Real Gear 2008 Wave 2 Announced

The 2nd wave of Real Gear figures have been announced for release in February-March 2008 at the Official Transformers site.
The line will consist of three repaints of pre-existing Real Gear figures:
Farsight T-20 (a repaint of Longview)
FARSIGHT T-20 is a scientist and analyst who is used to examining both sides of any problem with which he is presented. His keen intelligence and highly logical mind can break down any issue to its most important few points and reach a conclusion within a few moments. He joined the AUTOBOTS not because of an ethical compulsion, but because his analysis put them squarely in the right. Many DECEPTICON strategists have tried to out think FARSIGHT T-20, but all have failed.
MIDNIGHTER XR-4 (a repaint of Meantime)
Paranoid and frantic, MIDNIGHTER XR-4 is terrified of being late or missing a scheduled deadline. The problem is that, because he's so preoccupied worrying about it, he never actually manages to be on time for anything. When he sets a bomb to go off, you can bet it will detonate fifteen minutes late. If he's planning an attack at dawn, chances are nothing will happen until after breakfast. Other DECEPTICONS hate working with him, because no mission goes off well with him in charge
TWITCHER F451 (a repaint of High Score)
TWITCHER F451 is a psychological profiler, specializing in anything that makes the AUTOBOTS uncomfortable, angry, or afraid. With only a few minutes of observation, he can draw highly specific conclusions about almost any target's greatest mental weaknesses, and come up with a way to exploit them. He takes a great deal of pleasure in making other robots uncomfortable, so even other DECEPTICONS tend to avoid him.

Shame they couldn't work more of a Fahrenheit 451 reference into Twitcher's bio. "It was a pleasure to frag" should have been in there somewhere!

Midnighter XR-4 sounds a lot like me! I almost want to get him just for that. The watch alt mode is perfect for him, too.

Midnighter XR-4 is the perfect replacement character for Reflector...nice body style, cool head sculpt, great repaint colors.. a very nice figure all around..

With the success it had, I would assume it would be, the problem was they didn’t have enough figures so a couple repaints here and there isn’t a bad idea.

I'd prefer new molds but I do actually like the longview repaint. The meantime repaint just isn't different enough and the puke green one I will defo miss!
My fave in this line is the Camera one - surely they aren't gonna pass up on the chance to call one reflector or at least spectro, spyglass or viewfinder?
