Another new video clip of the new Transformers TV Series "Transformers: Animated" has surfaced online. This video, according to the description given by the poster on Youtube, was looped during the autograph session at the San-Diego Comic-Con this past weekend.

The video (nearly 5 minutes long) showcases the Autobots in space working on a meteorite. The classics transformation sound can be heard, and we are also given our first glimpse at what appears to be the Matrix.

See the video on Youtube by clicking here.

You can also see the first video shown at Comic-Con by clicking here and see the presentation of the Transformers Animated action figures along with new Classics and Movie figures by clicking here.

Damn my company firewalls. I will have to watch this when I get home after the gym. ARRRGHHHHHH!

Would've been nice to have sound, but the animation really speaks for itself.

It doesn't move the least bit like Teen Titans, which I suppose is good. Prime has a mouth still, which is still kind of taboo.

I wonder who the black and yellow Decepticon was. It didn't quite look like Blitzwing (He's supposed to have the cannon shoulder, right?

Nice  I wish the audio was a little better so we could here the voice actors but still cool to see.

Crap, I went home too early! I wished I was there to see the panel, toys, and video in person.

I am soooooo officially stoked now! There's just something about Prime's voice though, it's not deep enough for my taste. The mouth doesn't bother me that much.

Overall me likes. Was it just the audio or did prime sound younger that usual? That was kinda weird.

I'm eager to watch the show but I still don't like the toys much.

i never watched gen 1 cartoon save the occasional episode, I never saw BW and only seen a few clips of the armada-energon-cybertron stuff on you tube (and those 3 really did nothing for me) this however looks to be a lot of fun, any older fans that are critical of this im not sure what they expect from a kids cartoon (or what should i expect fom a kids cartoon, i grew up on battle of the planets!). the last kids cartoon anything remotely like this was thundercats that i saw in my teens! and as for the toys, you can guarantee that by the time the first ones are cooly posed at remys TF world people not liking this stuff will be in an extreme minority.

Prim IS younger. I think David Kaye is doing his voice, but it sounds more like Spike from G1.

seeing these clips is nice and all but it doesn't change the fact that the bots look terrible. they look way too organic-like. it's almost like they're humans wearing robotic exo-suits or something and whats with the horrific faces? on a side note, after seeing the movie 6 times now it's pretty clear to me that PRIME NEVER NEEDED A MOUTH!!!! bay and co. were totally wrong giving him a mouth plus it looked absolutely terrible. unfortunately, they seem to be taking negative things like primes mouth and megatrons "look" into the new cartoon.

Keep in mind Prime is suppose to be a young leader without much experience.

Bumblebee sounds like a chick. And damn it, put Prime's mouthplate UP. And what's with these Bruce Campbell-sized chins??

Shadowman, that's no Decepticon, it's 'Prowl.' And hey, did Bumblebee call Prime 'Big Bot'? And alright, Teletran-1's back!

what black and yellow decepticon? those were all Autobots in that vid, you were probably looking at Bumblebee.

You can see Animated Blitzwing in my Sig below, I did the best I could to pull this from the slide photos that can be found online.

Well. It did go up when he was trying to close that giant tuning fork thing. And I have to say I love how it makes that clanging noise when it locks into place. And BB and the giant green fellow were saying Boss Bot.

Every time I see a clip of this show I get excited more and more. It just seems so polished compared to the Unicron trilogy.

God damn it the G1 sound is back now i have to watch. Prime and Bumblebee and Prime sound like crap. Ratchet sounds like Kup(again). Listening a little closer BB sounds a little like wheelie. Were was the matrix? I didnt catch it. Still not liking the animation. I still dont know what CN was thinking when they decided to use that style of animation. Like i said unless the story line is kick ass and not a bunch of crap like the last few ones then i may sit this one out. Im not a big fan of CN shows so ill just wait and see.

I'm even more excited now! Though, prime bothering me a bit. I understand that he is supposed to be young and all that and him having a mouth doesn't bother me, but the fact he has lips and his overall look isn't sitting with me quite yet. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

On the other hand, I'm stoked about the animation style and I'm sure Bumblebee and um..big guy will be my favorites

There's a few kinks there, but I'm wholeheartly embracing this, ANYHTING'S better then the Armada Trilogy. Although, I DO want Prime's faceplate back. So far, looks great!

