Trypticon's head looks really small in that picture!

Does Trypticon have electronics?

Not that it's a big deal, but considering Metroplex and Fort Max both had them, I'm curious.

Full Tilt looks kinda bad ass....! Agreed - this wave looks excellent.

Got seaspray last week. Noticed that he has no blue for his optics just black paint. Anybody else's the same? Any review I've seen have no blue optics.

i'm fairly certain trying to pose trypticon like a normal t-rex (horizontally, not vertically) is heresy.

Thanks a bunch, man! My family managed to find and pick up all the Wave 4 Deluxes I wanted (plus Repugnus!) while in New York last week, and it still amazes me that I probably managed to save a bit of money by getting them earlier in a different country. They're on their way home now (the family, but also the toys), but importantly I managed to follow your advice and ship two Brainstorms to their hotel - mission complete, after literally almost a year of trying to find a way to get him, so thanks so much for your advice !

And yeah, online buying has its ups and downs. I just preordered Siege on Cybertron, plus Octone, Blitzwing and Overlord from Premium Collectables (which, if anyone recalls, I have quite the love/hate relationship with), being pretty much the only online retailer I can get free shipping from where I am. I probably saved nearly a hundred dollars in all by doing so, but I also likely won't actually receive any of them 'til some time next year - well after I'll have seen most of them in stores - if I know the way that place works. I mean really, I preordered Sixshot from them over six months ago now and there's been literally zero word on him at all since then.

The Jet mode however, got alot of changes, still retaining the MiG-25

I get why they had to retool the feet for stability, but how does he balance on those tiny treads with that gargantuan duo of planks off his back

I've never noticed Full-Tilt snapped onto the tower like that, it actually fills it out and keeps it from being just a flat vertical panel. Though that does sort of make him bigger than a combiner in scale.

Also I think I'm going to be turning Windblade's swords around in jet mode to make them look more like guns.

early fan ideas/speculation was that Trypticon's head maybe could disconnect & form Brunt or a TM Legends Class fig similar to Horri-Bull would've been included & be called Brunt, but 3p seems the way to go to include Brunt(still dunno why Takara Tomy couldn't have included one with their release?) mind you....3p or someone else? still haven't included Cog with TR Fort Max((even though there's add-on kits(hands/feet ect) now out there for Fort Max)) another missed opportunity was to repaint Generations Metroplex's Scamper as Cog!, so going forward...it kinda makes me think we're less likely to be getting Fasttrack with TR Scorponok(but seeing as Full Tilt is included with Trypticon....& why wouldn't it?....i guess an argument could be made as to whether or not we'll get Fasttrack with Scorponok?)

Yeah, for some reason Forbidden Planet doesn't have Ramhorn or Overlord listed. Pretty strange, they do carry Leaders and Titan Masters.

A Perfect Effect Brunt would be awesome! I loved their Master Sword for Fot Max.

One convention exclusive could've be a bunch of repaints/retools as the extra city members.

Voyager Onslaught Mold - Six Gun
Deluxe Warpath Mold - Brunt
Legends Warpath Mold - Slammer
Deluxe Swindle Mold - Gasket
Deluxe Takara Nosecone Mold - Grommit
Deluxe Rook Mold - Fasttrack

Except those wouldn't be able to combine with the citybots and properly fill the role, so meh. A better convention exclusive box set would be making up for Combiner Wars' missed opportunity with exclusive cartoon/'84 toy-based deco versions of Mirage and Optimus, plus Jazz from the Dead End mold, Sideswipe from the Breakdown mold, and Windcharger from either the Breakdown mold or the "Brake-Neck" version of the Dead End mold.

Anyone else done this with their Titans Return Galvatron?

ETA: Animated Blitxwing (and T30 Blitzwing) might have 3 faces... But Titans Return Blitzwing can have ALLLL the faces!

