Meet Ultra Magnus and Galvatron
Two of the most powerful commanders in the Transformers universe are making their way through the Space Bridge this weekend!
Ultra Magnus
Soldier, law enforcer, staunch defender of Autobot principles, Ultra Magnus is all these things and more.
But while he is comfortable following orders, he isn't as happy giving them. The mantle of leadership doesn't sit easily on his shoulders, though with his indomitable courage and gift for battlefield improvisation under fire, he'd be the perfect choice.
In many ways, he simply leads by example.
Ultra Barrage
Fire 21 rockets scattered in a line across the target. Followed by 3 big guided missiles which hit for high damage.
Galvatron
It's hard to imagine a more pitiless, monstrous tyrant than Megatron, but Galvatron is it.
He's Megatron to the nth degree and even more powerful than his past/former self. Remade by Unicron, Galvatron's conceit and thirst for conquest and dominance are second to none.
He is power personified, an unstoppable force that knows no upper limit when it comes to sheer mayhem and carnage.
Fusion Beam
Blast a distant target dealing high damage. Heavily damages everything in line with the target and around it.
Twitch Stream
Join us LIVE on Thursday September 1st @ 4PM UTC for a Q&A with comic writing legend Simon Furman. We’ll be chatting about Ultra Magnus, Galvatron and more of your favorite bots from the G1 Universe!

If that's what it takes, anyone who can, should. I'll hold down Fort Seibertron since I doubt any good alliances would take me anyway.

Sid thinks it's nieve to stand by your friends. I don't get that.
I hope Burn does stay, but he won't have top score if he does. I will take that. But if he does leave, he God damn better come back with a Shiney four star Galv.

Sid actually thinks the same thing. The rest is you editorializing, assuming and being a dick, as Burn said. So spare me the accusations of being the worst of humanity since it's obviously catching on.

Points are points during an event. Anywhere you can get them is a good thing. These upper tier alliances seem to realize that. They're hopping all over.
That's why naive was the perfect word. You're being honest from your perspective, I'm being honest from mine.

My HQ is now level 13. Know how much upgrades cost? At least one resource (either energon or alloy) is near, or in excess of 2 million.
The only way to get that is to hit higher and higher zones. I can barely do that now. I need to upgrade bot abilities.
Know what I need for that?
Sparks.
While the prospect of getting a 3* (or possibly even but most likely not 4*) Galvatron is nice, I'm struggling at the moment to be able to upgrade things.
Call me selfish if you want, at this point, I honestly don't care.

Try this on my computer. Larger screen...
I don't think you're selfish, I think you're frustrated. I am in the same boat as a Bot only with a worse alliance, we can't handle bronze despite having a few people at HQ 12 and above. I also need sparks to contribute better in wars. I've been scraping by slowly upgrading guys. I don't have a full team at level 4 abilities yet. Though, if I could get a level 3 that wasn't Slipstream or gotten her within my first day like I did on Seibs II or as a bot I'd probably be better off. Neither here nor there. Do what you feel you need to do, I am just saying I will out score you in the event. I'm gonna try hard.

You're the one justifing things. Honestly, I wouldn't think you were a douche in need of being replaced if you had simply not said anything when you left the second time. But you had to be a dick about it and insult CF. The way I see it, you are part of the reason Burn is frustrated. But when you're told that you're needed, and you toss out "You're naive." And bail, you just make yourself a dick. And good for you! You're helping people! Hey, so am I! On 3 accounts! Do I deserve an award too? Obviously you think you do. 2k in the event, didn't help or harm us btw. Now, your 225 in a war, as CF said would be greatly helpful, that would have been. But, yeah, go you. You're helping people. Yay. Excuse me, I got to go help 2 other alliances on my other accounts now. *thumbs up*

To be perfectly honest, even if I had a good supply of sparks and resources, this garbage is enough to make me leave.

You kniw... I'm being pushed... AGAIN... to the point of being reactionary. I'm kind of tired of that.
So everyone shut the duck up. EVERYONE.
AZ is just frustrated. Happens. He's given a lot to the alliance in the short time he's been here.
We are all under stress over this and letting it ruin friendships.
Sid, you did what you did, great. Have fun with the new alliance. But I don't care what AZ did/is doing, but you aren't helping.
You can stop directing your little barbs at me. I'm tired of it. I dropped this whole damned thing and tried to smooth out sore feelings in the alliance, and you showed up again trying to dig into me and call me a hypocrite. I didn't say one bad thing to you prior to you calling me a dick. Then your little remarks about justifying. You've managed to undo all I tried to do, so back off.

Maybe we could steer things back towards the game itself, the pros and cons of the event, rather than bickering over departed members and making ourselves look bad to anybody who pokes their head in from the front page.
Yes, it does suck that only the top 80 alliances (roughly 320 players) are going to get 3*/4* Magnus or Galvy. But we already knew that the system for getting characters even above 1* was crap. You have a decent chance at a 2* from the free crystals, low chance of 3*, and practically nill chance of a 4*. Why? Because they want you to pay for those characters. They hook you with easy low level free play and then make it so you almost have to fork over real money once you've invested a lot of time and gotten interested in the game. At the end of the day, it's a game that's stacked to favor those who invest more money but you can get plenty of free entertainment out of it as well. Maybe you hit a glass ceiling in leveling up. So just keep attacking bases at a comfortable level and enjoy the new bots. Enjoy the game for what it's good at.

This is not actually true. You could certainly get the necessary resources from your harvesters and hitting whatever zone you're comfortable in. It would take longer but it is, technically, possible.

I apologize to you Burn for upsetting you. I feel bad about that. It was not my intention, and I am not upset about Sid or anyone leaving. If they feel they need to, then that's their right.

