Members are reporting that local Target stores are running sales on the price of Transformers Animated deluxes.
The new price is supposed to be $8.99 and last from 3/3/09 until 4/6/09.
Sounds like it's time to save some money and grab the latest released animated deluxes like Samurai Prowl, and Waspinator!

Animated Waspinator is really cool, but he isn't the bee's knees...obviously.

I snagged Samurai Prowl (who is awesome BTW!) but I still haven't seen a Waspy. Still need to find a Wreck-gar too.

i got another blurr im thing to get a bumblebee and re paint him red....target is the only place I found wreck-gar and i only got 3 , 1 for me and 2 for friends who were loking for him.

Either this isnt in effect yet or the target over hear sucks. Animated was $10.99 and get his universe was $11.99. They didnt even have any thing. TRU was cheaper (all deluxe $9.99) and actually had Waspinator and the new Prowl.

Picked up Waspinator today at Wal-Mart. Can't recommend him enough. Love the bugger.

It was happening at my Target.
The weird thing was when I went to Walmart, they had rearranged their displays, and there was a huge section with Animated deluxes tagged at $7.77, no toys, just pegs tagged with the price. Stupidly, I did not check the dates. Are they bringing prices back down?

I verified this yesterday at a Target in the Atlanta area. Of course, they were nearly sold out of everything.

Got Swindle this morning. They had a few of him, a few Waspys, and a ton of Flaming Lockdowns.

i only got blazing lockdown so i can complete the deluxe set ..LOL not even a better paint job can save this toy i guess
