Having way too much money and room to spare, I'd buy all of those highly sophisticated TF statues.

MMTFM-15: BARRICADE (TRANSFORMERS 2007) "ARE YOU USERNAME: LADIESMAN217?" Prime 1 Studio is proud to present MMTFM-15: Barricade from Transformers Film. Barricade is apparently a complicated robot. He believes that Starscream is vital in their search for Megatron and the AllSpark. In many ways, this makes him Starscream's closest ally in the naturally combative Decepticon ranks. Then again, it's been said that he likes to trick people into trusting him, just so he can see their reactions when they find out just how much of a bad idea it was. As such, he has disguised himself as an Earth police car in an attempt to fool the humans around him. Statue features: - Size approx. 30 inches tall [(H)64.5cm (W)50cm (D)43cm] - LED Light-up function on head - Limited quantity worldwide Retail Price: $1499 US Edition Size: 750 Prototype samples shown. Product details could be subjected to change without further notice.

“Love that guy. Goosebumps every time.”
- About Optimus Prime
Prime 1 Studio is proud to present MMTFM-19: Crosshairs from The Transformers: The Last Knight. Crosshairs is an Autobot member and supporting character in the 2014 movie, Transformers: Age of Extinction and its sequel Transformers: The Last Knight. When the chips are down, Crosshairs is the kind of guys you would want on your team. Or you would if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s self-loving and more than a bit of a jerk. He is a paratrooper who’s a mouthful of snark with a bad attitude. He only cares about one such person: himself. Crosshairs choose to be independent so that he can avoid danger, even if his allies are in danger.

Is this not the same fandom that wants to buy POTP Optimus as a "stand in" for MP-10? Is this not the same fandom that complains about a $50 import tax? Is this not the same fandom that left Walmart shelves clogged with Bayverse toys 5 times already? Who the hell spends $1500 and a non-transforming statue? Especially one of a character who barely did anything in the movie?
Yes, because every fandom is a singular entity, and if any two people within that fandom hold different opinions then it's hypocrisy and needs to be called out!

Bear in mind that if we take the production numbers for say, the Crosshairs statue, then if 1050 people - 1050 people in the entire world - decide to buy it for the asking price, then all the stock will be sold and Prime 1 Studio will be totally satisfied. On the other hand, if 1050 people the world over buy a copy of every single movie-related item, or purchase an MP-10, or don't complain about import taxes on the internet, nobody's ever going to notice the slightest difference.
Not that I'd ever buy these in all my years either, but don't confuse general consensus for unanimous opinion. Some people do want to buy these, and if they decide they want to spend a few thousand dollars on non-transforming statues, that's their prerogative!

Well im genuinely curious exactly what type of Transformers fans buy $1500 statues. My first thought might be movie buffs who also have statues of Predator, Iron Man, Terminator, etc. But then I think those guys probally wouldnt buy characters outside of Optimus Prime, Megatron, or Bumblebee. But Crosshairs? No way ! Thats a character only a hardcore Transformers fan would buy. So where are the hardcore Transformers fans that snub MP to collect $1500 statues? Are you out there? (crickets chirping)
One thing I noticed about these statue threads on both here and TFW is that you never see anybody posting the usual comments such as "it will be mine" or "pre-ordered on sight" or the infamous "shut up and take my money" meme. Where are these uber-rich super fans of Transformers? They sure arent here or on TFW. What kind of hardcore fans buy $1500 statues but dont post on fan sites? Its mind boggling. I recall BBTS asking for a non refundable down payment to pre-order one of these things. Cant say that I blame them, but it leads me to believe these things are really made to order and the whole "limited run" is a lie to get you to believe the makers sell more than 15 or 20 of them. $1500 x 1000 = 1 and a half million. I dont believe they make that much off of one statue when Takara cant even get 3,000 people worldwide to pre-order Grand Maximus for $250.
