Today is the FINAL day to sign up for the TFSS 3.0 and we have one last little story surprise to go along with the amazing toy offerings. Check out the attached flyer for what fans can expect to see when it comes to THE 1980's CLASSIC version of everyone's favorite Decepticon... Starscream!
(New art included!)
People can signup for the TFSS 3.0 here.
UPDATE: New revised closing date
Hello all,
We have had several request to extend the deadline for those members who get paid on Friday. The new order deadline is Monday at 5pm Central Time. Don't wait until the last minute and miss these great figures!
In addition, please note that even if you subscribed to version 2.0 you are NOT automatically included in version 3.0. Each subscription set is its own process so if you want these great figures, you must subscribe again.
Thanks to all of you who have already subscribed!
Please note that this time we will not be ordering any extra figures beyond those for damage replacement. This means that very few may/may not make it in the store.
The service is available to anyone who is a member of the Transformers Collectors’ Club. The cost of this figure subscription service is $297 (plus shipping). You can pay all at once or in 3 installments. The 6 toys that make up the TFSS 3.0 are: KROK, NACELLE, TARANTULAS, CARZAP, SERPENT O.R. and G2 STARSCREAM. In addition to that you will receive a BONUS 7th figure to be mailed out with your final shipment.

Freaking stupid. But it could have been worse. They could have put marissa as one of the 3.0 figures or as the freebie. That would have really pissed me off.
I'm not into Joe stuff, but I don't mind Joe homages as long as they're actual Transformers. They would never (I hope) put Marissa Fairborn in the Subscription Service, just like they wouldn't put the SDCC versions of Barroness/Ravage, Hound, Jetfire, or that Joe-scale Bludgeon into the TFSS. But if it transforms...

After all was said and done, there was a LOT of win this year. Some great Generations molds, great characters, fun bonus microns and solid extra figure. I mean heck... we got an extra combining "Wrecker" for the team, three IDW characters, Barricade (whose paint scheme looks amazing in person), an action master, and a fan-favorite beast character who is so odd and wild we'd never get it from Hasbro.
Hats off for a great year! See you in 3.0, FanPub/TFCC!

I did forget how un-fun this mold is though. No biggie, I have the United Rumble/Frenzy pack so it was a known factor.

Eject is from Beast Wars: Uprising?!!!
Totally did not see that coming.

So the same mold, but:
- Rewind is from a universe leeching off of Primax 1002.19 Gamma (aka IDW-verse)
- Eject is from Primax 209.0 Gamma (aka Beast Wars Uprising).
How funny. I wonder if the other exists in the universe of the one.

What's kinda sad is that this makes Eject not just a fanatic about any old sports, but specifically of gladiatorial combat.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:So the same mold, but:

Two of the same tank turret, and two of the same connector that links the shoulder to the torso. In other words, he has a permanently lopsided looking turret and one of the shoulders won't hold in place. They're letting me exchange it and didn't give a fuss about it, still annoying but at least they're making it right.

The Club has been extraordinarily good with replacing things for me over the last couple years.
-Scourge had two left arms, so they sent me a replacement arm.
-One of Rampage's head spikes was snapped off, so they sent me a new head.
-The Transmutate box cover was full of unslighty air bubbles, so they sent me a better condition one.
-One of Stylor's leg connectors was mal-formed, so they sent a second Stylor.
And often times, they'll let you keep the faulty one you have. Really top notch customer service, in my experience (although I am sure others might disagree).

A retool in fact, he has a new head. Here's a little bit of trivia: The Axelerators and Skyscorchers had simpler alternate names in Europe, Windbreaker was simply called "Zap" in the UK. It's those UK names that the Japanese names for the Block Town repaints were based on, in this case "Carzap". Same goes for the G2 Laser Rods.
Oh,ok. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like other Club members, the staff gets the same email announcements from the Club itself. Since the Club is the primary source, the staff tends to prefer crediting the original source and doing so when said original source gives them the info.Bounti76 wrote:Not to be picky....a lot....but I emailed the news staff about this almost 24 hours ago....did I email the wrong address (news@seibertron (dot) com)?

Sorry, I should have specified that I was talking about U.S. retail. No one seems to have submitted a news item with photo that it's been found in the U.S.

Issue 60 of the TCC Magazine will be hitting mailboxes very soon. Some GREAT features this issue! Jim Sorenson concludes the 30th anniversary article series with a look at the Aligned Universe. We have Part 2 of the Unreleased Generation 2 feature. Lord Imperious Delirious and his Destructons go toe to toe with Rampage and Transmutate in the final story chapter of "Alone Together”. Oh, and oh yeah, EVERYTHING you thought you knew about the last ten years CHANGES!

Not likely since these designs are the original designs of the Destructons from the Blackthorne comics and not based on any toys. The Destructons don't transform, either. They're featured here since they've been pivotal characters in this year's six-part Club magazine comic story "Alone Together".Va'al wrote:Recently tweeted from the official Transformers Collectors' Club account is the cover image for the 60th issue of their magazine. And who does it feature? The Destructons. Check out the mirrored image below, and let us know what you make of it - could there be toys in the Club's plans for the future?

Looks like repurposed G Gundam designs to me.
No centaurs in G Gundam (just a horse), but there were some samurai centaurs in Gundam Kiba-Musha.
