"Not sure if this is old news but I thought I'd post anyways.. I just checked the TRU site and noticed the 2 exclusives (Wingblade and Jetstorm) are available and 'in stock'. I just placed my order for 1 of each. The price online is $24.99ea. I tried to search for a coupon code online but couldn't find one. The total for shipping and tax came out to $64."
You can purchase the figures from ToysRUs.com by clicking on the pictures below.

I have both molds, and believe me, they are larger than voyager, with the WingSaber redeco being quite a treat. However that does not mean that the JetFire redeco is lax in any way!
Still I can not say it enough, they are not Voyagers.
Neat. Are they Voyagers?
Just kidding.
I still can't decide which one I want.

It's a great, sturdy, brickish mold.
I'm rather fond of it.

These could have been real diamonds with realistic military camoflage paint apps.

Still a nice change compared to all the movie toys pretty dark, and grey tones (minus bb of course).

You can see the alt modes on the TRU site.

I'm shocked someone at Toys R Us was stocking shelves and knew what had been delivered!!
Usually TRU looks like it is being run by the same people who run Target and Circuit City.....empty shelves as far as the eye can see!

They are just exclusives, not premium versions by any means.

Shouldn't be that hard of a find. No TRU exclusive ever is...

Except for the Star Wars ones, minus the Bantha pack....that sat around forever, and then I bought one. And it was good. Still is, really.
Oh yeah, these things. The Jetstorm I'd like to pick up, the Wing Blade or whatever, I just don't really like that figure, and the paint on it is ugly. Both of them, honestly, the paintjobs are weak. Still like and plan on buying Jetstorm.
Anyone else think the best toys in the movie line are the ones that are repaints from better toylines? Like the Walmart deluxes, which are the best deluxe class figures of the entire 'movie' bunch?

***** EDITED Few Hours Later *****
I went to a local TRU store and didn't see Wingblade/Jetstorm on the shelves so I asked customer service's help, we checked computer it showed no stock and nothing on order. We even checked 3 more near by TRU's from computer & none of them have these new exclusive ultras.
So I came back and ordered them online, enough of trying to hunt them down in a physical store. Guess I will have to spend my $50 Hasbro reward check on my daughters' Littlest Pet Shop stuffs *sigh*.
rouelxprss wrote:I tried buying it online from TRU twice in the past 24 hours already, they just cancelled my order again without any explanation. First time it ever happened to me. Is it just me or is there somebody else out there having the same problem?
My order with TRU online this morning went through with no problem, I will do a follow up post here if my order gets rejected for any reason. But if you don't hear from me again, which means my order has been successfully processed & delivered to my hot little hands.

No, they're not. The repaints are bleh at best and only part of the movie line because of their packaging. They cannot compete with Wreckage, Bonecrusher, CC Bumblebee, Dropkick, Landmine and Stockade

Too each their own. Out of the figures you mentioned the only ones I like are Wreckage and Bonecrusher, and I find the Cybertron repaints to be much better even than those. Packaging shamckaging, they're being sold under the umbrella of the movie line, so I'd consider them part of the movie line. Anyway, I like them better.

and for those that are bitching about the price of these guys, there are coupons just like hts to make the price even easier. but, with the price of gas and the tru's around here spread out, it's much easier decision to order direct from the source.
but that's me.
Posted by Counterpunch on April 9th, 2008 @ 12:59pm CDT
$9 is a cheap price to pay not to have to go into a TRU.

My order came to $33.03 for Movie Wingblade shipped. BBTS wants $44.99 for each, and that's before shipping.
Ebay prices are about $40 before they are shipped. So if you don't see him in the store, then you should order him right away.
