I appreciate the effort that goes into something like this but it doesn't interest me. I wish third party's would focus on making Characters we don't already have.

You mean the WFC version? Unless I'm mistaken, this would be the G1 cybertronian mode. The elongated saucer thing?Powermaster Jazz wrote:Talk about ridiculous. We already got a Cybertronian BB and CJ

Not that this doesn't look great. But there's just too much that I want out there between the new MPs ALONE.

Yeah HasTak aren't the only ones that make stupid ass decisions on what figures to produce, clearly 3rd Party groups have their share of brain-farts.

So then there it is!

If it were a Hasbro product, all the haters would jump on the bandwagon and add it to their collection of 101 different Bumblebees.

Above, it was mentioned that this may not be the WFC Bumblebee, but it may represent the first toy with Bumblebee's More than Meets the Eye Part 1 mode. If this is the case my feelings on this figure change greatly.

Now for all those of you who think this is a 3rd party piece bound for mass release and who decided to dump all over it...I'm impressed by your arrogance but contrary to popular belief you are not the center of the universe and are likely not the intended target purchaser for this figure so your rude comments were utterly selfish and pointless.

Prototype for this 'War Within' Bumblebee looks pretty cool, though it'd be better without the flap behind the head!
Then again, this is the prototype, so hopefully that problem will be resolved if this figure gets released!

In fairness, though, it wouldn't be $100 if it were made by Hasbro.
Not that I dumped on it, but ...

I really don't think it would be $100 (assuming this is even coming). We've been seeing it a lot, but there's been small voyager or better, two-packs (albeit a little high for 3rd party scouts), and another Arcee because every damn Arcee has been 100+.

Edit: I just noticed that the hips could be flipped the other way around judging by the joint they're on. Since when did fan companies start mis-transforming their own stuff?

Vicalliose wrote:Pretty good looking. Always love designs from war within, hell the best thing a fan company could do for me is do some justice to Optimus from War Within, which FP is coming comfortably close to. But we already have a bazillion BBs on the market. What's the point in this?
You want a War Within Optimus Prime? At least you already have the option of a WW OP made by Hasbro. The point is that fans want a WW/Cybertronian Bumblebee, and Hasbro isn't likely to tackle it. And they certainly won't touch a Volkswagen version. So G1 Bumblebee fans can only hope for 3rd parties to offer these versions, and therefore those versions are obviously the best way for a 3rd party to take advantage of a fan-favorite, money-making character.

Just saying, as many have pointed out, people other than yourself are getting tired of dropping a ton of cash every time a fan company drops the same character on us again. Also I wouldn't touch Hasbro's war within prime with a ten foot pole. That aside, Prime is obviously a common and un-neaded character as well, I just personally really liked his design the most out of all of 'em.

Now what say we find out whose making it and if it's coming out. I don't follow customizers beyond transtopia, but I don't think they generally send "teasers".

Then why bother posting about it? Why are you even on the 3rd Party board? Me? I don't want it but I'm not about to start throwing online trust issues unrelated to the item into the discussion.

I was going to say something along the lines of "Thanks for the paranoid interwebs rant Grandma", but your statement is better. Exactly, if the poster is all "conspiracy theory" about online stores and not buying 3rd party stuff, why are they here?

I wouldn't necessarily agree, but that's because I'm used to seeing War Within, IDW's ongoing series and have seen the first episode of G1 SO many times. To me, it looks pretty darn good, but its only in the sculpt state, let's see what it looks like painted, eh?

Yea this is pretty cool, it's not as accurate as I would want it, but I'll stay updated on this.

*I* don't, but from a good number of people's reactions: yes.
I do think the one from this thread is the best representation More Then Meets the Eye bumblebee yet.
And name one character who needs new molds *more* than our favorite underrepresented Bumblebee.

Getting Wonderfest exclusive garage kits isn't exactly easy, nor is making them I assume, so yeah, it'd be nicer if there were more.
