There has been a lot of interest in our exclusive for Slagacon 2011, the Vector Zeta armor set, and we thank everyone who’s purchased one so far. One of the most common requests we’ve seen, both here and on TF fan boards across the ‘net, is the desire for a non-attendee package. After much deliberation, we’ve decided to open up Vector Zeta to the general public.
Here’s how it will work:
On the “Pre-registration” page will be a new category, “Non-Attendee”. This is where you’ll be able to order the Vector Zeta armor. A non-attendee set will run $190 + shipping & handling. Shipping will be via USPS using Flat Rate Priority Mail, and includes insurance and delivery confirmation (where available).
All non-attendee packages will be mailed out shortly after the convention in October. If you’ve already ordered a Vector Zeta armor set along with the Attendee package, and aren’t able to make it to the convention, we’ll contact you after the convention to arrange for shipping/handling payment.
We thank you for having patience with us as we work through our growing pains. We hope to see you at Slagaon 2011!
“Vector Zeta” is the name we have given a new custom armor set, designed to work with Hasbro’s Classics Optimus Prime figure. This cast resin kit will be distributed completely assembled, along with a sheet of stickers for additional detailing. The creator of this set has limited his production to 100 sets. Because of this, and the cost of production, we’ve set our price at $175 for the kit.
In 2012, we will have second set to work with this one, inspired by the “Apex Armor” from Hasbro’s “Powermaster Optimus Prime”. This will include a second trailer, as well as two smaller figures, one of which transforms into a new head for the figure. We do not yet have a price for this set, but will post it as soon as it is available.

Vector Zeta's back up for order, had an issue with our inventory database that was incorrectly listing him as Sold Out. Got it taken care of, and looks to be working fine now. Sorry for the confusion.

This thing seems nice, but it's double the price I'd pay.

I mean, it ain't complete! You need to get to a freakin' 'con to get the add-on? In FP's CC case, though they did implement an extra accessory version( one for version 1 and version 2) it was in a more consumer/fan friendly price.
This is like milking it too much for a company that that is starting out. Even using resin? This is like so impractical. Should have used ABS/PVC.
Again, it ain't like they're holding a gun to my head but just giving my 2 cents worth.
But if FP does this, I'll be like there in the line yesterday.
