Episode #115 "Nenemis Prime" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Today's a toy-centric Twincast, folks, and the crew is ready to tackle the rush of Transformers reveals coming your way. First we discuss the latest Botcon 2015 Cybertron's Most Wanted box set reveals: Battletrap, Shattered Glass Stepper, and... DOTM Megatron? The Twincast crew discusses Duocons, mirror universes, and the divisive first release of the Arms Microns Breakdown mold in the US, which is captured in a stunning gallery by our very own Seibertron. Which of these figures are we most excited about? Well, you'll just have to listen to find out.
It's over, Prime.
But wait, our friends at FunPub aren't done yet. We've once again entered the magical world of crossovers, with a few intriguing new entries on the G.I. Joe side of the ledger: Joe CON exclusive Old Snake and BAT (2 of 'em!) from the PRID deluxe Soundwave mold, and Transformers Collectors Club Marissa Faireborn with "Afterbreaker." Sit back as we discuss the merits of these rather slick crossovers, and the amazing galleries Seibertron photographed for your viewing pleasure.
It's a mug only a mother could love.
Our final exclusive of the evening is dark, evil, and has an oversized meat cleaver as a weapon. Oh, and did I mention he's a combiner? That's right, the Twincast discusses the eHobby exclusive Grand Scourge. Is the Twincast crew picking up this Prime wannabee, or is that gold just a wee, wee bit too much?
Ha, he said 'wee, wee'...
On to Takara, and their newlineup of figures coming off the assembly line: Transformers Adventure. What's the crew picking up in this assortment of original molds and redecos? What are we leaving behind? What other crazy things can we expect ? We've got our opinions, and folks, you're gonna hear them!
Excellent execution. Read that as you will.
Takara's Unite Warriors Menasor has been revealed, and these Stunticons' are considerably different from their Hasbro counterparts. In a word: G1 accurate decos. Salivating yet? Well, it's not all good news - the Twincast discusses the tradeoffs, so tune in!
But... but... where's Offroad?
Who's feeling the rage? Prototype images of MP-26 Road Rage (a retool of the upcoming MP-25 Tracks) have hit the interwebs, and the first female Masterpiece figure features a retooled head, curved thighs, and perhaps more. Bonus: in-package images of Hasbro's Masterpiece Bluestreak have been revealed... but we think you can guess which figure we're more excited about.
Oo-la-la!
Next up: Combiner Wars. Join us for a freewheeling discussion on the Protectobots, Cyclonus, and a few other Combiner Wars figures that have shown up in the Phillipines. How are we liking the looks of these wave 3 figures, and how soon can we expect them, given some of us haven't even found wave 2 yet?
Just think of the repaint potential!
Finally, on to some non-toy talk - Robots in Disguise has progressed to episodes 3 & 4, and those crewmembers brave enough to watch have some encouragingthings to say about this latest animated adventure!
He's still got the touch!
Our penultimate topic for this broadcast: A listener question! Seibertron.com member Nemesis Maximo asks the crew about cleaning their dusty figures. How such an innocuous became a source for hilarity is beyond us...
We finish up the Twincast with some bragging rights. What did everyone get since the last recording?
Took long enough!
Don't forget, the show only gets better if you tell us how. Drop us a review on iTunes and be sure to tell us what you love, what you hate, and what you want to hear!
Not on the show to give your take? Probably not, so don't forget to keep the discussion going on the Seibertron.com Energon Pub Forums by simply replying to this post!
Got a question for the Twincast? We take all of them, we just don't take them all seriously! Leave a question in the Ask the Twincast thread and, if it makes the cut, it may get read and answered on the show.

Maybe I am jumping the gun too fast, but the MP3 version or clicking on the RSS feed is just bringing up an error message

The TRU stores around here have had some pretty healthy restocks of Wave 1 Deluxes and Voyagers in the past couple weeks, I'd recommend them if online isn't an option. Also today just saw wave one legends in abundance at Target, so that might be a good option too

This is what I often wonder about,
you record the show, and between the recording and the uploading,
the news comes out ( OilMaster, the Trukk-Monkee)
do you ever feel 'scooped' ?
as always Jon a pleasure with his industry insider tid bits, and his catching out the TF voice actors with 'Prime'

Yeah it seems like TRU has been the #1 spot to find Combiner Wars figures...and surprisingly Meijers (if you have those in your area). That is where I've found Motormaster, Silverbolt and Prime.

Now if TRU wasn't charging 19.99 for CW deluxes. I've seen wave 2 at a couple of walmarts. Nowhere else though.

Which makes sense, as they're both FunPub exclusives using the Special Ops Jazz mold.

Yes! That is the guy. And he was brutal in Last Stand of the Wreckers. Thanks for pointing that out!

Kick-Off is awesome! the best use of that mold I'll say other then Jazz. Too bad he was brutally killed by Overlord as his prize for winning all those battles.

I was itching to yell, "No! He shouldn't be teal. The gold is right! This is the Grand Scourge we've always needed but never knew we wanted."

This is why you, nor scotty should never leave for more than a few episodes.

I had meant to say it to RodimusConvoy13 and Megatronus behind the scenes, but I'll do it in public instead.
I really appreciate the motivation and fearless diving into managing a recording on their own. Ensuring that this all comes together every 2 weeks is a task in of itself. I know it, Scotty has found out over the past year, and we're both happy to feel the weight pull back from our ever responsible shoulders just a bit.

Also, just to clarify, the above post wasn't a criticism. Getting people to want to engage is a good thing.

Well that was the joke, considering that you at least have been off and on, and things' have gone fine.

On Jon, I can't agree more with what he said about a new live action Transformers movie\TF vs. Joe movie. I'd settle for an animated straight to video release.
Toys!
Kudos to all.
Rotorstorm shined in this episode and I never tire of the Wheeljack impersonations.
I'm sure she said something similar.

There's not much I feel like commenting about, but the whole #nenemis thing had me cackle for a good twenty minutes. More sillyness is always good.

For sure, but it's something I got over after awhile. There were literally times where new Masterpiece toys were announced/teased/what have you ten minutes after we stopped recording an episode. The news cycle in the hobby isn't on a regular enough schedule to keep up with it all, so just have to do what we can, when we can

Yeah my wallet has certainly not been enjoying the prices of the CW figures!
