Didn't get enough plastic crack on Christmas? Well, we have a Boxing Day treat for you! Thanks to fan transformers_va, we have a video review of another upcoming Earthrise figure for you, that of Wheeljack! Reviewer TonTon is at it again, bringing us the first look at the transformation, the accessory (singular ), and also does some nice size comparisons.
While somewhat plain in robot mode, his car mode is amazing to see. Plenty of "sponsor" decals and paint; very reminiscent of his Masterpiece figure. Wheeljack and his fellow deluxe figures Hoist, Cliffjumper, and Ironworks are due out in the next quarter (many preorders say March).
What do you think of this figure? Will it become THE Wheeljack in your CHUG collection? Let us know what you think!
Do you remember, some weeks back, when we reported on a possible non transforming Quintesson figure being released? As it seems to have turned out, the toy itself actually belongs to the Cyberverse line, as demonstrated by Peaugh on Twitter. He found this three pack at Target, and it includes a Quintesson Judge toy, with a rotating head gimmick, as Peaugh demonstrates in his tweet. Figures of Prowl and Shockwave are included, who come with helmets that simulate mind control by the Quintesson.
It doesn't appear to be a Target exclusive, and is showing up at retail right now, despite never being officially confirmed or shown at any show or convention.
So are you going to try and find this pack? Excited to have another Quintesson figure after 14 years? Let us know what you think below, and please report your sightings in your local sightings pages to help your fellow collectors. Thanks to Peaugh and also to Seibertronian leokearon for letting us know about it!
Masterpiece Hound was first revealed in July 2018 and now after a year and a half later, he is coming out. While he is coming out at the end of this month, many will be getting him early January. A fan got his hands on him already and uploaded many images on Baidu. Almost half are regarding instructions and steps, and you are free to translate the text found here for extra context. Below you will see images of the alt mode and bot mode with various accessories. Most images are rather unflattering, with dim lighting and a focus on how the head attaches in a funny way.
Take what you will from these but I would wait for criticism until more have it in hand.
The first wave of Transformers Cyberverse Ultra Class Energon Armor figures has been found in Canada. imfallenangel over at Cybertron.ca reported seeing Ultra Class Energon Armor Clobber at a Toysrus in Ontario. This fan also took images of the figure. It seem the armor is a pop up gimmick where it is stored in it's back when not in use. This character is a female robot who looks like Lugnut. However, she transforms into a tank type of vehicle here rather than a plane.
While this toy was found in Canada, we still have yet to see any of these toys in other countries, so if you find them, let us know.
The tail enders are usually the toughest to find so it's good to know that they these have been found at a big box store. Transformers War For Cybertron Siege Battle Masters Singe and Rung have been found at Target for $5.99. The specific sighting is from jerichoholic99 who found them in Lexington, Kentucky and posted them on the TFW2005 message boards.
Hopefully that means your local Target will get it too. Singe is a rather important Battle Mastrer since you need him to complete the G1 Targetmaster Spinister.
Botbots series 4 is ramping up to close out the year and now the "Surprise Unboxing" 6-packs are available for immediate shipping from Amazon.com. You can buy the Gumball Machine by clicking here or pick up the Claw Machine by clicking this link. Each set features six Botbots, including one Winner's Circle gold painted Botbot, as well as four stickers.
Yours truly picked up two of each set and was fortunate enough to get one of each of the currently known sets in this assortment which works out to be two for each machine, making a total of four of these capsule sets. Let us know if you pick up any sets that don't match these content listings as it's always possible that true randomness has arrived since this latest series omits instructions for the figures. While no coding system appears to be in place on the packaging to help out if you find these on retail shelves, the contents can be determined by checking which Botbots are in the clear-colored capsules included in each set.
If you don't want to be surprised by the contents, the breakdown of each "Surprise Unboxing" set is as follows:

In one set:
Smore N' More (Clear capsule)

We posted pictorial reviews for the much anticipated deluxe Optimus Prime and Shockwave from Cyberverse already but of course pictures don't convey the transformation. To cover that part, Chuckdawg1999 has video reviews of these two toys.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Shockwave is a good deluxe figure but I feel it falls short when compared to Bumblebee and Megatron. My one big issue is the neon-pink rubber cable that connects the large cannon to the backpack; it's way too stiff out of the box and even after working it can still limit arm articulation. Overall, Shockwave is a solid purchase but I would recommend the other figures in the wave first.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:While I was hoping that Optimus Prime would be the best figure of the first four, it ends up falling somewhere in the middle due to incredibly loose joints that make a fun transformation finicky. The included Ion Blaster while small, features quite a bit of detail but I feel the Matrix is where the included blast effect will spend most of its time. Overall, this is a solid figure but not the home run that I was hoping for.
Just when it was looking like T.J.Maxx wasn't going to have any decent Transformers deals this holiday season, this happened. While out Christmas shopping (yes, I'm a last minute shopper) I was surprised to find a legit Transformers section at a local T.J.Maxx. And it's not just old wave 1 overstock, but some pretty recent releases including Power of the Spark Ultimate Class Grimlock for only $20 (which our own william-james88 declared the best Transformer gift for young fans). Also of note is Spark Armor Elite Class Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Bumblebee for $20 each, and Warrior Class figures for only $4.99! As you can see from the photos below they also had a nice selection of Scouts and 1 Step Changers which I unfortunately didn't catch the price on. Plus there was a selection of Bumblebee Movie Energon Igniters Power Plus Series figures such as Bumblebee(s), Shatter, and Soundwave for $10.

It's been two weeks since Studio Series Roadbuster was revealed, and thanks to Seibertroian PrimeVsPrime, we have an early review of this Scottish fella!
PrimeVsPrime showed great content for this figure, citing its superiority to the Deluxe Class Roadbuster, which is shown through comparisons. We also have a nice comparison between this and the other two Deluxe Wreckers from Dark of the Moon, in which the toy fits in nicely. Since this is an early review, there is unfortunately no view of the figure's backdrop or box.
If you have any interest in Roadbuster or PrimeVsPrime's reviews, than we suggest watching the video, and telling your thoughts in the Pub forums below!
Check out the products by clicking on any of the images below to order or pre-order these products for your collection. Again, these products have had spotty availability all day but with any luck, you should be able to add these to your cart for delivery later this week!
If you find any other new products or awesome deals on Amazon.com, please share your findings in our "pre-order/instock online sightings" topic in the Seibertron.com Energon Pub forums to help out your fellow Seibertronians. Thanks!
