I don't get it, I checked the TFA site last weekend and read this, which is still what they say when we click on episodes 30, 31 and 32:

Episode 30, 31 and 32 of Transformers Animated was shown in the US and Canada on the 14th of March 2009 and is titled Transwarped. The three part epsiode also included the episodes Where is thy sting and Five servos of doom. Oh and an Autobot dies in this episode.

But now I see that 31 isn't a part of TransWarped but a single episode instead.

Anyway, the name makes more sense now with wasp.

Major Spoilers, FYI. Good episode though.

Autobots are dense.

Many cool guests, and well, we see how some of the previous clues and spoilers play out.

I want to see the next episode...NOW!

Good job DavidT!

Shockwave has turned out to be a major badass. Megatron better look out lol!

...and the twins, in my opinion, suck as much as I thought they would.

They remind me of those two brothers on Teen Titans that spoke Spanish. Just can't remember their name.

I thought the twins were better done than I thought, but like all Autobots, have absolutely no ability to think for themselves, apparently.

I liked it. We got to see "earth mode" wasp, the jet twins AND Magnus laid out.

The animation seems a little weak in some parts, but it was an overall good episode. I'm excited to see more!

I thought it was quite enjoyable :) Thought we'd be getting Waspinator in this episode but perhaps later on eh?

The ending was quite a "wow!!" moment.. cant wait to see how the rest of that pans out :)

Dunno what to make of the twins just yet, thought the whole finishing each others sentences and speaking at the same time thing was cool, if not a little cliche.. but russian accents? Cant say I was expecting that.. "Cycled-Motor" though, lol :P

Great episode.
I was laughing when I saw the face of the evil computer from G1 as the background to Bumblebee's videogame.

::saves with keepvid.com::

Liked seeing Ultra Magnus messed up, though seeing it happen would've been cool.

Good question. Nice of Bulkhead to realize who his friend was, and tell Wasp that he was a jerk before he was accused of being a traitor, though.

Where the [EFF!]s Sari been these last two episodes?

Probably still recovering from the events in Transwarped.

I think it was a little all over the place.

The Bellic-Bots weren't as good as I expected. Their accents were a little distracting and... unnecessary. Their team work stuff was very cliche but that's okay, it kinda worked in a cheesy way. But their combining thing lasted all of 5 seconds before it got pushed to one side for some more plot dumping.

And I thought the Magnus bit was a bit.. tacked on. They did set it up earlier with Shockwave's message to Megatron, but I had to think for a second what had happened to him before I realised it was Shocky.

He's turning out to be a real badass, Shockwave. Have we ever had anyone so devilicious in Transformers? Maybe only in the television series. He's obviously a calculating liar and he seems pretty sick, what with crushing Blurr and taking out Magnus, presumably while he was unaware (if Magnus had the chance to use his hammer, Shockwave would be dust). And of course he sent down an innocent Autobot without question. No telling what we haven't seen him do.

You know I didn't even notice Sari's absence..!

But I don't like that Sentinel's back to being a royal jerk despite everything he's seen Prime accomplish. He hasn't learned a thing, which, while true to his character, actually works against him. In the end, good script writing usually includes character development, and unless made otherwise clear, Sentinel has no reason not to evolve to a point where he can accept that Prime might be right once in a while. Especially when Prime could just turn around and say "Do you remember the time with the Headmaster Unit last season?".

The episode was alright. The animation was very sub-par but meh. Not bad.

Yeah, I agree about Sentinel Prime being a douche. It's so... "American"... to have cartoon characters act just like they were described inside the initial character templates, as if events going on in the story are NOT adding to their character.

Cheezy.

And the twins were pretty annoying, much like I find the toy to be.
It's made even worse that one's being called "Jetfire".

I didn't notice Sari's absence either. Maybe that's a factor in me liking the episode.
Still liked it though.

Jazz's development in this episode was nice. He was less elite ninja-bot and more like oldskool brotha' Jazz, the music-appreciative partier. That made me happy.

Should be interesting to see how Wasp ends up as Waspinator... assuming that's going to end up as in-show canon.

