Why is the coloring so different?

Probably the deluxe is an exclusive color scheme to the set...

Pink "battle damage"? Really, Hasbro, lay off the crack.
Overall, the figure looks good. If it wasn't for the battle damage, I would probably opt to buy the two-pack instead of the individual figures. Oh well, I like my Primes and Megs to be Voyager class or better anyway.

I think I’ll get this one rather than the voyager. Voyager Megatron’s cannon is way to big.
Bottom line, none of these figures have thrilled me yet.

Not fair. Just not fair.
I promised myself I wouldn't buy a single Animated toy and then Hasbro goes and makes a 2 pack of mini versions of Prime and Megs - the one thing I cannot resist. And better colors to boot.
My wallet hurts.

I thought it was just the same figure repainted. Now I'll just pick up Voyager Megs & Earth Prime instead of this

One of the pics at the Actoys site linked in the first post shows the two from behind. That one makes it pretty obvious that they're two different molds, so I might have to pick both of 'em up. I'm really happy with the Animated show, so I might go nuts over the toys.

The pink actually makes sense. Energon bleeds.

I like the smaller one better. Ill be getting both since they both look good but i think they did a better job on the smaller Megatron.

So how many Megatrons will this line have?
A Voyager, a Deluxe, then an Earth mode?
Oh well, I just wanna know if the 2 pack will have a domestic release.

Or maybe it's prototype markings?

The smaller class for Megatron looks better, I think. Something about him in robot and vehicle modes just seems to work better. The markings look simmilar to the ones on Prime. Could be a theme for the line.

the delux megs ship looks a bit more coherent than the voyager one although the overall feel of delux megs is that hes a bit of a rush job, it doesnt look to have the quality of say delux prowl or cybertron prime, i could be proven wrong though once the toys are in hand. I like this set mainly for the prime. Hopefully it will be out soon so that at least kids know whats around the corner.

I liked voyager-sized Cybertron Megs until I saw the pic of just how BIG his cannon is, and how he seems to have a hard time standing up with it. That's very disappointing.
Deluxe-sized Battle Damaged Cybertron Megs looks good, but since Cybertronian Megs TOWERS over Cybertronian Optimus in Animated, I don't know if the deluxe size really fits Megs.
I don't know, I may just buy the voyager Earth version.

Poor Megatron, how come he did not have insurance at the moment of the collision??? no attorney you said either?? well I guess that's why he got that bad damage all over the mold
Man! that thing is ugly as (censored) I rather spend that money in whatever else than Whatevertron... ugly

Look closely at the pics, the pic with them getting ready to kill you with there cannons, Voyager megatron has clearly had his cannon changed, blades on the bottem going in different directions and the cannon is definently longer, i think you could have it shotter if you wanted, fairly cirten actualy.
As fo me i'll defenently be picking up voyager, delux is so small, and oce again, NO Sword, blades on the cannon do not count either, i'm making him a sword

I don't dig the "battle damage" on either him or Prime...
But I may still get that set.
We'll see when I see it in person.

So that's a battle damage. I thought it was just some sort of emblem.
Now i see the differnce. Their wear different pants.

I don't see how Hasbro can justify releasing 2 molds that are so similar ar the same time. Why even waste the effort of creating a mold so similar? It seems like they're just burning money.

Yeah. Voyager is just one step up from Deluxe.
Unlike Leader Brawl, which is 2 steps up from Deluxe Brawl.

Tough call. Both toys look good, and there's not enough reason to buy both given their similarity. If the two-pack works well in cost-saving terms, I suspect I'll opt for it instead of two different Voyagers. That's a good thing, considering how much I suspect Animated will cost me.

Both are pretty awesome IMHO. I like the way the cannon sits on the deluxe figure. Of course, the Voyager cannon might be capable of the same poses, but the pics don't make it very clear.
NICE!

I think the Deluxe version will cater to the buyers who just wants to have Prime and Megatron. And for the kids too.
While the Voyager is for those who plans to complete the whole series.

I dunno, the delux doesn't seem *that* much shorter, and I like the design on the cannon a LOT more than the buster gun Voyager Megs has. Other than the pink cr@p, which should come off easily enough, I like the deluxe version better.
I'll prolly end up getting both

I'm one of the people who will probably just want prime and megatron, but I'm still passing on this for the voyagers. If I'm getting them, I want them big and detailed. Although wouldn't deluxe Prime be more to scale? I mean he was like half the size of meg in the pilot ep.

Finally, a Transformers line that goes back to basics, and don't look like blocks of crap like the past 6 TF toylines (Including the horrible pathetic looking movie toys aka the Bionacle rip off's)

Jesus christ almighty. Why do they always have to screw up figs of- what would seem- the second most important character? When was the last megatron that actually was any good? my god they screwed up the deluxe. and this battle damage is just hilarious.
