Update! Walmart.com listing for Ultra Magnus is.....

Ninety dollars for the re-issue, no thanks.

I don't like that they're doing this at $90. I mean, it's a reissue, damnit. Hasbro didn't even pull this for Pepsi Prime. Matter of fact they ask half what I paid for it's Japanese counterpart at hasbrotoyshop.com (not that it's available to buy there at the moment). More than half, if you count shipping from Hong Kong. I'm happy they've reissued G1 Ultra Magnus again, but $90 for it? Damn good thing I bought it back when TRU had it; they didn't charge nearly that much, did they? I can't remember.

Man, this just seems like a scam. Whatever happened to Walmart's low-low prices?

If you look at the details on the listing (weight, etc), this really seems like a case of bait and switch to me. I really hope that Wal-Mart gets some flack for this one, either from Hasbro or the Better Business Bureau.

Yea, Walmart.com is a rip-off, they just ried to charge me 5 bucks just to ship Classics Mirage. Someone who bought this Magnus should print the website's description and report them

I am PISSED about this...I'd rather buy the Hasbro MP Prime for $69 ( I already have him) and sit and paint him to look like Magnus, HELL, even as Nemesis Prime then have some stale Ultra Magnus for $90!! Unfortunately, I DID order it, now I will have to slump off to my local Walmart and get my money back. To add insult to injury, UPS says the shipping for 2lbs should be around $7 NOT $20.

I like the Magnus toy, but NOT for $90...that could be my MP Starscream or Ultimate Bumblebee for godsake. I put Walmart on blast on their own reviews section under the Magnus thing...Look for "Targetfan" if you want to read an irrate toy collector.

Oh...I just checked a few minutes ago...it's now "unavailable" online. At least I know that I was screwed in good company!!

Oh....Head's up to further PISS ME OFF. Big Bad Toy Store has this SAME Magnus on pre-order for $74.99... WTF!!!!!!!

Paying 90 bucks on Walmart for an Ultra Magnus g1 reissue is insane. That's got to be a mistake. It must be the Mp Optimus Prime white repaint for 90 bucks. Only toys r us had the g1 reissue exclusives. No other store did.

in the return cart it was the commemorative series 1 of Ultra Magnus in "Perfect Clean Shape" i thought it was a new item yet i scan it in the price scanner theres no price Then i said FUCK!!! no price so i set it aside i was having second thoughts of buying it could this be good to be true then i check the copyright year "2002!" then i check the movie transfomers fig Copyright year 2006-2007 now everything's got intersting i went on break i ask my asst manager to ring it up ,she tell me she couldnt cos its not on file so she tell me to talk to the Dept manager in the morning so she can put a price in it...Morning has arrive
i ask the dept.manager if she can put price in it so she let me wait cos she went to the UPC office to checkor negotiate the price ... Around 20 mins later she ask me Hey r u still gonna buy this .. i said Yeah why how much was it? she said 40$, i said oh well, then she said i was just kidding its $19.76 (before i talk to her in the morning i already check the price of it in the internet) i cant hold it any more i say thank you i appreciate it!!! im my mind i said Fuck YEAH!!!!!! it was a Very good deal...

The reason you were able to get that reissue Ultra Magnus is probably because one of us that brought it online thru Walmart.com at the listed price of $89.99 with an shipping cost of almost $20, thinking it was a Masterpiece Ultra Magnus then returning it when we found out it's just the reissue version and that we were being ripped off.

It should be listed at that price anyways... it's not like its any more complex then an Alternator, and its such an outdated design..the newer he-man character figures sell now for more then the comemerative reissues!! BTW, it says Commemorative series 1 on the box, is this the start oif a new wave of commemerative collections imported from Takara's encore series? Or is this a Wal-mart exclusive commemorative series like that of Toys R Us??? I want a Reissue Dinobot set from wal-mart!!!!

nope its not another start of new wave of commemorative series & its not a wal-mart exclusive just check the year in the box 2002 ...I just got Lucky i got it in a very reasonable price....
