Fight to the end in the war that started it all! There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see www.xbox.com/live/accounts.
Interestingly enough, it appears that this DLC pack includes the previously exclusive Demolisher, Shockwave, and Jazz Multiplayer Characters.

Anyone wanna bet that the blue tank-looking bot in the credits is really Scattershot? That's who I thought it was when I first saw it
EDIT: I wonder what Onslaught is going to look like. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who thought that Brawl was Onslaught since he looked a lot like him (twin cannons on back, similar face)

I knew they'd release a DLC with all three of the pre-order characters.
Personally I got Jazz [ from Best Buy ] and I'm glad I did, too many FPS noob Shockwaves running around.

Could be wrong here, or maybe you got a lucky glitch, but I think you might be seeing the Sideswipe chasis in multiplayer.

but then again it happens to alot of games these days. Nice to see new chassis being put out now we wont be stuck with alot of soundwaves or alot of warpaths

But, yay! I wanted Demolisher, but my bro wanted Jazz.
Now, we can have both.

Don't act so snide just because PS didn't get the stupid Demo, PSN will probably have this too but you're going to have to pay for it just like the rest of us.

About an hour's worth of gameplay and a chance to get your ass kicked by the dev team. I can't believe we missed out on those things.

Quick question, why do you automatically think it'll be the Autobot tank? He was after all, originally a Cybertronian Jet.

If they could put out a patch to fix the laggy ass servers this games Mp could be stellar..The few games (and I mean few) I have been in are action packed and suprisingly balanced..Something alot of other Popular Mp games should work on

I've been using Jazz in multiplayer too, since I purchased WfC from Best Buy. As long as you have the character unlocked, you can use their character model in any multiplayer mode.

Well, the big stripe down the middle of the car, and the break dance like transformation makes me think it's jazz like.

I doubt they would introduce major characters like the Dinobots as DLC, as awesome as that would be. And they said they don't think they could do the Dinobots justice.

That's Sideswipe. He puts his hand to the ground and does a little spin in the air when he transforms from car to 'bot. I wasn't sure who the body belonged to at first, but yeah, it's Sideswipe.
This is what Jazz looks like.

My dream list of Character skins would be Ultra Magnus (Leader), Dead End (scout), Mirage (Scout obviously), Motormaster (Leader), Pre-tape Ratbat (Scientist) , Razorclaw (Leader), Blaster (Leader), Skydive (Scientist), Leozack (Scientist), Hot Rod (Scout), Rodimus Prime (Leader), Wheeljack (Scout), Hardhead (Soldier).
The Autobots need more Tank skins, but Hell if I can think of any other than Warpath, Hardhead, and that Micromaster tank.

Loki God Of Mischief wrote:Activision needs to make a color DLC pack or patch for multiplayer. The only part of the game I was truly disappointed in was the limited color choices. I don't see why colors are exclusive to factions.
I agree with you on that. Hell, just adding white to the Autobots options would be enough for me. My main Autobot Scout is Arcee and she just doesn't look right without white as her secondary color. Also, naked Ultra Magnus. (I could have sworn one of the early trailers for Multiplayer showed Optimus prime with a white paint job)
On the other hand, color is a way of distinguishing friend and foe. A blue and red bot with red neon lighting is clearly an Autobot, for example. The Scientist's Disguise ability actually takes advantage of this, changing you to the opposing team's colors.
Although the body type and name tag is an even better way of telling friend from foe.

This is apparent since both Swoop and Grimlock are on the DS version. I hope they do utilize the characters from the DS version and make themn downloadable for the PS3 and Xbox, just like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 did. Come on Grimlock and Ultra Magnus....COME ON!!!!!!!

Ideally I'd like Swindle's frame as a Decepticon Scout, Motormaster as another Leader.
Posted by Blurrz on July 4th, 2010 @ 4:31pm CDT
kind of odd being Arcee one game and then Breakdown the other.

Noideaforaname wrote:That was.. quick. Not complaining, but the game hasn't been out that long. I've heard people cry foul when similar packs for other games were released months after the game (some conspiracy about developers purposely holding off multiple (near) finished parts of the game to sell later, which is of course not anything new; ironically that game has only had, like, one other expansion pack).
Glad we have less of those crazies here!
The reason for that is because, as far as I'm concerned, we want High Moon to make as much money with this project as they can. That way we get more sequels, DLC, toys, etc. Games like Halo, COD, and Battlefield all come from studios that have more than enough popularity and money to produce a sequel with little or no effort. Hence why most people cry foul when they release DLC this quickly. I just hope to see a date for this round of DLC soon.

They're not crazy, they're right. IGN's reported on it - they're convinced that acting in this dishonest manner is going to end up in a lawsuit, as it involves selling something to people who have technically already bought it.
War for Cybertron's commited this. The download for Jazz was only like, 22 kb. He's already present on the disc.

This is where I have to disagree with you. They aren't right. They belive it is something they own, and you may have bought the disc, but its what they give you that you have bought. If you owned everything thats on the disc with games, you would have things like Hot Coffee that show up and cause more trouble, because you owned that too, because it was on the disc. Also, I have to agree with others on this that High Moon deserves a little bit more money on this, since its not going to be the biggest game of the year, no matter what we want to believe. I know people, my own roommate included, who refuse to buy or play this game, just because it is tranformers, no matter how good the game may be. So, if we can contribute a few extra bucks for a little more variety and playtime, maybe so we don't get bored with some of the maps we have and whatnot, then I say more power to them.

Yeah? And is the data for Scattershot, Onslaught and the new maps on there as well?
Fun fact about DLC: They often don't think about it until after the release. Maybe they intended to release it as some kind of sinister cash grab...or maybe they realized what was happening with people trying to trade or even BUY pre-order codes at ridiculous prices, and decided just to let everyone use them, and threw in some unreleased characters and maps as well.

Ideally, the options that Armored Core provides for customising your chars will be patched in. But thats a bit much.

I don't think ie ver played that. I'd just be happy with some extra colors. (And for once to be on a team that actually wins once in a while)

Why should it? ROTF DLC was mutual for both, i don't see why WFC would be different. PS3 has their own credit system, so you'll just have to pay for it much like us 360 users.

Disguise is garbage. It only works at long range. At mid to close range it's like saying "Okay, I barely snuck up on you. Please shoot me before I can launch my sneak attack." Drain/Shockwave and Sentry for Scientists. Sentry is a must and the other two are both very good and suited for different builds. Also once you've seen the Player do anything other than use disguise it's really obvious.
The only way to fix Disguise is for them to patch it to where you also get the other faction's skin. Because when you use disguise you're adopting the color scheme you set for the other faction of that character slot. Appearing to the other side as the Autobot/Decepticon version of the character you're not using (Like Spy in TF2) would make Disguise a viable tactic and not a waste of space.
