A friend has contacted
Reprolabels.com asking if they would consider making an upgrade set for the
Fan's Project Citycommander armour upgrade for Classics Ultra Magnus. He has given us the
exclusive scoop on their reply!

Subject: Request/Suggestion
Hello,
I just placed an order with you and then I looked up at my Classics Ultra Magnus in the City Commander armor. Have you given thought to a decal set for that? The figure looks awesome in the upgrade set and all but the stickers they give you are just for the rotating license plate. If it had proper decals it would be amazing.

Revenge of the Fallen is catching more media attention as
USA Today posted a second article about the upcoming movie. The article describes the army equipment and cooperation that was needed to make this sequel.
Amid blinding platinum dunes baking in the 105-degree sun, scores of elite servicemen and women cluster in and around real tanks, rocket launchers and personnel carriers as they unleash a machine-gun barrage at an invisible (and entirely fictional) enemy: Transformers.
These troops, many of them recently returned from the actual life-and-death realities of Iraq and Afghanistan, aren't professional actors. But for the moment, they are the stars and this is the climactic battle of next summer's sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Eyewitness Reports- According to
Lapse of Reason, you may want to check out the Target exclusives the next time you are there. They may be marked with clearance prices. Lapse has already spotted them at 30% off the regular prices in his area.
"Both Springer/Ratbat & Dirge/Roadbuster comic packs and both Animated exclusive packs have entered the first round of Target clearance pricing (30% off). Target sales are nationwide so chances are your local Target store has marked them down already. These are not available online on Target's web site."
Take a look at your local Target if you are interested in finding these exclusives at a reduced price, and help your fellow collectors out by reporting to them in the appropriate thread in the Sightings Forum!

USA Today has a featured
article up on their site about the upcoming Michael Bay movie,
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. And the use of the US Military Forces for the movie.
"
The U.S. Department of Defense gave its official stamp of approval to the Michael Bay-directed film, not only allowing production amid the pristine dunes of the Army's New Mexico missile range, but also letting filmmakers follow jets and fighter planes through the sky from nearby Holloman Air Force Base. More scenes were shot on the Navy's aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis, and Marines fill the ranks of the strike team battling the invading Transformers".
"
Among the equipment the movie is using in this desert sequence alone: two A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog" tank-killing jets; six F-16 Fighting Falcons; 10 armored Humvees; the Army's Golden Knights parachute team; two Abrams tanks; two Bradley tanks; two missile-launcher vehicles; two armored personnel carriers; and a quarter-mile of the missile testing range, cleared of unexploded ordnance and built into an Egyptian town and temple. (Signs warn not to cross a perimeter just over the gypsum dunes, because live bombs could be hidden in the sand)".

E-Hobby has a new listing on their website for Transformers Henkei C-24 Hot Rod (from Micron Legends) along with many new high quality images.
In the images we see you will notice that the Japanese version has many more fan friendly paint applications then the US version of Universe Hot Shot. We also get to see where the chrome is placed on the figure, s many fans speculated they would be on the engine in Vehicle Mode and on the gray bits of Jolt. But one more additional location is now revealed as we see our first images of two chromed cannons that can be mounted in the figures forearms.
FYI: The Micron Legends character, "Hot Rod", is the Japanese name for Armada "Hot Shot". "Hot Rodimus" was the Japanese name of Hot Rod in the G1 series. They are not the same character.
