Probably for people who got frustrated with trying to get to lvl 25 and stopped playing, so now they'll come back.
I'm still waiting for some way to get G1 Prime for free, I refuse to pay $10!! Let him be something you can buy with the in-game credit!!
I'm also waiting for the destroyer class to add a cassette special, where if you pick soundwave's body you can deploy Ravage and such for your special ability (and for the other characters they can be mini cons).

Soundwave's ability made his brief playable stage frighteningly easy. Throw that in multi it breaks the game.

no need to get hysterical about it. The multiplayer community is probably in decline, the game has been out for some time and they probably want to retain the gamers they still have. Im sure this is a massive blow to the ego of a lot of gamers, and will provoke an angry response, but its double XP, not free DLC, not free money and they havent destroyed anybodies childhood.

That's the problem, I'm not a gamer! I played it because It's Transformers! It isn't ego! I die far too often. I worked the old rear off, just to get Prime! If it was double to begin with, making it fair for all, I'd say nothing at all. Now the hard work is a free give away in my opinion. I'll play regardless just to get better, and have fun with friends, but I'll still feel the same. That's like slaving at a job for 10 years for minimum wage for some 18 year old who knows nothing about life, fresh out of high school to just step in with no knowledge of how to do the job and make $25 an hour while you stay at minimum wage. Screw that! Call me old fashioned, but before this Prime was earned. I'll respect the old guys, long before I will the guys earning it easy.

The only time i get to play video games now is just during the weekends when my wife is stil asleep. I normally wake up around 930-10 and I play video games till my wife wakes up which is around 1230-100. See I have a full time job and grown up responsibilities. (Ie mortage and other grown up bill)

If I'd played FoC for only half the time, I'd have missed loads of awesome moments of gaming awesomeness and feats of skill, and I'm not necessarily talking about my own.

No, the multiplayer is somewhat lively. My group, Cybertron's Elite, and I play Fall of Cybertron pretty often, and there's always enough players to pit us against.

Megatron Wolf wrote:well its official they're never going to patch it, wasted $60 on this game thats for sure. If anyone wants to team up to work on trophies feel free to pm me, want to get the platinum so i can sell this & put the money towards Aliens Colonial Marines.
You measure value of a game to the amount of time you play to get achievments?
It's an awesome game with a fun multiplayer, story, characters etc. How could that be a waste of 60 usd? Which game do you actually enjoy and think is worth 60$?

jrgreer74 wrote:In response to Sodan-1. It took me longer because like Duo, I have responsibilities, and I'm not a gamer. I don't play games for hours on end, day after day. Longer yes, but in shorter times actually playing, like Duo. I can appreciate Duo's side, because he earned his too, though he isn't finished. I can appreciate your side, being it is pretty boring playing the same maps time after time, but you have also earned yours. My previous posts must not of explained enough detail for the point to be reached. My point - If you played it and ranked up, being finished completely or not, before this update- You earned it, it wasn't given away. Congrats!!! If someone goes out today and buys it, and two days from now is elite, they got there only by double xp. Therefore they didn't truly earn it, guys like Duo did, you did, I did. Is that so hard to get? No disrespect to you at all, or to anyone, but a cheat is a cheat, and double xp is a cheat. For the record, I just made Prime last week, so yes this week I'm a little upset. If this would of happened two or three months ago, I'd be clapping too. I could of spent more time with the family and lived up the double xp. My question is why does my comment offend so much, I never post anything in these forums, go look 10 things in all these years, but I state my opinion and everyone pounces? Maybe I should return the favor every time someone cries that Hasbro didn't add enough paint! Now that is crazy! Now you know why I don't say anything at all.
Easy fella. I didn't mean to "pounce" on you for your comment. I apologise if you felt I was singling you out to pick on, but you simply struck me as the strongest voice against this double XP forever. Like I said, I can appreciate your position and how you may feel cheated of your time, especially when gaming does not comprise a significant portion of your life. Mucho props for maxing out your PRIME mode, and I thank you for the praise you offer me for my levelling up, even though it equates to less than half the work and time you've put in. I haven't taken major issue with your comments (so, again, apologies if that's how it seemed) but I do disagree. Surely there's nothing wrong with that.
I just think it's a bit harsh to call anyone only now starting out on the multi-player modes cheaters because of something they can't control. The options they have is to either earn double XP or not play the multi-player game at all. What if some kid has had to wait until now to get this game as a birthday present or has only just gained the ability to go online? It's a bit unfair if he's immediately bombarded with everyone calling him a cheater because of what Activision and High Moon decided to do. And they're not exactly giving the Elite status away. Players will still have to earn it. They just won't gain the same amount of experience and wisdom you have.

NO endgame content at all. You just keep playing in vain and for the sake of leaderboard vanity.

maroyasha wrote:I have not noticed a difference. Unless the day I finally opened my game it changed. Because I got mine like right when january started. I had the usual 400 XP per kill. Still not at Prime Though. But I rarely get frustrated. Cause well, it's all part of the game. You gotta lose to find the way to win is what I say. The XP in my opinion is not that way.
Yeah, you got it right when it started. It used to be 200 XP per kill.
This is super old news; why are people still in shock?
