New Image of Transformers Generations Legends Prowl

I think I will pick these up once they hit retail, they look pretty good, and the price is decent!

Man, it would be nice if they came out with a normal sized Trailbreaker..

Why aren't we calling him Goldbug? Also, if these are Generations legends wave 5, where are waves 1-4 and who's in 'em?

They're thrown into the general 2010 line, only the Deluxe size class has the "Generations" tag. Likewise, Scout Windcharger and Voyager Grapple will be in the 2010 line as well, among the Movie-verse toys.

I'll be getting Prime and Megatron for sure.

Their naming just doesn't make sense at all. Just adding Prowl and Trail(breaker) becomes wave 5 where their generation wave 1 is the HFTD legend wave 1. I will give retail store a chance, otherwise, if I want to shop online, BBTS has this set up for pre-order also and they seems like a better choice.

And yes, I want a deluxe class Trail(breaker).

I'm willing to bet Trailcutter and Prowl never make it to Florida.

More money saved. HATE Legends. Plastic wasted that could have given us some decent Scouts.

Why can't they do the cars Scout size to accomodate those of us who like Diaclones? And deep down, it kills me because at some stage I'll pick up that Prowl because he's my favourite Autobot.

The cars are Deluxe size because that's what the KIDS today expect, not the fans. And remember, the KIDS keep the line going.

With a different head sculpt Prowl would make a decent Streetwise.

I don't think they have the rights to Goldbug. He's also a character in the Busytown books/cartoons, and has been on the air for a few years now, it may have lapsed and they lost out on it.

Plus it needs a new head mold to be Goldbug

I'm a likin' that Megatron.

I wonder if Masterpiece Starscream will be able to hold him.

AGREED! lets not forget that in this economy there are parents who aren't as priviledged as some of us and cannot afford the 12.99 for a deluxe (previously 9.99) even though these nice G1 homages give us original fans a reason to keep loving Transformers we are not the primary target...kids are, heck I am dying for a Generations Slugslinger but will settle for a legends at this point stay safe

BWTF.com has a few in-package images. Optimus seems to be hanging his head in shame or something.

Optimus, Screamer & Megatron will be bought on site. Possibly multiple times. On BWTF the in package image of Screamer has an unpainted head Optimus also seems to be playing peek-a-boo.

I want deluxe and voyager versions of these.

Just calling it like it is. Those late wave toys are painfully hard to find in The Sunshine State. I was only able to get Legends Rodimus this year after winning it off some guy in the Philippines. $17 after shipping. Kinda ridiculous.

Duel-wielding MP Starscream sounds sweet, though.

I will buy every one of them. I love legends class, and I like that Hasbro found a loophole in the 'no gun' rule that doesn't require neon colors.

All of them look really good for Legends class figures, except for Bumblebee/Goldbug who looks really stretched out. I don't usually get Legends figures unless they look exceptionally good or the character fits the size, but I think I'm actually going to get all of them.

Each will be bought on sight.

I use the Legends class figures as my work collection. So far, it's Hound, Bumblebee, Red Alert, Jazz, Smokescreen and Leo Prime versus G2 Megatron, Soundwave and Onslaught.

I need more Legends Decepticons, Hasbro!

I'm definitely liking Trailbreaker and Optimus. Trailbreaker deserves to have a Generations Deluxe made of him, so I hope that's in the works.

As for Optimus, it looks like he has the fake cab grill abdomen YET AGAIN. Ever since Powermaster Optimus, there's been a rare OP figure that used the same parts of the truck cab for his chest. Say what you want about Animated's art style, but the reason I love the Optimus they designed for the Voyager figure was that it used the actual truck parts for his chest.

I really like Megatrons gun look, i just hope they´ll be released in toystores over here in Iceland.

Not so. Mid-chest swivel, with the head on a post connected to the stomach. The cab grill is on his back, but when you transform him you flip the body around the chest, then fold the shoulders back and fold the arms in, in true G1 fashion. This leaves the backwards-facing head to flip down, and the legs to flip up at the waist to complete the altmode.

I will take all but Goldbug please!
