During the travels he showed up in Axiom Nexus in red and blue, but changed to white and gold. And from that body transitioned to the Arms Micron one. (Keeping in mind he's originally from 10,000 years in the future and is doing some time traveling and universe hopping between these bodies).
So yes... different colors. But not necessarily wrong... if you allow for some author intent that probably would never see print.

Still waiting to see the other 'classified members' show up, by the way. (*hint*hint*)

Any reason to not order it from the club directly? I have for the last few Diamond editions. I'm sure there will be copies at Botcon too, if you're attending.

If not, Flux Convoy is correct about the Club offering the issue in the Club Store.

Also what about Wreckers Finale? (Granted I already have a PDF of Wreckers Finale, just thought I'd ask anyway).

I'd just be curious to know what the hang-up on these has been. For the first two, it's possible that they'd been forgotten, but for Wreckers Finale, a slot's even been created.

But would be nice to see the others, and maybe a reissue of the above set because it is very expensive on the secondary market.

I hear you though. New Beachcomber is way overdue, and the Energon one just doesn't work for Classics.

There was the Universe Beachcomber and HFTD Sea Spray. And they probably could just use the Bumblebee mold for Hubcap.

Legion-sized Beachcomber and Voyager-sized (Movieverse) Sea Spray are drastically different from the Generations Legends class size. Their sizes would be all outta whack with the others.RiddlerJ wrote:Sabrblade wrote:But that's only doable for the three on the left. In other news, I think I've finally completed extending the BotCon/TCC fiction list on the front page! EVERYTHING is finally listed!
Though, I do still see some areas of improvement I could make to the list, like some of those bolded black ones aren't all "unknown" or necessarily "unimportant" continuities (some of them are part of their own grouped continuity, or part of other known continuities that I couldn't fit into the color code), and some of the ones lacking in links might be out there on the Internet somewhere and I just haven't found them to link to them yet.
I also think I could possibly add all the issue numbers to each piece magazine fiction to help make them easier to find than by just going by the release date.
And I'm sure there's other little improvements I could make to the list as well, and would be open to suggestions on how make said improvements, but for now, I'm finally all caught up.

I, too, have a personal preference for the more visual forms of Transformers storytelling, but it's hard to deny that most of the prose stories are pretty good (I can name a few clunkers, as I'm sure others could if they wanted to, but I find the gems far outweigh those).

I would personally recommend the Shattered Glass prose, although if you're not a fan of the Shattered Glass concept that may not appeal. In that event, I would suggest any of the current "Beast Wars: Uprising" stuff, which typically has the advantage of being a touch shorter, but I still prefer the SG stuff.

Thanks, I'll throw those into my short story queue. Although I'm typically not crazy about mirrorverses, Shattered Glass seems to have grown a bit beyond that (SG Soundwave seems to be quite a bit beyond a simple mirror Soundwave, for instance). I'd forgotten I'd read Burning Bridges from Uprising, which had its strong points, but the basic concept behind Uprising hasn't clicked with me yet.G.B. Just got done reading it. I do enjoy that these are a bit shorter. Easier to read in one sitting. This one... well, it's designed to time-skip, but I still felt that there was a chunk in the middle missing.
Still, worth the read. I look forward to the next one.

Still a well done story though, although some aspects felt a bit artificial when trying to play him up as badass.
I wonder if the stuff about him keeping that head in his torso might lead in to the Combiner fiction (although he does discard the noggin later).

I guess we'll see, but it seems that the description how his chest opens up is incompatible with how the toy actually works