Is anyone having trouble transforming their Bumblebee's legs? I am, one of the legs don't want to cooperate and keep aiming away from the peg.

So, my Cerebroos died after about 48hrs... I've tried lots of different batteries, but nothing. Is there a reset button or something?

This guy? i bet he will be another Deluxe-class like Full-Tilt i suppose.... His face is similar to Full-Tilts so there will be some possible chances

Yeah, both versions of that mold that I own (both Bumblebee and Roadburn) have that sort of problem, and it seems to me like it's more an engineering peculiarity than a QC issue or the like. I've found it's not too hard to get the leg into place - on Bumblebee at least, my Roadburn is even less cooperative but I can still manage it - if you:

- Make sure you push the legs in one at a time, in the right order (the one with less of the car's grill on the front goes into place first, and then the one with the 'tab' made from the grill goes after that;
- Start with the leg as compressed as possible but with the front of the foot/car grill angled upwards,
then sort of half-push-half-swing it into place, making sure you keep it aligned with that tricky peg on the arm the whole time.

It definitely gives some resistance but it'll pop into place fairly easily (and satisfyingly, might I add) once you get the technique down. I'd happily upload some instructional images but I'm not in a easy situation to do so, plus I imagine you get the idea - I've probably included a bunch of unnecessary info already, but I guess if it might help a fellow collector out that's great

I've got you covered (I do recommend transforming the arms second though, it gives more clearance on the legs.)

In other news, I've finally gotten to lay my hands on Brainstorm - thanks again for the tips nycPrime!! - Perceptor, and Topspin (oh yeah and Repugnus) and first thoughts are that they're all pretty great. It might be the hype and expectation I've had going into it for almost exactly a year now, but I think Brainstorm is honestly my favorite out of the three so far, despite the genius that is Topspin's engineering. The Blurr mold may have been surpassed many times over in design ingenuity, but I still maintain that it remains probably one of the most fun molds in the line.

(And on the subject, since I had to get two for the free shipping, I now have an extra Brainstorm; still in box (though the box is a little damaged) and all paint apps seem to be quite satisfactory as examined by yours truly. Was super excited that my Target was getting a shipment of movie voyagers, tr deluxes, and tr leaders. Unfortunately what showed up was a case of effing wave 3 deluxes and wave 1 movie voyagers, the tr leaders haven't shown up yet, but I'm no longer holding my breath for overlord, let alone black shadow or sixshot

I got Sky Shadow late last week and I really dig the figure. Yes, it's Overlord but seeing as we'll be getting and entirely new jet with that set Sky Shadow stands on its own.

Yes you can. Just do the base mode but don't lift the nose of the jet. There you go. Pretty simple, yet look very nice.

While I've got my portable booth set up, here's why heels are important in transformers. I had way too much fun with this. Kept out most his face because he's camera shy of he can see the lense.

The pics I've seen of Overlords super jet is literally the tank connected to the rear of the jet.

The tank splits into the leg configuration in the G1 toy, the new mold can't connect in that way so this is the closest possible.

That is one cooperative pup. Much as I wish he would, my cat will never stay still long enough for me to set up a Transformer riding him - and believe me, I've tried. It's almost like it's uncomfortable for him when I stick a sharp, (relatively) large and heavy plastic object around his neck...

The only wave 4 figures I have yet to find are the titan masters, which is a shame because I really want Shuffler and Repugnus. The only titan masters around are wave 3, which are shelfwarming here, and then there are stores that are also sold out and are out of stock and not restocking for a while.

Sigh, really want titan masters

All this Sky Shadow talk made me grab mine to play with, he's awesome, but the best part was watching my 2 year old grab the tank from me and fly it around the living room in her diaper making swooshy sounds.

Baby Girl loves some Titans Return. She calls the Titan Masters baby robots, "they're soooo, cute!".


Also, did I just get super lucky finding Octone and Blitzwing a couple weeks ago? Have they not shown up much at retail yet?
