AS such, I only liked half the interview.
Im still surprised at the amount of rewriting they have done, as late as 3 weeks ago! Not having to have your animated characters move their mouths to talk surely opened up doors and windows for these guys!
And $147 million isnt too bad a price tag, considering all the stuff Bay blew up...

Orci: You can’t escape it. You know…
Q: Yeah nice jab at Bush by the way, that was pretty funny, was that in the script?
Orci: [laughter] Yeah."
What jab at Bush? I mean, despite on how I or anybody else feels when it comes to politics, I really don't like mixing TF with such. It's one of my ways to escape from the real world. Yes, I do like my satire, but not with TFs. I'm just curious if anyone knows what they're talking about, cause I didn't quite catch what they meant.

they probably have some sorta line making fun of the administration and it reflects how people feel about the real one...or something along that line
maybe someone who read the script or novels can answer for sure

Well, SPOILERS: On Air Force One, a man resembling President Bush asks for a HoHo/Twinkie...it is supposed to make him look dumb/juvenile.
END SPOILERS.

I am by no means a fan of Bush. However, I agree. Politics, period, should have no place in this. Sometimes making something too real is just enough to kill the imagination factor for something of this nature and ruin the whole thing in the process.

If that's all they do, it's nothing. I still don't like a TF/politcal mix, but this kinda reminds me of how Pinky and the Brain would make fun of Clinton and the other world leaders of that time. I could've seen them doing this regardless of who was/is president.
