Hopefully the old sets are combatible with encore as I was planning on moving them over once I got it in hand. Perhaps it's the same set and Crazy Devy is just rebranding the parts to take advantage of the encore.
I find it hard to believe that Crazy Devy got ahold of the encore set early enough to make new parts for it.

I have to admit, I dunno if there's still a market for this. I wanted these upgrades to have a decent Neo G1 Devestator. Now there are two much better options than upgrading G1 Devestator.

I agree and I really hope this is just a marketing ploy. I will be ragin' cagun if all the parts I spent my hard earned bucks on is in some way NOT compatable. I will then never buy another CrazyDevy part/item again. Got that CrazyDevy?? Stop with the mindf*cking already...'nuff said!

Given their piece meal marketing strategy, I can only guess this is persuade Encore customers to order. Encore reissues have been (in my experience) exact reproductions (as far as molds, not colors). I can't imagine there being a difference.

Well then, that would mean there is some kind of change from the G1. I thought Encore and the white box reissues were straight-up 80's molds. That sucks.

Could it be mold degredation?

Might be. I can't see any differences from pics.
