Fans are getting their Studio Series Rise of the Bests Leader Scourge. He has been distributed to retailers across the US and Canada, so Amazon.com is shipping him out and collector shops like Geekstuff in Quebec has him on shelves. For those who did not see his packaging, you can see it below in this image from fellow canadian Seibertronian Kanrabat. We also havea video review from Chuckdawg1999 who bathed the figure in black light to reveal the look we get which is similar to what we've seen on the concept art where it looks like he is burning from within.
Enjoy!

So, Geek Stuff's owner having too many unsold leaders (and not much profits on them), he didn't took any chances in ordering "Apollo" (or something) and just ordered 6 units.
I was lucky to grab the last one!

No joke, even MOTU Origins Prince Adam.

Glad to have it, but also a bummer that this is the only Bayverse figure in the Studio Series mainline this year.

Yeah, this is the real reason. The way Hasbro sees it, you're getting plenty of Bayverse. I get you, though, I really want to get the missing bots from the previous movies.

Same here. I don't know if it was ever made clear, but it was me who reminded Hasbro on air that they had yet to complete those Dinobots.

Maybe once the SS86 ones are done and the Leader spots are freed up? That, and Demolishor.

It is, but Buzzworthy is at least helping out with the NEST repaints and a much needed reissue of DOTM Prime. Plus possibly Hatchet at some point and IIRC there's listings for another Buzzworthy SS Leader reissue this year, which would be nice.
Personally I'd want Grimlock since he's the only Bayverse SS Leader I don't have (and I think a reissue would be necessary for when they start doing the other AOE Dinobots given the long time gap), but Shockwave or Jetfire would also be good picks.
The fact that the first half of 2024 looks like a repeat of this year is discouraging, but I'm hoping it ends up like 2022 where we got a good amount of Bayverse in the later waves of the year.

I'm still undecided on whether or not to buy anything from ROTB, but I'll admit Voyager Cheetor does look really good. I'm not that keen on Airazor, but I'll perhaps wait until we see Leader Optimus Primal and Voyager Rhinox, then see what they all look like together, before I decide,

In the Beast Wars cartoon itself, there were gigantic insects, a giant rat, and a tiny T-Rex.
To say nothing of the Transmetals being as useless as disguises as any mechanical beast altmodes have been in any other series (G1, Cybertron, the movies, etc.).

Those were never "disguises" to begin with. The beast modes were all about functions and maybe even a fashion statement.

Having seen the trailer, wow, why did they change Scourge's design? His toy looks awesome but the movie model looks pretty generic.
Also, it confirms that next year's Scorponok listings are indeed for the one in this new movie.
And yeah, if the movie does well, I think we know who next year's titan is going to be. They probably have a couple characters lined up, one for that case, and one in case the movie only does ok or worse.

That would be a bit redundant.
Know what? I'd love a CORE CLASS Unicron.
It would be interesting how they could pull it off. Plus, it would be nice on top of one of these display backdrop like a looming and approaching menace.

I really don't think it would be, considering what that G1 Unicron looked like and what the movies look like.
Besides, i did not want a G1 unicron for $600, but this? I would take this. I have been waiting for a movie based Haslab, and this could be the one right here.

I had never thought about it before, but wow, core class Unicron is now something I really want.
Specially given that Haslab is completely inaccesible for me, and that the big(gest) guy is never going to be in scale with anything anyway.

He could be a "voyager sized" leader for all I care, if the looks is good in both modes and comes with a stand for planet mode, I'd be all over it.

The goal of a retail Unicron would never to replace the HASLAB.
Beside, I'm sure that they'll just re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-release the Armada mold before making a new one anyway.

Sadly, that Armada Unicron mold has been reused so many times that time and wear have finally caught up to it. The last release, Encore Green Unicron, can barely hold itself together.-Kanrabat- wrote:Emerje wrote:Sabrblade wrote:If they ever do, the planet mode probably won't be any bigger than a soccer ball.chuckdawg1999 wrote:If Hasbro does a planet-style Unicron at retail within the next 20-30 years, there might be blood in the streets.

It's mostly clear plastics just to add a layer of BS too.
I wouldn't mind a new Unicron that would be the same size as the Armada mold. Maybe this time around, that would be a "Commander" or would it be in its own new category?

I spruced up ROTB Bee a little bit after the trailer, painting the Autobot logo (or where it used to be) in silver and adding some light panel lining to the helmet!
