New Images - Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-25 Tracks and Accessories

I realized that the only place in my collection for this is next to my MP 01 Optimus Prime, because that's the only other MP figure I own. Either way, I want dis.

Looks legit. I like the accessories too. Little Blaster and that punk dude from the show lookin all Warriors style.

I'm not liking that particular shade of grey plastic for the legs and arms though. Looks lazy.

EDIT: Oh and the stand. THat's an excellent accessory.

Ok, now it looks like there is way more going on in that transformation than I initially thought. Hood and doors look to have much more going on than just flipping out of the way, those joints would probably look different otherwise. Can't wait for September!

Now, what I really want to see is Raoul in shot with Tracks to get a sense of scale. Something tells me he's going to be significantly larger than Spike/Spike/Daniel.

Those eHobby pics looks magnificent. He looks so much more substantial here, and those paint apps suit him perfectly.

The proportions aren't correct. His wings and legs should be shorter, his face needs a flat chin, his helmet should be stockier/shorter and his hood should be covering his head, not behind it.







The G1 figure has more cartoon-accurate proportions than the Masterpiece.

You mean the cartoon has more toy-accurate proportions than the Masterpiece. The toy came first.

In any event, I personally think he looks great.

Tracks looks great, but Raoul is disappointing. It looks like he has no face, no articulation and that stand is not a separate piece that he can detach from. So basically we are taking a step backwards here.

I just hope that the extra focus on Tracks means that the TF Wiki article on him can be changed to something less homophobic and bizarre.

I love this figure and will own him!

You are basing your conclusion from a show that was for all intents and purposes taking scale as serious as Hillary using a government issued email service for official transactions?

Larger? I doubt it. Taller? Yup, by a few millimeters thanks to the stand.

Well, size doesn't just go up. And I'm not referring to the stand's addition, I'm talking about the figure itself seeming possibly larger/taller/wider than Adult Spike.

Either way it goes, I'm interested to see how the different figures stack up.

why does it have to be 100% cartoon accurate? no masterpiece is 100% cartoon accurate

Raoul is disappointing. But that is the end of my disappointments with this release. Somehow these new color shots make him look fuller. I am currently on the edge of my seat.

Tracks is a bad man. This one looks fantastic.

Looks much better painted, a bit closer to my favorite art of Tracks. Heck they even tried to get him in the same pose!

I just noticed how Tracks has all the paint applications absent in the other MPs. Looks like Ocean won't be doing additional decals for Tracks.

Got my HLJ pre-order in!

Pre-ordered with BigInJapan this time for my MP fix. About Raoul, wished he had the poseability of the previous Spike figures so we can do a "Diaclone" with Tracks.

Regarding what was said about his proportions, the cartoon had a variety of art-styles. In some episodes the characters were boxier and stockier, and in others more lean and athletic-looking. (enjoyed the diversity btw.)

The hoodie over/behind his head may be an angle thing. Will wait to see more pix.

I don't mind the hood not covering his head, now he can look to the left and right and not having his hood blocking his sight. Maby it's adjustable to your preference just as Prowl's doors.

I hope if that's the case, they might make the headlights also able to use upwards, like the fins in flying carmode...

As for the face, I agree with SW's SilverHammer that it does look more like Roadrage. If you look closely you'll also notice that these are two different faces, one has a slightly open mouth. Could be that they used the RR faces as a stand in since they've been moving extremely fast on the production. Remember, back when Tracks was a rumor he was supposed to be followed by MP-26 Roadrage.

The new photos also fix the blue wrists and elbows from the previous set of images.

If Tomy releases one, wish they can feminize thefull humanoid face instead.

Roadrage has a faceplate though.

Tracks originally had a face plate, too, and it worked out for him. Some Road Rage art gives her a mouth plate and some gives her a mouth. I wouldn't be surprised if both MP Tracks and MP Road Rage have optional mouth plates.

Now I'm curious. I'm trying to think of all the places that have given Road Rage either a mouthplate or a proper face, but can only think of just two for the former and one for the latter.

That face does seem like a little step back for them. Sideswipe's wasn't perfect, but from Prowl on they nailed 'em. Tracks looks squished. His eyes could stand to be a tiny bit bigger, and his lips are a bit too contoured. Hopefully those adjectives get my point across.

All in all it's really just a nit-pick, I think the figure looks stunning.

How big is this going to be in relation to Generations/RID15 Deluxe/Warrior class?

Thanks to TAG Hobby we get new images of Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-25 Tracks! In these images we get to see MP Tracks' Robot mode in multiple poses, his Alt mode, his flight mode with his flight stand as well as his buddy Raoul.
