And he implied that Starscream wouldn't come back til Devastation... I KNEW he wasn't killed off for good, because you just CAN'T kill Starscream, even if you are Furman. Still, it was a nice little mystery while it lasted...

I think he means he equates Cap to Optimus, 'cept for the fact that Cap is (presently) six feet under. Since this is set outside of continuity, I'm sure it was a tongue-in-cheek comment.
The whole “planet-threatening” thing feels done to me, though, at least for a while. Sorry, Unicron fans.

Anything unfinished when DW imploded will probably forever stay that way, unfortunately. Nothing we have any control over. But like I mentioned before, I do prefer to look forward and not back.
I like this attitude. By this point I wasn't expecting anything DW did to get finished off anyway.
Pairing Alan Moore and Darrow on a TF book–that’d make for a good read, I think.

I was refering more toward his word association with Iron Man.
