Yes.

The worst thing they did was introduce an Ironhide that had 500 million hit points and required on average 500 people to take down (you could invite allies even if you didn't spawn the boss) and everyone got 20,000 points for it which made moving on the leaderboard pointless because everyone was getting a share.

And now they've thrown out a Ultra Magnus card. *sigh* Bastards.

That's kinda the point behind it, you get it for free, play it, have fun, get invested in it that you want to spend money on it.
I mean what did you expect they gotta earn money someway.

There's making money ... but then there's also being blatant rip-offs.

Given how much you have to invest to get those cards, you could use that money on a console game which can be played on a bigger screen, with other people, and generally give you a much better gaming experience.

If they lowered their costs they'd get more people investing and playing.

And all of that is irrelevant as most people are reluctant to invest these days due to the alleged hacking and cheating that they continue to do nothing about.

I wouldn't mind dropping the coin on this game, if there actual physical cards involved. Hell I do that already with yugioh. Because at least that way I'd have something physical to show for it, not just a bunch of 0s and 1s. its the same reason I don't buy DLC for video games.

That being said, the artwork for this game is gorgeous, I'd love to see it make the jump to a physical game. and would Play/Collect the Hell out of it

:BOOM: I hate to be that guy but....you know what, nevermind. :BANG_HEAD:

I think I'm going to call it a career on this game now. At this point, I don't know how any normal person isn't insulted by the blatant money grab this game has become. $30 for a Magnus card!? Maybe I'm living in my own little world but $30 for a tiny piece of DLC seems extremely overpriced. How does $30 not buy the Rodimus card? I mean, Jesus, $30 should buy you so much more in a stupid cell phone game than I card that will only be good for 6 days. Ok, I'll be generous and say 14 days but thats it. The cards have a life cycle of about 2 episodes. By the 3rd episode, they are completely out-classed, wasting any money and effort that it took to get them.

Secondly, how can players not be insulted by the so soon re-use of the Cyclonus and Scourge characters? Last time you had to pay for them (I didn't get them), this time you can earn cards just as good (better?) for free. Thusly, any money spent to obtain those cards a couple events back just got pissed on.

And thirdly, how can you not be insulted by the fact that despite how much money this game seemingly makes off of the lemmings who continue to dump money into it, the game still lags like crazy and still randomly force closes itself from time to time. Sometimes I have to open the app 3 times before it actually stays open and plays. Where the hell is the money going?

I may play out this event just so I can burn through the resources that I spent the effort saving. After that, I think this Mobage scrap will be coming off of my phone. It was nice playing with you guys. Too bad it didn't end better.

I'm likely on the same path. This game's interest level is winding down for me.

Now if somebody snatches up all that art and finds some way to make a tangible product out of it, be it cards or a book or something, I'll buy them/it in a heartbeat.

When I first started to play this game on the last couple days I would get request to help battle the higher cards now I only get request to battle low end cards. I've battled Galvatron 3 times so far and I was under the 1k mark on the ranking system. Now I'm in the 2k and all I battle is cyclonus. I've beaten I don't know how many cyclonus and I can't get above over a level 5 cyclonus it's bullshit. Also I didn't pay to get my ultra Magnus but I did pay $10 and got rodimus alt mode with 10x.

They keep changing up the conditions on how the boss cards generate. Mostly it's based on your rank, the higher your rank, the higher the bosses, the lower your rank, the lower the bosses.

I was in the top 1000 but lack of time and the time zone, oh and their stupid ally request system saw me drop into the 3000's this morning. I haven't bothered to play since.

I agree with you there. When you can't get a significant card, or significant rewards without spending money, well, I get better things to spend, or not spend my money on.

The card art is as always spectacular.

Printed cards would be awesome.

Triple changers with two alt mode cards to trans scan also should be appearing as should combined combiners.

Combiners would be EPIC.