Shockwave might be really evil in these, but MAN is he poor at thoroughly killing his enemies, isn't he?
First we're shown in the news here that Blurr's spark might still be active, then Magnus is still able to speak for a moment... and we KNOW what's in store for him. (A decent orange repaint made CRAP by his head still being blue).

I wonder... why'd Ironhide ask Magnus where his hammer was? Why would that be important? Odd...

It keeps it simple for the kids I guess.

He's definitely the most likable character of the Elites. It's almost cute the way he marvels at our little customs.

Not likely. Don't forget we have all the other repaints, like Rescue Ratchet in that disgusting yellow, and Elite Guard Bumblebee in black etc etc and they wont likely be in the show. I'd say Roadbuster Magnus is just a homage to the Roadbuster character and little more.

Riotflea wrote:I wonder... why'd Ironhide ask Magnus where his hammer was? Why would that be important? Odd...

It'll set up that Shockwave has the hammer when he next appears.

I absolutely, guarantee you, that when Shocky shows up again, he'll have the hammer and he'll use it against the 'bots.

If the writers have any sense of justice, Wasp will be the one who'll finish off Shockwave.

Quite possibly the best episode to date. I was thoroughly impressed from beginning to end.

Rock solid.

And it was nice to see Magnus actually give Optimus some credit for once. (It was even better to see him thrashed. He and Sentinel both deserve it. They've had their heads up their rears for so long that they've missed out on a great group of Autobots going above and beyond the call of duty. All by themselves.)

It's a sad shame the show is dying. =\

I told you people that Sari isnt going to be in this season as heavily as she was in the 1st 2 previous seasons.

These last 2 episodes are proof that she may not be in season 3 that much but the season is still young and the reason she my not be in these episodes is because they arent ready to reveal more about her as of yet.

I am hoping she will show up more in 5 Servo's of Doom but I dont know about that one cause it seems to be focusing on Lockdown & Sentinel Prime.

Also there is Predacon Rising this is about Blackarachnia were she conducts an experiment on herself possible the from one of the sketches we have seen but the experiment goes wrong and thus creating the Predacons. Also the reason for the experiment is because she is still obsessed about ridding herself from the technorganic parts.

I suspect that Sari might be in this one and maybe that Blackarachnia will try to use or steal Sari's key away from her once again.

Downtown Black Out is about Megatron sending Black Out to Detroit to keep the Autobots distracted and Black Out drains out the Power from Detroit remember in the episode Transwarped he Jumped Down and it too the Space Bridge offline the he jumped again and it came back online so I suspect that this is a special ability he has or is just the fact of his size.

I cant watch the episode on Youtube cause I am snail express Modem Speed so I have to wait until this Saturday and watch it.

I am hoping I am wrong about Sari not being in Season 3 that much I wanna see what happens if she comes in contact with Megatron what sort of reaction that might bring about.

Also I wanna see more of her in Action and see her kick some more decipticon but.

It's an major improvement over "Three's a Crowd" but my biggest gripe with the episode is that almost all the Autobots come off as a bit dense, espically at the start of Wasp/Bumblebee switch.

It did have some great lines:

Optimus: "How do you put up with him?"
Jazz: "I tune out half of what he says."
Optimus: "Only half?"

Prowl: "Put the hot dog bot down."

Maybe Ultra will return in a later episode to expose Longarm/Shockwave and to eventually get his revenge on him.

He could pop up when he least expect.

You think maybe that Shockwave has his own ambitions of taking over the Decipticons or does he have some other bigger plan in mind.

I think for the time being that Ultra is just in Statis Mode or Just offline to heal up maybe they will heal him up with an Energon or some other means such as Sari's Key.

Nah I dont think he is dead but they are saving him for more important episode or the series finale of season 3.

What is the deal with people saying BB is Waspinator or was Waspinator all along.

I always thought that the 2 were 2 seperate characters now you are saying they are the same exact character.

How does that make since espically during there Autobot Academy days they were there together as seperate beings.

BB mistaken Wasp as the spy and Wasp went nuts.

So what is the deal, like I said I havent watced this episode as of yet cause my slow connection so I have to wait until this saturday unfortunatly.