1 thing that is gonna kill this game is the rng. I have 2 3* characters and both times I've gotten a 3 star crystal I have gotten duplicates of those characters. In today's age that is gonna drive alot of potential players away. A smaller player base translates into mayhem attack squad being the only achive team.
So many little things bother me about this game but it's so much fun that I overlook them for now but down the road this games legs are gonna fall off. The wandering bot syndrome has to be addressed as well as the brackets for pvp attacks. I went into a 3000 match and the guy had level 1 mortars, no beam and 3k of each resource. Smells like pay to win is rearing its, ugly head.

Basically, we figure you and a few others would benefit more being with the main alliance for events. Seibs II isn't likely to do well in events regardless of who is there, at least at this point.

LiKwid wrote:I go where I'm needed. Going seibs 2 showed me 1 thing. I need to improve. As long as it's allowed I will jump from alliance 1 to 2 if I'm needed. As long as Seibertron is winning, we all win. I felt like I was doing more harm than good in the gold wars barely managing 15 pts. I jump to seibs 2 and I'm reaching commanders and I feel like I'm contributing.

The RNG does leave a lot to be desired.
The 3k match seems to be a side effect of when they changed the zones. I don't know if it's a pay to win thing, but those under powered bases also are not awarding medals. It's been rare to get more than a handful from a win, but the ease of getting resources is nice.

Seibertron is an awesome alliance. I get to see a lot more than most people do since i'm one of the few privy to both the command and the member side of the alliance.
AZ and Dizz have stepped up and have worked so very hard make this alliance better. The amount of time they both spend working on both alliances (they run circles around me) is tremendous.
Dizz plays 'Bad Cop' so I don't have to in Seibs II as well as Main (he kicks everyone needing to be kicked )
AZ stepped up to be the commander, even though he wasn't sure he could at first.
We email constantly... and now Line chat... and never once have they teased me about my "reply all" button location problem... and consantly talk, plan, and work out details in game.
We have Bot to be the level headed voice of reason (He would be our compass in the storm).
And of course, Burn, our roadblock base.
There's an entire list of people who deserve praise. I don't want to leave anyone out, but Kurthy, Kurona, Galaxy, Nano, Arlo, SiameseDream, all do amazing jobs pulling in the points. We'very had so many go to help out Seibs II as well.
I really hate listing people because I always forget someone (we love you Shaun... even on vacation you've pulled your weight!) but I have really seen a lot of hard work.
We reorganized the entire alliance, and AZ and Dizz really came through on it. They've done a lot more than most people can see. So you have to understand why there's an emotional charge to this, there's been a lot of work to try to get us to the point where people are clamoring to get to us because we are a high performance alliance. We want to be able to hit Cybertronian League and finish way more than 10 prestige in an event.. or hit the top tier prizes.
We want to so it with you guys and ladies.
But I want to thank everyone, especially AZ, Dizz, and Bot.
The big alliances have started pulling in smaller ones and reorganizing them under the banner of 'so and so' family. I still haven't decided if this is good or bad... but I do know it makes it harder to find new members. That's why it is important to us to be able to offer gold/platinum league wars and top tier prizes. It was suggested to me in general chat the other night that we join one of these 'families ' otherwise we will die. I am not ready to suggest that yet, but I do know we need to work hard and appreciate everyone we have.

I could, and I do ... but again, 2 million. That's going to take a number of days to bank up. Not to mention the potential to lose resources when attacked.

Anyhow just after a bit of clarification, is it only mortars that shoot over walls? Its a bit annoying that the game itself doesnt seem to provide any of this kind of relevant information.
On this basis, do you typically aet up your defences with walls further from your front line defences, or right infront of them?
Im relatively happy with my defences atm.. only really lost medals when attacked whilst mortars are upgrading, but if anyone has a second for a quick look at my base and correct anything obviously dumb, that would be great!
Finally, obviously trying to mess with AI is good and i have noticed people putting ie alloy storage out the front of their base. Is this worth it as by doing so you are giving the opponent more ability points?

I'm with Kurona, I really think both Seib 1 and Seib 2 could get there. This is the first time that I have heard of alliance jumping. So, I wouldn't jump with out your permission.
For me I really think I fit in with Seib 2. It allowed me to fit with my pace of growth.
Just my two cents.

*edit*
I also wanted those who'very slugged through crap in Seibs II to get rewards that make them better, then come back down after to the low stress group. I don't know if we can get Galvs in a day like with Scourge, but we also couldn't hit 80k in three days in the last one. So I want what is best for my people.

Yeah, Cons get attacked way more than Bots (doesn't Hasbro always say that Bots are more popular?). My HQ13 bot account gets attacked once every couple days, but my HQ12 con account gets attacked about every 7-8 hours. It gives me the opportunity to test out strategies on defense.
And this game is quickly proving that the most important assets are your base and spark. And like Burn said, he can't get enough resource in between attacks to get the resources he needs to upgrade his base because he doesn't have enough spark from war wins.
I'm seriously worried about how long it will take before people start getting frustrated with the games reward structure mixed with AI issues. Right now 4*s are around 100-1 odds on premium crystals with no guarantee you won't get a dupe even if you only have one 4*.
I also think the alliance heavy bent is going to drive a rift between daily players and hourly players. It would be nice if they spent a few weekends on individual events so that people could work as hard as they wanted to without letting down teammates.
By the way, CtrlF, you should recruit some new cons from that line chat group I added you to. AlwaysHostile doesn't have a con set up (well, not really) but there are quite a few with con accounts, plus the chat group is interalliance and there are quite a few Con only accounts in there.