But your idea of printed cards is more solid. I miss the days of good art in card form. Back before everything became CG and card games. I would buy a set of good TF cards by the team behind this game! :x

But I'm pretty done with this TF mobile game, so I'm not going to see much of the new stuff. Like everyone said, the rewards are few unless you pay.

This game feels like gambling to me. I understand funding the developers and paying for their work... but at this point, I feel a $60 game would be the better bargain. This game simply requires too much money to be invested to get anywhere at all.

The few level 4 cards I got are pretty worthless without the corresponding alt mode or robot mode. And the level 3 cards they give away like cheap candy are pretty weak. :-x

The only time I spend money is if I want an episode card and its the first 100 point one I try but $30 for ultra Magnus is nuts. I pull LV3 cards like nothing and they are pretty worthless these days if ur team isn't made up of all LV4 cards and at least one LV5 card it's pretty week. Since I started to play I pulled about 10 lv 4 cards from my gold medals. I've cashed in about 10k gold medals if not more. Once ur team is strong enuf to defeat the first 2 cards in an episode it's easy to stack up on cubes and battle cubes. If u don't like an episode play till u have to use more than 1 cube a battle than wait till the next episode. I can usually stack over 100 battle cubes b4 I have to use more than one to beat a card. U really only have to spend money if ur team is weak or u want an episode card.

Too much grinding if u dont pay to win. It takes HOURS of repetitive battles if u have lvl3 cards like me. Even more hours to get free lvl4 cards randomly. I find doing almost anything else much more rewarding.

I got most of my lv 4 cards for episodes and when I cash in my gold medals I get lv3 cards like its my job lol. I've already collected all lv 1 2 and 3 cards but lv 4 cards are hard to get but I did just pull a lv 4 jet fire but he's not that good of a card.

Well, I forgot to play the Galvatron event last week. I didn't want to retire with over 500 battle cubes and energon refills just sitting. I earned those afterall, so I might as well use them.

I've been going after it pretty hard, spending cubes like they are going out of style. This is the earliest I've ever gotten into the top 1000 in all of the episodes that I've participated in.

My cube total peaked at 580. So I've been throwing 1 and 2 cubes around like nobody's business, trying to get MVP on every boss I encounter. I feel a bit like Oprah: "You get a cube and you get a cube and you get a cube! Everyone gets a cube!"

We'll see what happens when the big Bee starts showing up. It would be nice to go out in a blaze of glory and beat my top finish, which was somewhere in top 400, I think. Good luck to all of you who are all in.

I hate how you can never get the back half of an event card after the event. I got the Bonecrusher robot mode during Heavy Metal War, but can now never complete the pair. They should make it possible to pick up the other halves from medal cash ins during a different event. Even if it's like months down the line, just knowing I could eventually finish off these sets would make me happy.
And I mean for the point rewards cards, not ones that people are paying for. Or maybe if there was a way to give me a chance to get rank rewards cards I'm missing via random draw. Like I've got robot Cosmos, but not space ship Cosmos. I'm not asking for a randomly drawn event Omega Supreme, just the other half to this one that I did "earn" in the event.

That being said, all I wanted in the Galvatron event was Gnaw, and I got him, and this time out all I want is bug mode for Barrage.

I just got back from a long vacation with no cell signal. I see I missed out on the galvatron rodimus event so that sucks. Also, it appears they have been fixing and patching a bunch of items to make the game better, except they keep avoiding that one big fix to lower all the prices or make the cards available through trading and the space bridge.

I'm only logging in to build cubes every now and then in hopes for a better game future. Until they add trading or somehow make a way to complete the cyberdex that isn't horribly expensive, I'm done playing.

Hope everyone else has fun, I'll check the forum every now and then.

Im done. They finally broke it for me. I had a total of 11 help requests during the final hour of the event, 4 of which worth 2500 xp or less. I was at 1100 all day long waiting for the rush to begin, and I got dicked on the help requests which makes no damn sense at all considering the allies I have. Cant spawn any of my own high point bosses, cant get any high point boss help requests, fuck you mobage im out.