Well since Rodimus Prime meet his fate at the hands of Cosmis Rust and now Ultra Magnus is out of Action or possible dead I think it only comes down 2 possible choices.

Optimus Prime or Senintel Prime.

Maybe something will also happen to Sentinel Prime also cause it seems to me that the cons are taking out all the leader figures or those who are candidates to become leaders.

This would then leave it up to Optime Prime to eventually become the next Magnus and Supreme Commander of the Autobots.

I dont think that they would go out so far as to make something as crazy to make Sari the leader but hey we dont know yet.

Lets not worry about who is the leader now we will learn that eventually.

Lets just watch more episode this seems to be a vast improvement over last saturday's "Three's A Crowd" episode.

No one even seems to care about Sari being out of action for 2 straight episodes now.

But hopefully she will return in upcoming episodes.

So in this episode

The Twins Make and Appereance
Confusion with BB and Waspinator
Ultramagnus meets his fate at the hand of Shockwave

So if things keep on progressing in this matter then yes I could see them wrapping up Animated during this season.

If it is done right and nothing is left undone such as the origins of Sari I dont really mind that Animated will be ending.

I dont want it to end as I really enjoy it.

But like all good things everything must eventually end.

I just hope that after animated is finished we wont have to wait to long in-between for the next transformers series whatever it will be or what kind of project it will be a Direct-to-DVD deal or once again being back on CN or possibly another network.

Just a few things...

Rodimus may have survived...there's no reason to assume he's dead.

And with an army as vast and organized there may be other Primes in line for the job besides Optimus and Senintel .

all in all a great episode, lots of lose ends finaly tied up making room for some new storylines, probably involving sari's history.

the twins (and their accents) are realy annoying.... i'm talking wheelie level annoying.

explicitly stating that they are the only flying autobots probably means that whe won't get to be seeing a powerglide, a character I would love to have seen getting the animated threatment.

love the 'sentinel not beeing abel to drive in the rain' thing, transformers having troubel coping with earths wheater conditions in something as simple to them as driving....never thought of that, nobody in the fandom had i think :p

Or do they talk sort of like how Jet Fire does in Cybertron he had sort of a British/Scotish accent.

Overall I thought it was a pretty good episode. My only gripe was the way that the twins were portrayed. I know that they're kids and new members to the Elite Guard, but do they really have to follow all of Sentinel Prime's orders and jump to conclusions like him?

I was really shocked to see Ultra Magnus dead. Yes, he was dead. You could tell by the beeping in the background. He'll probably come back though.

Does anyone know where Sari's at?

I am wondering what is wrong myself now that Sari has not been seen in 2 episodes since Transwarped aired.

If she isnt in 5 servos of Doom that would make for 3 episodes with no Sari.

I suspect that they are saving Sari for bigger episodes maybe like
Predacon Rising or Downtown Blackout.

I dont know why Sari hasnt been in seen since Transwarped I am going to contact Derick Wyatt and see if he can explain when Sari is returining and why she has been out of action for 2 episodes in a row now.

True enough, in the TF:A comics it is revealed earlier that there is a cure for Cosmic Rust and that Ratchet knows it.

As for this episode, I may be in the minority here in absolutely adoring the jettwins!

Wasp is still a bit of a question mark for me, but I liked how crazy scary he was in the first scenes with BB in the warehouse.

There is absolutely no reason, thats right, NO REASON to assume Ultra Magnus is dead.

There is no way to know why the back ground beeping came to an end.

Was it because UM dies or was it because the episode ended???

Since they accorded simultaneously theres no way to determine the correct reason.

And I believe its already been established in this series that dead tfs turn grey...UM did not.

Anyone else notice how poorly animated this episode was? I have a feeling that this one was farmed out to another animation company to meet a deadline. There was even an animation error that had Jazz in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Story wise it was a great episode, however.

You're not the only one, I thought they were great too. I was expecting the eastern European accent, so it wasn't off putting for me (unlike Perceptor who I can barely understand) and I thought their action scenes were very cool. Loved how one of them surfed the other.

The Safeguard scene seemed a little weak, I'd have preferred if they saved that for a bigger fight, but eh.

Great episode overall anyway! I'm finding season 3 to be much better than your average season 2 episode, thus far.
