Vangelus has reviewed FansProject's first stand alone figure, the Warbot Defender.
The video quality can be off at times as youtube is still processing it since it's pretty lengthy. But this minor problem should be resolved soon.

Nothing like a spot of positive re-enforcement on a buy. Vangelus does damn good reviews yo, love the liveliness and jokes!

Mine should be here by Friday just in time for my vacation! can't wait. Vangelus' review was hilarious and well done. There's some great pics along with it at TFW.

Now I just need an Autobot sticker for his chest

Fansproject and other 3rd party companies are answering all my dreams, can they possibly make a g1 live action movie?

Excellent and humorous review. I'm pretty psyched to get him now. The color looks great.

Oh, wow. I am so glad I got this guy coming. FP... has ascended.

IPV is a reviewer I've subscribed to for quite some time now. Always great reviews with a good balance of humour and critical analysis. He's a big action figure collector as well so he brings a seasoned perspective to his reviews.

Seeing as FP seems to have hit a homerun with their first full action figure, I wonder what their next figure will bring to the table?

the uglyness and oddness of his legs is why I didn't buy him.
I hope FP does one of their famous revisions to the mould.

Don't they have a quasi-Broadside too?

Yes they do, I can't remember what they are calling it though. They also have a Junkion designed called Collector, and an original character combiner set called the Glacialbots based on perhistoric animal alt modes.

Any news on prototypes for those figures aside from concept art pictures?

Not to my knowledge. If I remember correctly they revealed the concept are for all those guys and Defender at the same time. So maybe now that Defender is out they will move on one of these, or the Protector upgrade.

next stop: Arcee. they should be planning/making her right about now, at least until after Protector is finished.

Some nice surprises in that video, and the transformation looks like it was engineered brilliantly. While it is a slighlty bigger figure, it looks like a more successful triple changer than Universe Octane or Classics Astrotrain. Nice work FP!

DeadMetal, I love you you credited the Subtitles in the news post. Hilarious :APPLAUSE:

Its been awhile since i browsed Seibertron here and so i got to watch this review last night and i have this Warbot (Springer) on order and should be at the end of April. Well the only words come to mind is WOW and BADASS! and im glad im spent the money on this guy, yeah theres very small issues here and there that can be over looked, but overall Warbot is totally worth it and can't wait to get him. Now, the overall review about the review with Vangelus.....is...well how can i put it, SUCKS! he is terrible and if I want sarcastic moronic commentary then i can go to comedy central or something, but for now i'll stick with Peaugh and Vangelus do us a favor retire from reviews..

Hahaa!

Or.. and here's a crazy idea.. if you don't like his reviews you can just not watch them

Here's another idea, if i watched his reviews before, I wouldn't be posting anything about this, would I.. Duh!

This is the first time in a decade that I actually needed the instructions to transform a toy. The first time I tried changing him into all 3 modes yesterday took about an hour and a half. But holy crap, you can actually move his arms around so he can draw & holster his guns...that's amazing.

So who will be getting the inevitable Warbot Destroyer repaint?
