guys are going to go see this movie...its a guy movie...
no guy will buy a femenine pontiac solstice
now most of the people who are fans of this movie are in thier mid 20's and younger...they MIGHT be attracted to the camero but most of these people are going to be in colledge, or still in highschool and wont be able to afford it
the hummer is an old model..if someone is going to buy a hummer they will buy the newest model..not the outdated one
the topkick is a really nice pick up truck however, pick up trucks are a niche car...people dont grow up and dream of owning a pick up truck...
then we have the mustang..but the mustang is allready a cult car...a movie is not needed to generate a buzz for a car like a mustang..people who would get the mustang would have allready got it...the mustang also falls in the same category as the new camero though...

Wow, by this notion I guess every single foreign sports car is owned by a woman and guys only drive around 1970 Chevelle SSs and Challenger R/Ts. Or trucks. Or A-Team vans

The Mustang is a chick car. really look at them you'd be surprised how many women drive em. and the Solstice seems to be the new car of the Abercrombie & Fitch douchebaggery. But movies have been used to sell all sorts of things so in movie where cars are stars you know they are going to go for the sell my major gripe is they only used one major car Manufacturer. While GM is a nice there not really on the Fore front of Exotic Car production

and you're right about the GM statement, i understand why the american movie has american cars but really wish they had more variety..they've limited themselves, hopefully the next installments will have more makes and models...

Hey, I resent that. I happen to like the new Mustang, and if I had the cash, I'd own one. And as far as Mustangs go around me, I'd say it's 50/50 between men and women driving 'em.
All of that said, I really like the new Camero as well. Too bad I will never own one of those as well.

resent it o not its the truth I test drove one If you taller then 5'8 don't expect to be comfortable, that goes double for anyone unlucky enough to be in your back seat. Other then teens, from what I've seen and known there mostly owned by women.

Dont know what stang you drove but the one my father and i test drove we had enough room. It was a 2006. Gun Metal grey with black strips and blood red leather seats. Thinig was sweet. Im 5'11 and hes 6'2 and we werent hitting our heads on the roof.He almost was but i wasnt. Same in the back. The only thing the back doesnt have is good leg room. But what sports car does.

Um, the mustang came out about a couple years before the camaro and it was the mustang that created the pony car segment. The new mustangs harken back to the 67-68ish years of the mustangs while the new camaro goes back to 68 model year i believe.
