The May 2004 issue of PlayStation 2 Official magazine-uk came out today and included a demo for the game along with a review, here is the final verdict on the game:

Verdict:

  • Graphics 9/10 Beautiful and solid as Hot Shot´s chassis
  • Sound 8/10 atmospheric score, familiar Transformers SFX
  • Gameplay 9/10 Surprising depth for a mech shooter
  • Lifespan 8/10 A Minicon completists war will rage and rage
  • Overall 8/10 Beautifully made, deep and very satisfying, the only factor denying this a 9/10 is a difficulty level that borders on sadistic.
