craggy wrote:ooh, Circuit is hideous! I love him! The other two are unsurprising, but appear to be well done, in those modes at least. I'm still grumpy that Hasbro couldn't give us Scourge though.
Right, makes him Car Robot Black Convoy, makes him RiD Scourge, gotcha.
Personally, I think they all look pretty good. Bring on Slipstream and Ultra Mammoth!

I had a custom made using the classics seeker mold some time back which I'm quite happy with.

Even though his toys had marks, Scourge the character still had marks in the cartoon.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Right, makes him Car Robot Black Convoy, makes him RiD Scourge, gotcha.

It was announced way back at BotCon that the free figure for next year would be Depth Charge.tmk9883 wrote:Are these just items only available from TFCC or the free figure(s). If one of them isnt the free one, any idea when that will be announced?

The TFPrime Seeker design is just perfect for Slipstream.
Scourge will be nice, since I acquired Car Robots Black Convoy at Botcon 2012.
Depthcharge brings back my affection for Beast Wars.
Jackpot, because I love seeing Action Master only characters finally getting transformable figures.
Breakdown will go nicely with HTS Dragstrip...
Now if only they'd do Classics versions for the rest of the Stunticons.
And Ultra Mammoth is just plain FUN.

He's next year's convention's free figure.Savage wrote:Depthcharge brings back my affection for Beast Wars.

Hate to break it to you, but there are 4 Scourges: space bathtub ship Scourge, black Optimus repaint Scourge, Transmetal locust Scourge, and 3-headed dragon Scourge.
Personally I think the name "Scourge" fits them all, but whatevers...
I'm kinda disappointed Scourge isn't a retail repaint, but I think that's mostly because he's the 3rd convention/club exclusive use of the mold within a year. That, and the original, being an RtS figure, really didn't get that much saturation in stores around here.

Most importantly - price.

Heh, at this point Scourge could replace his Sweeps with more Scourges.

I really want Scourge, Breakdown, Slipstream. Jackpot will stand in as a Kickoff for Animated, and I'm undecided on Ultra Mammoth. I might just trade him off for a Big Convoy + some extra cash. Circuit's gonna be sold to recover some of the damage.

Nah, he's the membership figure. Pretty happy to get another figure to add to that set of figures.
Circuit and Scourge will be joining the collection. Breakdown is too little too late. FPC gets my money for Classics Stunticons. He's a good choice, a smart one too. Just poor timing on the part of the club. Drag strip is on his way out once those drop too. Animated Jackpot does nothing for me either. The rest I'm certainly planning on getting. Ultra Mammoth is just too cool.

Ultra Mammoth is awesome because next to a Lio Convoy, their proportions will look good. I know Lio Convoy should be next to a Big Convoy and there has been no "Ultra Magnus" type character, but I'm still kind of confused about multiple convoys (especially two beast convoys) existing side by side like they did in the Beast Wars IDW comics. So until I get over that, having this figure next to Lio Convoy is going to be awesome.... btw I'm using Robot Masters Lio Convoy, otherwise the proportions are upsetting..

You do know you have to buy ALL of them, right? You can't pick and choose.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I don't expect to hear anything in the next couple of days. Maybe by the end of the year, if we're lucky.

They were only visible when he used his human bio signature obtained from Kelly to control Fortress Maximus. That may be the reason the Korean version's shoulders were blank.

Kinda like the last SG Botcon set, I think viewed as stand alone characters.... many of these exclusives don't appear jaw-dropping-awesome... but that you have to put them in context with their sets. (ie. like merging the two SG sets)
As a group, I think these would all look odd (as I'm sure they will when they appear photographed together at the end of the year). But you put Depth Charge with the Botcon Beast Wars set, Scourge with Skybyte and Side Burn, Jackpot with Botcon Stunticon set, Breakdown with classics, Slipstream with...
All of a sudden all these will snap into shape quickly.

They were still there, nontheless. The only time there was ever a in the show was during the Saban-made insignia scene transitions.

Actually, with them revealing three in one pop. I'm wondering if the service is now mailing out three in a batch to save on shipping and cut costs? Hmmmm.
All will be revealed.

gothsaurus wrote:How do the Joe exclusives stack up? How many figures, how many shipments per year, how big were the figures and/or vehicles?
Questions questions questions.
1) I don't think they stack up well at all. There's no center balance point where you can put one on top of another. Maybe with glue...
2) There are 12 figures, one per month, plus the 13th membership figure.
3) The figures are standard GI Joe figure size, 3.75 inches I think.
Now before you get into comparative questions (6 TFs vs 12 Joes) please remember that 1 TF probably has as many parts as two of the GI Joe figures. Also each TF is much bigger in height, width and mass than the GI Joe figures.

Yeah, having taken the custom class. Transformers have about twice as many parts as you think they do just looking at them. Quite a mess reassembling them. Had a few people on the verge of tears last year.