I am s upset with this show for so many reasons.
First I still hate the designs and how there going for transformer superheroes terrible idea.
Second the teen titans animation isn't that great to begin with so combining it with these terrible designs isn't helping much.
Third I have seen the toys and they don't look fun to play with at all that and all the vehicle modes are terrible.
And with the animation I'm not just saying it cause i don't like it i actually went to college for animation and its just bad. With this show coming out and the direction its going in, people have no right to complain about the Transformers movie.

That means nothing. No one has to go to College to learn to animate. Just because you did doesn't make your opinion any more valid than mine.

Hell, I even made an animation and I never even finished High School.

What is Transformers Generations?

Do you mean Generation 1? The one that jumped the shark between seasons 2 and 3?

This looks so cool. There even appears to be a real story unlike Armada/Energon/Cybertron. The best part? It seems like they didn't give every character a ridiculous accent.

That's because you're an adult, and it's not meant for you.

Even more so, I'm an adult, and I can watch any cartoon, notice so much about the movements, and only care about the writing.

I'm a writer at heart, you see. My friend, Tweezy, is the artist.

I have to say I was skeptical about this series, but after seeing these two clips I'm totally hooked! The Animation is a fairly standard western-anime-style as far as I can see, the frame rate seems Ok, but frankly I'd watch a stop-motion animated Transformers series made with card-board cut-out robots it if was well written and characterized, and Starscream sounded like Chris Latta!
As for Prime, I'm interested in where they're going with the character... By the looks of things he might not even be a 'Prime' at all yet, I have the feeling the aquisition of the Matrix will up his status considerably. As for his voice, couldn't help thinking he sounded more like Cullen when he had his mask on... Even if he was just grunting!
Anyhow, roll on the next six months! :-P

I try to stay open minded about new things. But my favorite part of this was when the guy picked up the phone and blaocked the screen.

I have no sound on this computer, so I couldn't here anything, I'll reserve judgement till I actualy here Kaye's Optimus(something about that feel real unnatural)

But I'm looking at it, watching it, and basing this statement on everything I've seen so far...

It seems like they have some good ideas, but this animation style is just wrong for TFs. This isn't like the move(to me) where all we had where stills at first and no idea of how they would look in motion which over all was real good. Want prof, it's still running strong in the theaters!

Loose the straight line designs, the american take on the cutsie ultra deformed theory, and the gutting chins, and maybe we'll have something here.

But since they won't, my dollar and channel selection will not be suporting this in any depth.

However if you like it, I truely do hope you enjoy, and learn to ask for better and not just take what your given.

Posted by Tigertrack on July 30th, 2007 @ 5:48pm CDT
That was cool. I'm glad it was shared. I will certainly give the show a go.

The big green guy is Bulkhead for whoever asked, not Springer.

It seems like they are doing a lot to try to bring things back that the fans would like or recognize from G1, and make an enjoyable show for the kids.

Perhaps you can feel it is more than Teen Titans- Mechs when you get to watch more shows in succession, etc., and learn the characters in this style.

Both. This is his Cybertronian form.

As for the footage... I'm still torn. If I actually get to see this show, I will probably keep wincing at certain things throughout.

I might have to start taking back what I've been saying about TF:Animated. The two clips I've seen look really good. The animation is fluid, and oddly enough, the TFs look natural this way. I think I'll end up enjoying this, I'll probably even get some of the toys.

Yeah, I guess I just ate some crow.

It almost seems like a prequal to G1..

He should be called OPTIMUS, not OPTIMUS PRIME :D until he finds the matrix? XD.

But obviously, i know thats all wrong, but, hey! its an idea.

Still think they should've simply done a carton based on the classics toy line, that would've kicked @$$, this cartoon looks way to cartoony for me, in that all the proportions are out of sync, they look more like super heros then robots, hell even the movie wasnt managed to still make them look like robots

Well, the storyline we've heard about sounds horrible, and I'm not a fan of the animation-style; but I'm still willing to give the cartoon a try.

However it's the toys that get me. I really was digging Bumblebee's looks from the poster(and still here; am I the only one who noticed that it looks like his Cybertronian form seems to be very similar to his G1 Cybertronian form?); and even some of the other bots. But after seeing the toys at Comiccon.... I don't know, the bot modes look Ok, but the alt modes are just Playskool material, I'm sorry.

With hearing the classic transformation sound, this is one series that I really WANT to like, but that they've just screwed with bad toys.
