really should not have been a surprise that people would want a decent sounding soundtrack.
