Seibertron member Matt, from mattbooker.info, has discovered an interesting find at Walmart: Cybertron Scouts Backstop, Brushguard and Brakedown. These figures are in 25th Anniversary Universe packaging. In the past these have shown up at stores like Big Lots, KB Toys and Family Dollar. Are these Black Friday exclusives for Walmart? The figures weren't priced and when scanning under a price checker it said, "Please see associate for details." Not much more is known about these figures. It may be something similar to Toy R Us getting the Warriors from Three Worlds set that was originally released in Walgreens. Thanks Matt for sending us the info!

Really? That's a bit strange and overpriced. I just came from my Walmart about three days ago and bought Generations Dirge and Blurr for $9 each; must've been a special on all Deluxe class figures. Who knows though, it could be different for each Walmart.

$9 is the roll back price for deluxes at wal-mart. The normal price for a deluxe is $12. Scouts just seem overpriced since they are not on roll back like the deluxe. If you ask me deluxes should normally be $9, scouts should be $6, and legends should be no more than $3.

Cybertron had some wonderful scouts, and some wonderfully bad ones too.

Ah, now I understand. Thanks for the information
I honestly thought it was like a special sale. But I agree, deluxes should be priced at $9 in general. I remember back in the day when that was the case and scouts (or basics) were $4. This was during the Beast Wars run. Wish it was like this today.

Someone probably put them out before they're supposed to be out on the salesfloor. As long as it's not blocked at POS, you should be OK.

Judging by the general shape:
Top shelf: wave 1 HftD Deluxes
Middle shelf: RotF 2-packs (Beachcomber vs. Deadlift)

Thanks! Too bad those two packs didn't have Skystalker. Man I want him!

They probably produced way too much stock back in the Cybertron days and they're still trying to get rid of them.
