PARAMOUNT PICTURES TO RELEASE “BUMBLEBEE” ON DECEMBER 21, 2018
PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY ON TRAVIS KNIGHT’S NEW FILM BEGINS MONDAY, JULY 31st
The film will shoot entirely in California
HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 31, 2017) – Paramount Pictures, in association with HASBRO, announced today that principal photography has commenced on “BUMBLEBEE.” The film’s shoot will take place entirely in California, including in Southern and Northern California.
Directed by Travis Knight (“KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS,” “CORALINE”), the film stars Hailee Steinfeld (“EDGE OF SEVENTEEN”), Pamela Adlon (“BETTER THINGS,””LOUIE”), John Cena (“DADDY’S HOME 2,” “TRAINWRECK”), Stephen Schneider (Comedy Central’s “BROAD CITY”), Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (“SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING”), Jason Drucker (“DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: THE LONG HAUL”), Kenneth Choi (“AMERICAN CRIME STORY”), Ricardo Hoyos (“DEGRASSI: NEXT CLASS”), Abby Quinn (“LANDLINE,” “THE SISTERHOOD OF THE NIGHT”), Rachel Crow (“DEIDRA & LANEY ROB A TRAIN”), and Grace Dzienny (“ZOO”).
On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
The film is produced by “TRANSFORMERS” franchise veterans Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Michael Bay, along with executive producers Steven Spielberg, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian. Chris Brigham (“ARGO,” “INCEPTION”) will also executive produce. The screenplay is written by Christina Hodson (“UNFORGETTABLE”).

Which Star Wars movie is it opening near? Unless I don't know of a secret Star Wars movie coming out then, the only one in 2018 is the Han Solo movie which is being released in May ...

Again, which Star Wars movie is opening in December 2018?

I just assumed the 2018 Star Wars movie to come out around Christmas, as the others the past couple of years have. My mistake!

Oh okay. Yeah, the Star Wars movies will be released in May starting with the Han Solo movie and and followed by Episode 9 in May 2019. Sorry if my question seemed provocative.

A movie only costs 8 bucks...why not see both?
Im actually a bit more excited now that Cena is gonna be in it. Cause if Cena is out filming, WWE can give a push to Roman Reigns to take the title from Brock Lesnar.

It is.
And shush you, Burn. You better not joke about me and John Cena again.

And I can't see Aquaman making too much of a splash *boom tish* unless Justice League actually does well.
In fact, moving it from mid-year to December makes sense, considering there's a little movie called "Avengers:Infinity War" coming out in May.

The Han Solo spin-off is set to release in may 2018, unless it gets delayed I don't think there will be one releasing in December that year.

Hey, Bumblebee took Ravage's spine in ROTF, maybe we will!
Also, the spine song works SO well with the first TLK trailer, that was covered in another of Auralnauts' videos.

They also said that about The Force Awakens and Rogue One and see where they ended up releasing. I bet Han Solo gets moved to December especially since they dropped the Directors and went with Ron Howard. Ugh, wrastlers should not act.

Yes, compared to being sexually assaulted, put to death by hanging or having to eat Spam every day for a decade, then yes the Bay films are relatively good.

I'm still interested in the movie though. Not much else I've got to look forward to in the next few years of movies anyways. Sick to death of mess of Star Wars, obnoxious MCU and depressing DCEU.

Since there isn't that many characters in this movie the line is going to be padded out with old characters as well.

Anyone can act if they want to regardless of any other jobs they currently or previously had.

NFL players can't dance know how to play football you score one touch down big deal time to celebrate is ignoring you win game not scoreing touchdown be in lead of opposing team by few points means nothing if you don't win all they do is stupid backflips, hands up in air

Isnt that what they do every day in the ring? Its all acting and part of a performance.
And plus, if you say wrestlers shouldnt act, then we wouldnt have this:

The next movie line was leaked and we already know what it consists of. It wont be just him, there will be others like Lockdown, Stinger, and Decepticon Stryker.

Exactly! A lot of people forget that Dwayne Johnson voiced Cliffjumper. Honestly, if Cliffjumper is going to be in the movie, I wouldn't mind if Dwayne came back to voice him.

Yeah but he said a maximum of like 10 lines, did a little fight with drones and died in the span of 5 minutes and he got voiced by someone else later so we still would of had Cliffjumper if the rock wasn't in the show...according to concept art and such
Easily one of the dumbest moments in the Transformers franchise period and the justification doesn't give it justification on the fact it doesn't make sense.

The film shoot for “Bumblebee,” code-named “Brighton Falls,” was surrounded by heavy security Tuesday, including San Rafael Police Department officers and Paramount vans and trucks.
Zachary Quemore, assistant location manager for Paramount, declined to say how long the film crew for “Brighton Falls,” a.k.a. “Bumblebee,” would be in town shooting at the set.
“I have no idea,” Quemore said, referring all other questions to Paramount officials.
The set, said by San Rafael city personnel to be a facade of a house, was built earlier this year on an open lot at the end of a cul de sac overlooking the San Pablo Bay.
Access to the set was not available, Quemore said.

If this one doesn't bring tears to my eyes, in a good way (unlike The Last Knight), then we truly do need a reboot. And fast. Before Paramount ruins Unicron.
