So was it only one Insecticon that spoke at the end of Armada? I forget and this would explain that if it was.

I really gotta wonder what the bug did to bulk :/ And why didn't megs wanna get his hands dirty? It's always nice to see him out in the field.

I think it's because Hardshell is some sort of "general" insecticon. Several parts of him look different than other bugs and he talks, and Megs named him.

With this show? I wouldn't put it past them. It really would be a big turn in things though. And you could only imagine how much that would effect Miko.

I can see it now...

Well, they've already killed off Cliffjumper, Skyquake, and Breakdown. Who knows, maybe he'll go down and Whelljack will take his place, or he might go into stasis lock or something.

The Autobots got the phase generator.
Starscream got the Apex Armor.
The Decepticons have the resonance gun.
So it's about time for a "No MacGuffin, no winner" scenario. Though the writers seem to love playing with the audience's expectations.

The Autobots got the phase generator.
Starscream got the Apex Armor.
The Decepticons have the resonance gun.

That's what I thought too, but I honestly can't say. For story-writing purposes it would make sense to let the Cons get it simply because when you introduce a new character you always want to play them up for all they're worth. Notice how when Knock Out and Breakdown were introduced they took on four Bots with relative ease, yet in later episodes they have a markedly lower success rate. From a writer's point of view, you want the character to leave an impact on the audience and make it clear that this new character is a serious contender. Considering that Hasbro seems to have plans for Hardshell (to sell toys) it wouldn't surprise me to see him coming out on top.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the first time Bulkhead has deployed wrecking balls in BOTH of his hands at the same time?

And I hope that's not Hardshell >.> Looks like Bulk offlined him.

I think he's done it before...
What urks me is that he didnt finish Hardshell off. That'll cost him.
Also, A prime insecticon Hardshell toy, I do want...

True. It certainly looked like Screamer died in the preview of Armada and we all know how that turned out.
This clip makes me wish that the bulk toy came with two maces Especially the PRID one. They literally could've made 2 decent maces with all the plastic they used to make the crappy gimmick.

You don't seem to like anything about Transformers: Prime :/ If so, why post? :/

Tough to say; almost sound like the actor's channeling Scott McNeil. Then again, I'm only familiar with David Kaye as Megatron, Optimus Prime, Grimlock, and Lugnut. Be interesting to see the credits when the episode's done.

I sniff a story arc involving a replacement rival for Bulkhead!
Posted by Snowy on May 24th, 2012 @ 9:32pm CDT
Awesome
I love how they're bringing in a lot of veteran voice actors. Kaye especially has been with Transformers for a ridiculous amount of time. Basically from Beast Wars to Animated if I'm not mistaken. And I can definitely see Hardshell having some sort of acidic ability. It just seems to fit.
Posted by Sabrblade on May 24th, 2012 @ 9:39pm CDT
"Basically", yes. But he was notably absent from RiD in 2001-2002.Snowy wrote:I love how they're bringing in a lot of veteran voice actors. Kaye especially has been with Transformers for a ridiculous amount of time. Basically from Beast Wars to Animated if I'm not mistaken.

And I know it'll never happen, but if Kup ever gets in and R Lee Ermey voices him... holy crap.
On topic, tomorrow's gonna be dreadful. Saturday is new Rescue Bots, Korra, and Prime. Friday's NOTHIN'.

Gah, RiD! The one I always forget about. Mainly because it wasn't exactly a very memorable series to me, but I digress. Bottom line: Kaye its certainly no stranger to TF, nor he to us, so this makes me happy. Happy happy ~

Check out this exclusive still from tomorrow's all new episode of Transformers Prime! It's the last new episode for a while, so you know it's going to be exciting as Bulkhead goes head to head with Insecticons! Watch it at 8:30 pm ET on Saturday on The Hub.

Shame about the hiatus. But we all knew it had to come eventually. As long as Korra doesn't go on hiatus my saturdays will still be pretty good.
EDIT: Just found out Korra is in fact on hiatus. A one week hiatus. Oh the agony :'(
