The teaser trailer is from the PS3 version, and while contains no spoilers regarding the actual movie, it does contain a number of interesting clips.
Also of note is that the Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen game will differ across the various number of platforms it will be available on. Just like the original transformers Movie Game, the Nintendo DS will see both an Autobot and Decepticon version, will the PS3 and 360 versions will allow you to command both factions in the same game. The Wii and PS2 will have yet another version of the game that will play to the strengths of each system.

one thing i did notice was sideswipe (or barricade i couldn't tell which) and i was wondering if that turret type thing was a transforming "weapon"

The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game lets gamers step into the shoes of the Autobots or Decepticons, select any available mission and pick from the largest, most diverse range of playable Transformers – each with their own distinct abilities and weaponry. Set in unique environment... (cuts off and can't find more)
so it seems like my(and a lot of other peoples') prayers from the first game are being answered in that you can pick your character this time instead of being stuck with a certain bot for each level. Here's hoping it turns out to be the game the first one shoulda been.

I do wonder though, will that voice over open the movie like the first one? Because it would be awesome, and it fits.

Don't mention it.
If I get this game, I should actually finish it this time.

I guess so, I mean why would you do that being the Armada was the best TF game done to date. So instead they just rip off a tired GTA style gameplay, make sense to me
Don't get me wrong, the first game was enjoyable, but it was no PS 2 Armada. As far as the ROTF game, I'll get it, stomp through it like I did the first, and get all the achievements I can.

The best Transformers game to date? Transformers G1 Awakening by GLU Mobile. Yes a little cell phone game is better than any other TF game made. I wish they'd do an Xbox Live Arcade version because it would rock.

this could suck balls and were STILL gonna buy it . that said it does indeed look better than the last game which ,while pretty, was boring as feck.
i agree with the other poster that while flawed in places the armada game has been the most fun to date.
hopefully they'll learn the lessons of the last game that ya need more that just pretty graphics. being able to play ANY character would be a nice start. i cant believe you couldnt play brawl in the last one !
anyway getting back to the trailer is it just me or does peters voice always sound like he's got a cold in these things? must be inferior dubbers or something as he always sounds spot on elsewhere. on whats in it its nice to see the selection of areanas are as well deveoped as last time and for what its worth i think that weapons platform was deployed by ironhide to act like a sentry. its a similar gimmick to what ive seen in an old PS2 game called "rogue trooper" ages back.
its a hell of a lot of fun so hopefully theyve done something similar for all the OTHER characters too to help differentiate them from each other.

That'd be awesom, I still play Armada every now and then, its the best. You could fight Devastator like the tidal wave level in Armada

Unless they get rid of the retarded time trials....and the magic pedestrians, and the fact that a palm tree is more powerful than alien weaponry, and the crappy hype about "fully destructible stuff" or the crappy hype "it makes you feel like you're a large robot walking around a city, because windows blow out and everything explodes as you get within a mile of it"
God I hated the first game.
I mean, is it really that hard to make a good Transformers game? Hell it's been done for years(without the Transforming part) in Armored Core.

Will this game contain prequel elements?
Is that the Carrier from the teaser?
Hmm.
The last Ds game was fab, its only shortcoming was the transformations not being droolworthy. I bought the PS3 one.
I kinda regret that after playing my friends ds one.
