Transformers Dark of the Moon announcement trailer now online!

I honestly don't see how he could be Alpha Trion. All he has is the mustace. Everything else looks just like G1 Sentinel Prime. It has to be a Prime, his face looks just like Optimus's! Look, they have the same nose and everything!!!

I thought that the trailer was great. My anticipation for this movie has just gone way up.

Is the music they played during it from another movie or is it new?

In the Bay-verse aren't all the Primes dead (except for Optimus?)

You know, it could also be Unicron, no? Obviously not at planet scale, but wouldn't put it past Bay to bring him down to scale somehow.

Yeah, I can't argue with that.

Knowing Bay's previous record my best guess is that the "Mustachio" is really Wreck-Gar

and the mustache and brownish orangish goldish color, and all the buzzsaws in his eyeball....

No doubt the 'bot at the end was Alpha Trion. Looks better as an old fart like that Uguay character from Kung-Fu Panda and colored maroon/cobalt. He has an interesting design, however. Can't wait to see more of DOTM. And it's only 30 days before from my birthday too!

The more I watch this, the more I think that the ship is full of Scourge clones (Sweeps). The gold one at the end is Scourge. And the fly through his eye is a hint. As the camera pans through the misc stuff transforming, it stops at what looks like another eye. But if you notice, it kinda looks like Unicron in planet mode - jagged teeth, maw and gold ring around it.

A hint that Unicron is coming after his heralds...

Maybe I'm looking at it too closely, but one possibility.

He has blue eyes, so he has to be an Autobot. I also wonder if the ship is the Ark.

It's Sentinel Trion! Or Alpha Prime. That's actually a nice picture of AT. Looks like a friggin' assassin in that little face cloth thing on his face of beard-ness.
