So we see Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Omega Supreme, Megatron, Skywarp, Soundwave and Trypticon. All instantly recognisable despite having new bodies. I knew they were going to do Trypticon. Alot of people were saying the big character was Devestator but I am so glad it's Trypticon. If this game sucks we should lynch the people who made this amazing trailer.

Peter Cullen is Prime now and always. He totally sells the game.

Awesome truly awesome, i cant wait for this game. It only took what 20 years for them to finally give us the war on cybertron thats not in paper form. I just hope thats not Megatrons voice.I hope its just a filler voice and not the final voice actor. Or not Megatrons at all. They've done a good job so far dont fail us here.

Just noticed that Ratchet has a red helmet and white fin. I also think it is Starscream and not Skywarp. My mistake.

Great trailer for a Transformers CG cartoon but this is a trailer for a video game. Good to hear Peter Cullen reprise his role as OP but I'm interested in gameplay.

Great CG vid there, but Meg's voice is downright hideous (why not get Kaye?). I guess they are trying to emulate his Bay-voice, but dear lord, that doesn't fit at all.

The rest is AOK, though I'm really surprised at Cullen's involvement. If anything his movie-performance made it clear that he is a bit too old for it...

I hope they use Frank Welker for Megatron. There are so many original voices still available. Gregg Berger if not for Grimlock for Skyfire!

Wow, that trailer was just amazing. I love that Trypticon and (Metroplex?) are in it. At first I thought Trypticon was devastator since this seems to be fusing G1 and movie designs....yeah I know, weird.

Anyways, this is just awesome! I can't wait to get this game.
Also, it's funny how this seems to fit almost exactly in where movie 1 said there was a war that made them come to earth....

When Trypticon came out of the sky, that was just epic. I can not wait for this game, and only hope it lives up to these CG trailers.

I'm skeptical about the actually being Cullen. Maybe just someone who does the Prime voice well. It sounded younger. Cullens Prime sounds old, mostly because Cullen is old. I have no problem with Megatron's voice. Any Megatron beats Welker's Megatron. G1 Megatron's voice is ear bleeding awful.

Can't wait to see some game play. If they pull off the Gears game play well with the Transformers then I'm game.

My hopes started to fall when i heard this plays simular to Gears of War...If this game is anything like Gears of War then that will be a big shame. Why ruin such a great idea? Lets just hope it is not like GoW.

The trailer was pretty great but kinda scarry, like when Omega Supreme wiped out a whole bunch of decipitcons...my stomach sank and felt sick. A tad bit disturbing. I know its sapose to be gritty but it looks a little too violent for me. Bumblebee was sweet. I want to see more of Ratchet, he's always in the background.

Oh how i hope this does the right things and be good.

Sorry, but the developers have stated that it will play like Gears styled combat. Which is fine with me, I like Gears. I'm sure that it will be less cover based, and of course vehicles will play in the mix, so it will be interesting to see this pan out.

I hope is has a lot of robot gore like Gears. Cutting people in half will be very satisfying.

This trailer proves that there is a God in heaven, and he wants us to be happy. Wasnt Metroplex the rival to Trypticon? Why is Omega being used here?

That's not a disturbing statement at all....
For me gameplay is what matters, not the violence level. But, they're robots so seeing some dismemberment doesn't really bother me much. The atmosphere and storyline seem very compelling, but it has to be palyable... I'm hoping for the best.

Fine, cutting robots in half will be very satisfying. You know you want to cut off some Decepticon appendages. You can't say you never took parts off your figures as a kid acting like they where getting chopped or shot off (and if you didn't you were playing totally wrong

). It's like that, but better.

And look, updated designs that pay homage to the originals and yet somehow manage to look cool without also looking like an assemblage of random pieces with insect heads.

Crazy.

Can't wait for the toy line.

Whether or not what we're seeing is in game or rendered- the models all exists and are designed to be animated. If Hasbro is a smarty, they would be designing the game's library as such so that it can be reused for an animated series.

I was thinking maybe in the game, Activision is allowing/encouraging Cullen to sound more like "old-school" Prime, not the way he did in the movies. That or they're cleaning it up w/ computers to make him sound younger again. Either way, that's definitely Cullen.

ok i know its only a trailer and as others have posted it'll really come down to game play, we all remember how cool the first movie game looked before turning out to be a repetitive snorefest.

but the homages to the G1 era are fantastic.

ratchet looks great and if theres dismemberment going on its very easy to fit in a mission for him where he has to either patch up some bots in the field or scrounge for parts for the injured.

bumblebee looked good too. ya really got the sense that he was a plucky little dude, outmatched, but giving as good as he gets. in fact the minute i saw him my first though was "how cool would it be to has a skin so he can be cliffjumper "

i agree that omegas action seemed hard core but TBH i LOVE the idea of an teen plus game for TF so ive no problem with that and trpticons entrances WAS cool

interesting to see they used the idea bay had with the meteors, but still what a bad ass intro.

i cant wait to get the chance to play as him or omega. im hoping the reason devestator wasnt used is that the guys behind the game are so confident in it that they intend to introduce combiners in the sequel to this one !

anyway i guess what im trying to say is this trailer got me pumped and it really does seem that these lads get what TF is all about and look to be giving us a great game. if the gameplay meets the hype thisll be the game that gets me to buy a PS3 !

I would have pictured David Kaye as this Optimus. Mr. Cullen is awesome but i just see Kaye in this reincarnation.

Well I guess G4 was wrong on who the decepticon boss was going to be it isn't the Constructicons unstead high moon decided to go with Trypticon which is cool. I like that idea it is kind of like the old marvel what if comics so get to see what if omega supreme took on Trypticon. Also the trailer was really cool can't wait for the game this one and Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 seem to be the two must have summer games.

It's confirmed for NDS, PC, PS3, X360 and Wii. Though the 'proper' default version is PC, PS3 and X360 only. The Wii and NDS will get their own 'special' versions.

I noticed that too! It sounds like a regular guy, with a deep voice. I want Megatron to be, "rip your heart out of your ass" evil! And have the voice to fit!
