Energon Hot Shot:
I was using Armada Side Swipe as a Classic Night Beat stand-in up till now, he has the right colors. I think I would buy this guy if they club sells him for $40, like they did the Deluxe Timelines Airazor with the new head.

Be cool if they made him a headmaster, instead of just a newly molded head...

Headmasters (new or not) have been something I've been wanting since Armada. Not that I'm seriously gonna get that this time, as this Nightbeat's more likely going to be a repaint (or perhaps re-mold) of Energon Hot Shot, I'm just using this as an excuse to climb that soapbox again.
I don't mind it being a reuse of Energon Hot Shot though. It wasn't that bad a figure, I just hated the deco on the original version (which is why I picked up the repaint instead).

Seing that pic makes me want another Siren so badly. My old one is turning brittle & has been missing guns, & lost all its stickers in my "bath toy" phase along with several other TFs.
......the only problem is I'm not wanting one so badly that I'd be willing to pay the $150+ you'ld have to for a complete Headmaster jr figure in good condition nowadays.

Based on that picture it looks like Energon Hot Shot will be the mold used for Nightbeat, but who knows?
I agree. So, this comic'll be available at my local shop, yes?

It should, because the others have, and I believe this description is a write up for Diamond Distributing.
Of course, those who go to the convention will probably have first crack at it, unless it is released before then (Captain Obvious here...)

The club membership freebie toys are gestalt limbs.
TRhis is a "general release" type club exclusive (Like TCC Astrotrain and Airrazor), that will be available to all club members and to most non-club members who can afford the inflated non-club member price.

Bummer, but understandable.

The Real question is if we can dig up a trench coat and hat to fit this guy
