The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back in your feeds with an allegedly short episode that stretches into infinity, or at least into the typical length for this podcast. Listen in as ScottyP and Megatronus do their thing with Transformers news.
Episode #293 “License to Thrill” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
- After some irreverent small talk, we dive in earnest into Daikron, AKA Diaclone Ironhide, and the amazing packaging upgrade to Legacy's Generations Selects line.
- Speaking of Legacy, new core class figures have been revealed: Iguanus and Skywarp. While Skywarp's lack of ion blasters give us pause, there is no resisting the near perfect, threading-the-Pretenders-needle execution of Iguanus.
- The rumors have become reality as IDW is reported to lose the Transformers license at the end of the calendar year. We speculate on the remaining releases and how to transition to the new license holder.
- Rise of the Beasts the movie, delayed? Well that's not going to stop Rise of the Beasts toys from hitting shelves in Q2 of this year. How will these toys fair without media support? Not great.
- We have a Rise of the Beasts-related listener question from meanguns: "Everyone give a realistic prediction and a bold/ridiculous prediction." Well... you asked for it.
- Next we speak to the rollout of Legacy, the appearance of the line at French retail, and whether there's been a shift in approach given supply chain constraints and container allocations, or if it's just all in our heads.
- We wrap up with a round of bragging rights. Megatronus couldn't find an image of the really, really, really cool thing ScottyP got, so you'll just have to listen in to find out but he used magic Admin powers to edit this post to add it in. Cool!

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back with faces old and new as ScottyP, Megatronus, xRotorStormx, and prodigal son RodimusCOnvoy13 tackle the latest Transformers news and more.
Episode #278 “The Return of Rodimus Prime” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
- We start with a non-focused catch-up chat with RodimusConvoy13. Just hangin' out, talkin' Transformers to kick this one off, with no set topic in mind.
- After that, the discussion moves on to another War For Cybertron Kingdom Battle Across Time 2-pack - what a mouthful. This time, it's Maximal Skywarp and Earth-mode Sideswipe. Listen as we admire the double bird heads and try to pick out the differences from Siege Sideswipe. Sold out on Pulse, still available for PO on Amazon.
- Prior leaks have yielded this totally expected first look Road Rage. We welcome more lady-bots... and suspect Road Rage would give Tracks a swift kick in the lugnuts.
- Speaking of leaks: Waspinator. Since this episode recorded, it appears a video comparison has emerged, which validates our collective 'meh' reaction.
- Here we go: more redecos, this time under the banner of Takara Premium Finish. But you know what? We can actually get behind a few of these.
- Special Topic: considering the discussion thus far, which do you prefer - option A of "make a new toy of a character even if it's not as good as the previous iteration", or option B of "re-rel
- Bragging rights! What has everyone gotten since last time?

Greetings Seibertronians! Site owner,
Seibertron, has been getting busy with his camera again, returning to previous toylines. Today, he is filling gaps within the first installment of the epic, War for Cybertron toyline, Siege!
The subjects today are the Rainmakers: Acid Storm, Ion Storm and Nova Storm. These three were sold as a Target Exclusive in the states, all being redecos of the very well recieved Siege Voyager Class Cybertron Mode Starscream, who turns into a tetrajet. The tetrajet is modelled like the ones that Skywarp and Thundercracker turned into back in the pilot of the Generation 1 Transformers cartoon.
The mould itself recieved a lot of use. It was redeco'ed (and given two alternate heads) for the following figures: Siege Starscream, Siege Thundercracker, Siege Skywarp (as part of the Amazon Exclusive Phantom Strike set, the Netflix Transformers WfC Voyager Sparkless Seeker, Netflix Transformers WfC Voyager Hotlink, the Target Red Card Exclusive Red Wing, and these three.
Check out the galleries, and a few choice images below:
War for Cybertron: SIEGE Acid Storm (128 images) - Voyager Class
War for Cybertron: SIEGE Nova Storm (112 images) - Voyager Class
War for Cybertron: SIEGE Ion Storm (111 images) - Voyager Class
Did you get these figures? What was your experience with them? Have they added a dash of colour to your Decepticon displays?
Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

It's been a while for new galleries here on Seibertron.com, but that's about to change. Thanks to our friends at Hasbro, we've got the entire first wave of the highly anticipated Transformers War for Cybertron KINGDOM series. We weren't sure who to focus on first, but after reading comments on the Seibertron.com forums and messages from the Seibertron.com staff, it seems like Voyager Class Cyclonus was highest in-demand. So on that note ...
Behold! Seibertron.com's first gallery from the Transformers War for Cybertron KINGDOM series is none other than Voyager Class Cyclonus. This toy is probably the best rendition of him yet ... especially if you are a fan of the cartoon look for Cyclonus. He's a good size Voyager, taller than his case mate Optimus Primal from the same class size in Kingdom and comparable in size (but bulkier?) than recent Voyagers from the past couple of years. At a minimum, he has a lot more going on with his transformation and has a lot of great points of articulation including wrist, ankle, wrist, waist and multiple neck joints! His space jet mode is incredible -- all of his robot kibble disappears which gives it a very "mini-Masterpiece" like feel.
Cyclonus is the Unicron creation of dead Decepticon parts from the Transformers animted film from 1986. Bombshell? Skywarp? Who knows and who cares! Cyclonus is Galvatron's very loyal 2nd-in-command. He is the Decepticon's Ultra Magnus. He's awesome, needs more toys, and especially needs a Masterpiece toy after all of these years.
Our Cyclonus gallery includes comparison pictures with the rest of Kingdom's Wave 1 products. In addition, we pulled out all of the stops to include other comparison shots we thought you'd like to see with other versions of Cyclonus (Cyclonuses? Cycloni?) as well as comparisons with Transformers Universe Galvatron, Generations Scourge and even Titans Return Galvatron and Cyclonus. His Targetmaster partner Nightstick even makes an appearance!
Cyclonus and the other figures from this line are expected to hit retail in the next 4 to 8 weeks. When you get yours, be sure to share your thoughts. In the meantime, check out all 200+ photos of Cyclonus by clicking on any of the images below. His gallery includes all of the images you've come to expect from Seibertron.com over the years. Stay tuned for additional Transformers War for Cybertron Kingdom galleries throughout this Thanksgiving week!
Let us know what you think of Cyclonus here in our discussion topic about this toy line.
