Wait, lets' start over.
It's Blurrz here, and I'm sure everyone's had their looks and feels of the newest Transformers Masterpiece and Seibertron.com gallery addition, Masterpiece Rodimus Prime. Despite the figure's creativity, playability, and basically being what everyone wanted out of a Hot Rod to Rodimus Prime style figure, it has all been forgotten to some. They've experienced bad quality control, and all around difficulties with the figure that has a very hefty price tag. Can a simple repaint change all of that?
From brash, hot-headed Autobot hero, to dark, Machiavellian, Shattered Glass Autobot serial-killer, we've got a straight repaint of the figure into his alternate universe colors. He's also got the trademark moustache. Say hello to Masterpiece Dark (Shattered Glass) Rodimus. No more needs to be said, check it out, courtesy of ACToys member Love Hero!

Is it just me or does the Alt mode look better than robot mode

It's still the same figure just repainted so yes it would have the same issues as the others. However it's a lovely paint job.

Looks nifty though, but the price of Rodimus and now the custom job the price is going to be eye watering

You have got way too much money on your hands...
Care to share?
I just keep mine the way it was meant to be...

I was cringing when I saw that he had begun this undertaking. I saw the first teasers for this on Facebook and I thought "Holy Primus how can he do this after shelling out that kind of dough and having just received the figure"? I'm hoping he bought 2 and has left one untouched.
It does look pretty sweet but I did notice some flaws in the paint process. They stand out to me because of my profession but I doubt that 99% of the folks out there would ever catch them without a magnifying glass and really bright light so I would still have to commend him on his work. I think this version actually looks color than the standard color scheme.
