Just bought this Grimlock: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LXCKNOC/?tag=seibertron07-20&
Also have Legion Strongarm: http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Robo ... 00LXCKU4U/?tag=seibertron07-20&
Edit: Legion OP in stock as well: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LXCKR20?tag=seibertron07-20&
Another Edit: Here's the rest:
Legion Steeljaw: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LXCKTZU?tag=seibertron07-20&
Legion Bumblebee: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LXCKU36?tag=seibertron07-20&
3-Step Bumblebee: http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Robo ... 00LXCKO1Y/?tag=seibertron07-20&
Given this weird selection I can only assume I missed out on some of the other stuff.
I ordered the legion figures. Are the 3-step changers supposed to be $22? The one-step changers are available but sold by 3rd party sellers at a mark up. Now where are the combiner wars figures?

3-step changers are priced correctly. They're this line's equivalent of Voyagers, kind of like how the Warriors are the Deluxe equivalent.

Flip & Change/Smash & Change would be a more apt comparison than Voyagers.ScottyP wrote:chuckdawg1999 wrote:I ordered the legion figures. Are the 3-step changers supposed to be $22? I disagree. They're the closest thing this line has to Voyagers, they're just really, really simple ones. The Smash/Flip Change figures were pure gimmick toys. These are at least attempting to have somewhat accurate robot modes, and the transformations, while simple, aren't one-step like the Smash/Flip change guys.
After typing that, I guess they're in between voyagers and flip change, aren't they? Eh, I'll leave it typed as is, more fun that way

The Closest thing we are going to get is a 3 Step Grimlock for now.

My son's Flip/Smash'n'Change Grimlock & Optimus are pretty much the same height as my Masterpiece Grimlock & Optimus (MP10).
Unless you're referring to the smaller One-Step Changers, which are probably somewhere between the Deluxe and old Scout class.

I just learned to appreciate Arms-Micron a lot after it had been out for a while.

On the plus side the Generations Combiner Wars are decent looking. Will only have to keep pace with one line this year.

No thanks. Buying a TF at retail is enough highway robbery for my taste, let alone these insulting prices.
I never understood, in all my years of collecting, why people are so impatient for a product that will be 1/2 price at regular retail in a month or so. They pay a premium, and for what?

Warrior Class is akin to the Simplified Deluxe Class from the tail end of Beast Hunters. They should be the same rough size, but not as complex as regular Deluxes. And it seems that will be the only Class alongside Legion Class without any real gimmicks, like One-Step or Three-Step Transformations.
By the by, I noticed the Warriors are not numbered, or have a Series number at all. Very peculiar.

william-james88 wrote:I feel the same way (as does Cobotron). I actually find this quite original. These decepticons are original characters with original designs that dont play much of an homage to anything previous. That is quite rare when you think of it (both Prime and Animated were all about homages and inspiration from previous lines).
I see them as basically just transforming Battle Beasts, though. At least Thunder Hoof and Steeljaw look a lot like them.

Wolfman Jake wrote:I wonder if Hasbro plans to roll out a "proper" series of deluxes and voyagers for RID 2015 in the Generations line at some point. The Movie 4 figures were technically split between a subline of the Generations branding and the more kid friendly "RID" assortments. Maybe Hasbro is starting with the kid-centric product first, gauging the interest in the cartoon after it launches, and then deciding whether going forward with adult collectible versions of the RID 2015 cast makes financial sense. Maybe that means waiting until 2016, or maybe they could run such a subline concurrently with the Generations Combiner Wars line as happened this year with the movie versus regular Generations lines.
Well, Hasbro did claim the Warrior series is for kids and collectors alike, so...

They can always change their minds. If the roll out of the TF Prime toys is any indication, Hasbro is not shy about changing horses mid-stream.

Those are questions that can't be answered at this time. Perhaps we'll see something during Toy Fair 2015?

I hope Thunderhoof is a stag, but he might be a Cadilac with antlers on the hood.
or this?

Has Habro/Takara every made an alt mode with goofy accessories before? They might as well start now, though let's all hope they never cross the line into...ugh..."truck nuts."

I really wish Hasbro would make weapon packs. I would buy them up real quick. Each weapons package could have a bunch of random weapons all in the same color and each pack will be a different color and each case could have thee colors at a time. They could put c-clip weapons, Energon weapons, PRID and Beast Hunters Cyberverse weapons or even Minicons, Targetmasters and Microns. I'm surprised they never did that after they introduced the c-clip system. They kept making figures that were compatible but there weren't enough weapons to go around.
They can make them in black, white, grey, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink and silver chrome plastics. Each run of colors could be the waves for one year, three colors a quarter, and each year all color packs will contain the same weapons and include things like a complete Star/Dark or Energon/Vorpal Sabre, a Requiem Blaster, a Skyboom Shield, an assortment of the three released Targetmasters (Cyclonus' and Scoop's), an assortment of three PCC Minicons (and Deluxe Armada Optimus Primes Minicon), an assortment of two or three Microns or assortments of the Armada weapons Minicon (non combining) packs with the Takara 5mm ports so normal Transformers can hold them. They can be sold at Deluxe prices if they contain Targetmaster, Minicons or Microns or Legends prices if they go with normal weapons only with no transforming figure weapons. I would buy multiples of each color if they did something like this.

I totally agree. I was just asking around if any 3Ps make non-specific weapons packs. No dice. This seems like it would be easy money.

If they don't come with weapons that will suck as I really liked how Prime's legions all had combinable weapons. It will also be a real shame too as the hands seem to be molded for weapons and there are ports on the alt modes.

Some bots just look odd, that's it. Thunderhoof's antlers aren't any more unusual than Wheeljack's "ears", Bisk's googly eyes aren't any more strange than Shockwave's single optic, Hammerstrike being a shark isn't weirder than Laserbeak being a bird, etc.
I do hope they don't all turn into cars, those are so boring...

Well, Underbite transforms into a... thing that's definitely not a car, if that makes you feel better!
In all seriousness, I agree: I'm a fan of military-based Transformers, and it would break my heart if there weren't any in this series.

i am ok with some Cons being miltary vehicles but not when in the last two animated series a good majority are that type i would have some as
muscle cars or the entire Game boy Family for giggles and whatever type of vehicle / non vehicle alt mode they (being Hasbro and Takara) choose.
ugh

Still not enough is cool about the toys themselves to interest me in this line. Strongarm is the only one I'll buy, and only because I collect fembot characters. Combiner Wars has all my money this next year.

Glad you like the size comparisons. I did them because anytime I see size comparisons they are generally of toys in the same wave, which is no good. So I picked toys that people might have or have one of the moulds of (except Quickmix, he was just handy after I got him in a comic shop in Dublin).
