So he's allignedwith the Predacon faction. Would've been neat if they combined the Predacon and Vehicon faction symbols.
A little bummed that the right insect eye is yellow, but I can get over it.

Now where's the Chromedome pics, FunPub??? It's almost 9/15, and I've yet to see the entire gang!
Oh, and is the 7th figure going to remain a mystery till the very end??? I feel like that will inevitably just disappoint the majority of us, as we'll have higher expectations that will be impossible to fulfill.
Is 7th going to be a scout? That would narrow down the possibilities... but I'd be pretty disappointed if it was another Rewind tank. (I really don't care to have matching pairs like that, and would prefer to see HEINRAD! )

I think it would have been cool if Thrustinator were to have sported this insignia:Mindmaster wrote:So he's allignedwith the Predacon faction. Would've been neat if they combined the Predacon and Vehicon faction symbols.
After all, DoFP Razorclaw's future was post-BM (post-Universe War, even), just as this guy seems to be.

More than likely the 7th figure won't be revealed until it comes out after all six of the main figures (unless something gets leaked).Metrosuplex wrote:Oh, and is the 7th figure going to remain a mystery till the very end??? Its size class is also a mystery, but it'll most likely be no larger than a Deluxe, no smaller than a Scout.

Last time, on Beast Machines... Poor Waspinator. Stuck in bikerbot's body. Nobody missed Waspinator. Then, everything changed. Everyone was happy. Except poor Waspinator. No glory. No power. Never gets what he wants. Or does he?
Waspinator has new body! But has to share with bikerbot. But that's ok. Because together, THRUSTINATOR has planzzz! And you all will see them real soon!

So would this mean he's a combination of Thrusts' and Waspinator's personalities? I can imagine him speaking with both voices spliced together

That said, for a wild card — and if you HAVE to throw a Beast Wars character into the set — I'm glad it's an obscure Japanese mold. That's cool. Since I have those four, I guess I'm destined to get this one as well... in spite of it looking a bit wild and awkward.
Looks better in bee mode. Picture it with the big laser folder onto the back instead. (that was possible, right?)

That was the most unhelpful response ever, Sabr! Wow! I feel like balloons and confetti should be dropping on your head for the achievement!
I guess I remember the details just fine: FunPub is not doing a Voyager this year (for the TFSS2.0), and they mentioned what they ship depends on overall weight (I believe), and hence why I thought they said somewhere that it would be 2 Scouts instead of one Voyager.
However, the 3 microns might be the extras for the decreased weight of not having a Voyager.
Nonetheless, I can't help but think the 7th will be a Scout, guaranteed, and I'm just not down for a freebie like that - I think it will disappoint.
Actually.... I've got the answer: WEIGHT. I believe the microns ship with their deluxe pairing, so presumably, they do not add much weight (not enough to be considered the "extra" weight). A Voyager weighs more than a deluxe, though, and as it gets shipped on its own, we can assume that at least one shipment would be of "voyager weight". Ergo, the last shipment (with bonus figure) would most likely fit that description.
SOOOOOO... it comes down to what weighs as much as 1 Voyager? 2 Deluxes or 1 Deluxe & 1 Scout. If someone has a scale and wants to check this, that would be grand. Scouts and some deluxes are pretty close in size, so there could be size factors...
My guess is freebie scout, and most likely the second tape/tank pairing to Rewind. Which would be lame. This is kind of making or breaking my decision to buy.

Even the sharpest of blades will eventually dull?
I feel like this site would benefit from more smart-ass responses like yours.

The legs appear to be mistransformed in the mock-up image. Like all uses of this mold, they are supposed to be like this:

They're not quite sticking out, but rather are like the "knees" of the bug legs.GuyIncognito wrote:Are the robot feet supposed to stick out like that in alt mode, or is it mis-transformed in this pic?

Aww, that's a bummer .
Thanks by the way for listing out all of the announced TFSS figures so far for me. I still wish there were a single thread pinned here on the site containing that info though. Maybe the forum gods (Ryan?) will hear my pleas and decide to make it happen. It sure would make keeping track and deciding whether or not to sign up for the subscription service a LOT easier than having to dig through countless threads and news articles.

Justm whatever they do, please just don't merge seven TFSS threads into one conglomerate like you guys have in the past, its really congusing where the new new stuff starts and the old news ends.

Agreed, I definitely don't want that. Basically all I'd like to see is one new thread created with the first post looking something like what Sabrblade posted with all the info we know about each of the subscription figures so far (e.g. the character name, bio, 1 pic of it in each mode if applicable etc.). These individual news threads should be kept separate to allow discussion of each of the figures on its own.

Sort of, but not something that just gets posted to the homepage for a day or so. I'm thinking something that stays pinned in the forums here until it's time to sign up for the next subscription service. I want a resource for people like me who might be on the fence about whether or not to join this year and want to weigh the pros and cons by being able to easily assess everything being offered up to this point for the service.
Just a single post stickied here in the toys forum containing the list of figures with pics, bios etc. that gets updated whenever you guys get new info.

It's pretty much got everything that's been posted about all of the figures thus far.
All that's really missing from it are the head renders and such.

Nope I prefer a waspinator with his whole body...
this is why I am going to grab the generations one and forget I ever saw that Thrustinator...
but I want a generations version of Thrust, though

Would be nice...
But anyone else against the Wheeljack body??? I mean, I don't really love that mold. It's too stocky, and the head is buried in the body... I don't know, I just think it's a terrible design/mold for a character like Wheeljack or anyone else (who isn't a big, dumb bruiser).
Vote YES to Referendum 2626: more TF neck.
(Dead End looks a lot slicker in that mold - very Terrorcon).

To be fair, Prime WJ is a bit of a bruiser, though he's also a ridiculously good mechanic.

Besides, Wheeljack's alternate mode works much better than Bumblebee, Knock Out, Smokescreen, and the Vehicons. Assuming they were restricted to Prime molds.

Because it's all in separate articles etc. and you have to click on each to see the details. Like I said, I want it all in a single resource to assess the set as a whole.
There's also the fact that THIS is the site I go to for my Transformers news, not the club. Even when the news is about the club itself.

And if they keep using at least one Japanese Beast Wars mold per subscription batch, it can only get better. Maybe repaint fellow Cyber-Beast Thrustor all silver to represent the Cyber Raptors from 'Cutting Edge'...though that'd be a troop-builder, and therefore more appropriate being released as such at Botcon.
I'd also like to see Archadis with plumage in completely different colors. I love that mold, but it seemed a shame that in the first wave of BM deluxe Dinobots, Airraptor was the only one without a major color scheme change; mostly gold just lightened to yellow, and I hate gold because it makes me think of photodegredation and urine, so Archadis is ironically one of the few JBW toys I haven't been willing to shell out for.
Actually, most of the BW Neo Destron molds could have new character possibilities after AofE. Granted, a few of them have been repainted to death by Hasbro already.
