Tom Hanks wants to be Optimus Prime!

At the recent premiere of the movie Raise Your Voice, which stars young actress Hilery Duff, Eric Blair of Inland Empire Strikes Back caught up with none other than actor/director Tom Hanks, asking him if he will be involved with the upcoming Transformers movie!
Jokingly, the actor, who first made his Transformers statements about Transformers cities in the movie BIG and years later sang the Transformers theme on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, said that he is holding out for the part of Optimus Prime! Then sang the Transformers theme again. But then he responded that he had not yet been contacted regarding the movie. When asked if he would want to be part of the movie, Hanks responded "I can see there being a place... There are some questions that can only be answered by the Transformers in the movie market place. You bet!".