Very cool graphic and I like the one sided helmet. He's not a 100% copy of Prime. I don't know though, I never liked the concept of Scourge/Nemesis Prime. I know it's to boost repaints, just as Magnus. But Magnus had the armor. With Nemesis I feel it's just another Dark Samus, or Dark Sonic, with no real purpose other than to be a threat.Nemesis I don't fully get why he's popular.

Quick question,Tf Legends is based on which continuity? Aligned?

With Nemesis I feel it's just another Dark Samus, or Dark Sonic, with no real purpose other than to be a threat.Nemesis I don't fully get why he's popular.

Everyone likes a good redeco, especially if it's one that represents an evil version of a character. ;)

Quick question,Tf Legends is based on which continuity? Aligned?

Hard to say, really. But, based on the fact that all the art (with the exception of Slipstream) is based on Generations toys, themselves mostly Generation One characters, it's safe to assume that Legends is something of a micro-continuity of Generation One.

As fun as this game is, I had to take a break (havent played since the event where they had Megatron as a prize) the momment I the event was over and I realized I had spent $189 for a card that would eventually become obsolete as more and more events came out, that's when I had to be $ concious, in order for me to keep up I would have to dish out a minimum of $15-30 (this is me, may be a different amount for others) to have a decent ranking at the end of each event...again it is a fun game, but just be careful you dont get sucked in and start throwing $ and realize you may have spent more than you wanted to

Unfortunately, I think I am done with this game. I hope if they do a sequel they take some cues from the GI Joe Battlegrounds game. I find there is much more to do there, and more actual gameplay to be had outside the events.

I have been playing Legends for about a month or so now. I have finished all of the missions, gotten all cards from all the missions, and I have a full collection of MTM Rares(the 3s). I now have no reason to play the campaign outside an event besides leveling myself up.

The first event I played was the Megatron prize. Up until this last event I refused to spend money on it. The best points reward I ever got without spending money was a character card and a weapon card. I usually end up just under the 5000 mark on the leaderboards this way, and in earlier events I think the rewards came at lower tiers.

This week I decided to spend some money to see how much it helped. I spend $30 or so on Battle Cube recharges and the event Space Bridge. I ended up with all 3 Airalbots, 1 of them Transcanned and 2 out of the 3 weapons, increasing my deck strength from about 8000 to 11000. I did much better against bosses solo in the first few days, and against bosses in general. And even with all that, I fell short of the rank I normally get without spending money! I have maybe 6 or so Super Rares (4s) with no weapon or Alt mode, rendering them mostly useless, even at max level. I pull a super rare out of the Space Bridge once every MAYBE 400 cards, and the events are they only way to get a lot of Space Bridge draws.

My point here is to give others a heads up. The guy who won this last event got 170 Million points. I think I capped out around 1.5Mil, and ended up in 6000th place. To do well in this game and get worthwhile prizes (At least a card, alt mode and weapon) you have to spend ALOT of money. If you consider I spent $30 and got 1.5Mil, that means the #1 guy must have spent almost $1000 easy!

This has been my experience with the game, and while I apologize if it is lengthy, I hope it helps for people who are considering starting to spend some money on the game.

To bad it doesn't work on a FRELLING Itouch 4... Completely unplayable. Crashes every boss battle and if I touch the space bridge.

doesn't matter the WIFI connection I have 11 gigs free on my TOUCH and only a handful of non base apps...

WANT to play but DEVO message board is littered with the same complaints.

Finally! I thought I was the only one.

For a while, mine only crashed every so often. Ever since the last update, I've also crashed in the boss battles, the missions, and, as you mentioned, the space bridge.

Anybody else stuck like I am? I have gone through four worlds(i guess) each with 3 levels and I do not see a way to move forward from here. If I want to scan for bosses I have to go into levels I have already completed.

That's what you do. You just keep going back and doing missions you've already completed.

Ouch! That Tantrum card art is pretty goofy lookin. Like a WarnerBros cartoon character from the early 90's.
I gave up on this game eons ago.
