Considering the voyager budget used for this toy, HasTak might actually end up doing that to get their money's worth out of this mold. Shattered Glass Roddy may even happen as well!

That's largely why I'm skipping this version. I fully expect a SG Hot Rod to be released.

They might be waiting to see how well Shadowstrip sells before forging ahead with that. IIRC the CW G2 combiners underperformed in sales (hence us not getting G2 Defensor. Again. Maybe shoulda led with him, Hasbro, since as "thing we never got" he'd have been more in demand), so it would make sense for them to be more cautious this time.

Then you're gonna be skipping every use of the mold, bucko, because it's in unpaintable plastic for durability and on the same sprue as the spoiler (which is likewise). They weren't going to do a separate sprue for one hinge, it's super-uneconomical.
