Thanks to several users and anonymous tips, we can tell you that Titans Return Leader Soundwave is now up at Hasbro Toy Shop for $44.99. You can find him HERE and you can use the current CYBER2016 coupon code to get him for 25% off!
The other big set of news is that HTS must really want rid of its Fortress Maximus stock, as he is now on sale for $74.99, half price! Now, we must tell you that this deal is in flux, such as when the G2 combiner sets went on sale and came in and out of stock at very rapid rates, so keep a sharp eye tuned to the store and you can get yourself or someone you love an awesome Titanic-sized present! You can find Fort Max HERE!!

Why are figures so darn expensive does no one get that more people are willing to buy stuff when it doesn't cost one their darn grocery's and other necessities?

I'm sure plenty of people bought it at the retail price. Some people are impatient. Others don't want to take the risk of these things going out of stock and then having to pay inflated after market prices.
Then there's us... the bargain hunters.
Still $100 at TFsource and maybe Amazon?

I almost bought Soundwave last night, but before he came in stock I spent $200 on myself and Christmas presents. and then he's gone

Probably more a space issue - need to make room for new product.

Why would you get it from the states if you are in canada? Do you have a buddy it would ship to what you go visit regularly by car? Because if not then it would not been a deal at all. Shipping to Canada would have been an easy $50-70 USD, making the product the same as if you bought it from amazon.ca yesterday: http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ada/36818/

Because it's expensive to manufacture in terms of both materials and labor, and as a large item it costs a lot to ship to the warehouse, and every step along the way from the factory to your house requires someone to get paid. So an item that costs ~$40 in materials ends up with a retail price of $150 to cover all those costs. When they sell it at $75, they're barely scraping a profit from it, or maybe they're even selling it at a loss (relative to how much it costs them to stock) to clear space.

Pays to be patient though I doubt I'll be all that patient with Trypticon if he's done right. Ft Maxx and Metroplex I waited till they were on sale. But Tryp he'll likely be a day one pre-order.

Absolutely no friggin' clue what gimmick that could be though. Then again, not like the name Titans Return would immediately make you think Headmasters.
From the Machinima Combiner Wars thread, since we got news on two more Prime Wars machinima instalments.

This is really odd to me. How one area of the states could be completely ignored. In canada, everything is pretty much equal. The warehouse gets a shipment, it is divided up in weighted averages to stores across the country and sends it out. Specific areas or stores are rarely ignored.

Hasbro evidently shipped out ALL of their wave 2 stock, so the problem lies not with them. And Apeface has been readily available in my area for a few weeks now. Where do you live? Have you checked your sightings forum?

But you can get him Prime with free shipping whereas BBTS you have to pay for shipping. Store is luck-based.

The OP that turns into a flying Pringle's can is a pass but I'm still hopeful for Octane and the Takara version of the new Meg's is a possibility "IF" his paint job is more G1 accurate and no cheap @ss stickers. Blitzwing isn't that much of a priority since the Thrilling 30's version still fits the bill.
Posted by RodimusRex on November 30th, 2016 @ 4:40pm CST
13 Primes? Maybe. But I'm half-expecting some kind of updated Cyber-Key functionality where you can plug a Matrix into different characters and Matrix "upgrades" for more characters.
Bumblebee had a couple of later identities alluded to in Devastation. Maybe he gets the "Matrix of Speed" and becomes Race Welder.
Rodimus could be up for a new Rodimus Prime.
But my guess is that the new gimmick is that a ton of other Matrices are discovered and almost everybody gets a Matrix and becomes a Prime.

Many of us are fairly certain Takara will not be releasing Blitzwing as Megatron just like they did not release Astrotrain as Sentinel Prime. Some of us are completely certain Takara will not be releasing Blitzwing as Megatron. Takara just doesn't do that. They don't need to because they don't have standard pricing like Hasbro does so they don't need to release multiple versions of the same mold. Your best bet will be Reprolabels releasing a sticker set to correct Hasbro's sticker issues.

The h3ll are you talking about....?

He's due out in January, 2017 according to BBTS. I pre-ordered early for like $45.99 as opposed to the 54.99 they currently have him for. The Triple changers are the initial reason for these molds. OP, Meg's and Sentinel are clearly pre-molds released early to get more bang for their (HasTak) buck.

It sound like I misunderstood which bots he saying aren't going to be released but who says they're not releasing a Transformers Legends Sentinel Prime eventually? Takara releases more repaints than you both a willing to give them credit for (especially with Voyager class). 1 new mold out of 4 Deluxe "United Warriors" per wave does not win that argument. Takara to me is known for correcting Hasbro's cheap shortcuts when they make their versions. They don't ignore them completely. Which is why I'm sure they'll eventually make Prime and Meg's at least.
But as far as Megatron goes. Henkei Megatron is still my go to Megatron
Guess we'll see if that changes.

Megatron and Optimus Prime already have a representation or look-a-like in the line (Galvatron's Headmaster, Super Ginrai), so those uses are easily skipped for main retail. Exclusives are a different story, however Infinitus is seeing use in other figures (Convobat, Leo Prime), rendering the chance of a proper Japanese Sentinel Prime relatively slim.
