Perfect Effect has updated their blog to include two new blurry shots of what appears to be a brand new Arcee-esque figure styled somewhat after both her Energon and IDW depictions, with some distinct features.
Seibertron.com will keep you up to date if more information surfaces after Super Festival.

Heh, I just got that model last month! My girlfriends mom leased a second storefront for her bookstore and the CyKill, Leader-1 and a couple of Robotech model kits were in a box left in the basement. They were assembled but unpainted and I've been meaning to look into them so thanks for the link!
As for the PE Arcee, I hope that's not what it is. Literally every other 3rd Party (with the notable exception of Fansproject)it seems has made one already. If the price is right though, I'd get one just to turn it into Nancy.

Motorcycle Arcee trend started with Energon but 'bot mode looks like IDW.
Honestly, don't care if it's an "homage" or straightup "concept":
Cycle mode looks awesome? Check!
Robot mode looks awesome? Check!
I'm all over this and repaints/retools (at least alter the heads tho, please) are more than welcome.

Since the last two, I've been thinking part of the problem was trying too hard to be Arcee-ish.

I'm just saying it could be anyone. I actually hope it's not Arcee. Kind of tired of her now.

With some paint, you can make it work.
(It's the Brave Gokin version of the Mospeada Cyclone Bike , who model kit Cykill was a redeco of, with model kit Leader-1 being a redeco of the Legioss Jet)

Actually, the monogram CY-KILL model kit was colored off the double sword model Mospeada 10.

GetRightRobot wrote:Ok people, help me out, the only Brave figure I have is King Exkaiser. I bought it because it looked awesome. I did not know who Shadow Maru was until the Hexatron Warrior was revealed. Now I read these posts and I did a little digging and the Brave series looks pretty badass. So, they have figures in common with both Gobots and Transformers. Is there any connection as far as story? Does Brave Max have anything to do with?

Here's a bit of my info regarding the Takara Brave toy line:
FIRST OFF: The same Takara company & designers that created the transformers toy line. also created the Takara brave toy line.
SECOND: It's worth mentioning that the Takara Brave toy line & the japanese Takara Transformers toy line, ran side by side each other in the japan stores from 1990 till 1992. then the transformers toy line got phased out for a a while & the Takara brave toy line took over. the same takara designers thats designed the TF toys also designed the brave toys.
In 1989 the last Succesful sales TF toy line in Japan created by Takara was Called Transformers "Victory". victory had a cartoon series, full blown toy line & ofcause a magazine magna comic.
Directly after Transformers Victory ended. that's when takara transformers japan exclusive toy line & cartoon series was in trouble.
in 1990 Takara created a Transformers "Zone" toy line that only had like 3 big sized toys. like diatulas, sonicbomber & roadfire. the brave toy line got dominated by micromasters & micromasters play sets & micromasters bases. apparently the "zone" pilot was shown to media outlets but no one like it. so this zone pilot episode got included in a TF Zone toy.
WHAT DOES ALL THIS HAVE TO DO with Takara's brave toy lines & cartoons series? All the cancelled transformers toys takara couldn't release to stores under the TF banner/package. got tweaked/remolded either minor or extensive & became some of the Takara Brave toys. some of these cancelled TF toys "That I think became brave toys" is as follows: (1) 1990 Dino-geist which has a 1985 Grimlock t-rex head & neck, the toy looks like a tripple changer 1987 Horrorcon. perhaps 1990 brave dinogeist was meant to be a "Zone" autobot who got revived from the dead & became a Zombie Grimlock. (2)Their is a new mold Takara Brave 7 changer, that doesn't use the 1987 Sixshot mold nor does it use the 1988 Quickswitch toy mold. my guess is this new 7 changer mold was going to be used as either a victory, zone or battle stars transformer toy. (3) Their was suspose to be a battle stars 1991 Rodimus prime fire truck toy that was suspose to combine with starconvoy. since the 1991 battle stars toy line wasn't doing great & had no cartoon series, the rodimus prime fire truck toy got cancelled. years later it got remolded & became a brave toy.
some of the japanese TF toys from victory, zone & battle stars got recolored & some got remolded & they became brave toys. like deathsauras, black zarak, diatulas, sonicbomber, roadfire.
it's worth mentioning that the Takara Brave toy line in Japan was being created & was in stores at the same time as the takara generation 2 & takara beastwars toys were in Japan stores.
At some point in either 1997 or 1998 the Takara brave toy line lost steam in japan. then beastwars in japan became the donimate takara robot toy line.
the takara web diver toy line in japan might have been the result of cancelled brave toys or concept art from Hasbro's trans-tech TF toy line.
Since the takara designers were creating some beastwars toys & some brave toys at the same time. I think the Takara Brave 1997 GaoGaiGar toy might have drawn some inspiration from some beastwars toy designs. as GaoGaiGar has rounded off body part, limbs & is decently poseable.
Rumors have it that the Takara japanese Transformer 1991 Battle stars/return of Convoy toy line concept art,toy catalog art & comic magna art for super & ultra magatron. some of the ultra robot & tank designs got used for the Transformers generation 2 1993 huge green tank megatron toy.
In the 2008 Transformers animated toy line. the takara designers chose to pay tribute/homeage to the 1991 transformers battle stars/return of convoy toy line. by designing the animated earth mode optimus prime like star convoy. then designing animated earth mode megatron slghtly like super megatron from battle stars.
Sadly their was no super nor ultra megatron toy released in the transformers 1991 "Battles stars/return of convoy toy line.

It looks ... decent from what little I can tell. Since I already have Valkie (can't spell that) and Delicate Warrior, I'm not too keen on yet another version of Arcee.

I have Delicate warrior, and it is a great representation of G1 Arcee, I wouldn't mind a slightly tougher looking fembot. Something that could go with the other 3rd party stuff more... fluidly.

I'm happy with my animated arcee deluxe toy,I paid $12 for at retail.
I don't like the arcee character/designs enough to spend over $60 on a 3rd party arcee toy.
I'd rather wait it out & wait for another liscensed hasbro/takara arcee toy. that I pay retail prices for.

I'd still like to pick up Delicate Warrior at some point but I'll def be supporting PE with this release.

I would love to have an Elita - 1! The Energon repaint wasn't altered enough (for me). Overall, I really like this warrior/motorcycle vibe. Looking forward to full color reveal. Unless they REALLY screw the paint up, I'm preordering!

I'm really liking what I see. The head doesn't scream "Arcee" to me but it's a great looking sculpt. I think Flareup and female Junkion would look amazing here.

I am so in. I'm excited to see PE work on a larger scale. IMO, regardless of being "Arcee" or not, this one will nail being a fun transformer. These picks do a lot for me. For all she works with the PE warriors, the scale is delicious. Also, I'm not having a problem seeing her design as feminine. I do believe, she has a deliberately cinched in waist and the face does it for me. The helmet it is a bit much though, is that due to transformation? Still if PE could put a clean face on their scouting force, I've got now worries she'll be fine.

Me too. Their smaller stuff never interested me until they did Scout Force X (Reflector). Those are amazing little guys. One of my favorite purchases, possibly ever. So I'm really pretty excited for this.

the only thing that would turn me off is plastic quality. PE is improving with every release, but still not quite FP grade yet.
